Hello, I just wanted to send all compliments to your employee Judith J, who has helped me in a way I cant describe simply with rating 10 stars. She went beyond my expectations, showed genuine interest, I felt I was heard, and not to mention the issue has been solved. You are happy to have such an asset to your team! It is people like this who make customers come back.
Ms. Brenda was very courteous, and gave clear instructions on what to do regarding my concern. She also reassured me that the site administrator will take necessary action and investigate the issue. Would love for her to assist me again should I have other concerns. :)
Avery from Freelancer contacted to offer me a program they're offering on their platform. They were very professional, helpful and communicative. Most of my experiences with Freelancer's staff in different areas are so far good, I'm always left with an impression that they are professional.
I have been working here since last couple of years. I am so happy today, to see myself at the level i even dreamed for and its just a start.
My earnings are more than twice, what other developers of my experience getting in the local market.
All because of this platform. Huge number of clients. Great Recruiter projects and brilliant 24/7 support.
Thank You Freelancer for everything
Agent Lou C provided really good service in problem solving issues with my funds. I definitely do not agree on the way Freelancer addressed it but Lou provided clear explanation and options for me to review and decide.
This was absolutely a 5 star service.
Chelsea was very prompt, professional and thoughtful. From prioritising the application review to kindly informing about a certain delay, that not many people do when setting a meeting, she provided the best services.
I work with Freelancer for several years, even before they buy RentACoder, and the only time I had a problem with a bad employer, they support gives me a great help. Actually I'm making all my month profit through it. People who has problems, might want to check the rules first: don't accept bids or don't bid in projects which the owner has no stars (if they're not new at the website).
Good support and the answers given were sufficient. Although I think it could have been a bit faster in my eyes - used to work CS as well. But over all, good experience, and much better service compared to some other bigger and smaller companies online.

I tried this site for about 2 weeks. I only tried out doing graphic design contest. A majority of the designers there are unprofessional and unimaginative. Most designers at freelancer.com copy others work, steel images of the internet, use stock clip art, and can not come up with original ideas. For example, if you ask for a logo for a real estate company expect to see the same image of the same house from 100 different people. And designing for someone is a guessing game. You will hardly ever get any feedback on your designs. And most clients give very vague statement about what they want.
As a web developer with several years of experience, my experience with Freelancer.com has been overwhelmingly positive. The platform provides a wide range of opportunities to connect with clients from all over the world, allowing me to expand my client base and take on more projects. The user-friendly interface and intuitive project management tools make it easy to communicate with clients, track progress, and deliver high-quality work. The site's escrow system also provides peace of mind, ensuring that payments are securely held until the project is completed to the client's satisfaction. Overall, I would highly recommend Freelancer.com to any web developer looking to grow their business and find new clients.
I just became a new user to this site and was lucky enough to score a job on my first day for 550$ USD. Freelancer made me owe them 55$ USD which is fine to get a percentage of the business.
Problem is when you do the job and the client decides to takes off on the project entirely before paying or even viewing your work, Freelancer.com still wants there money.
I suggest staying far away from this Indian bot flooded marketplace and take your chances with craigslist or whatever local classifieds website that's in your area.
Hi, Jeff. My name is Lara and I'm from Freelancer.com. Please refer to your ticket (ID: SNI-241-35282) for updates. If you need further assistance, feel free to let me know.
All I wanted to do was make payment to the contractor and more than an hour later, I was still filling out forms, having information rejected, and having a difficult time finding where to go to get help. Why not have a simple submit payment option and be done. I won't use Freelancer again. There are too many other services out there that make it far simpler.
Brenda A. Was professional and supportive. She understood my problem and helped me perfectly. She also took extra time to explain certain things about the site. Really appreciate it. Would recommend her 100%
The verification process is really easy and takes up only something like 10 minutes of your time. Ms. Chelsea V. (my interviewer) was very kind, cheerful and informative, and everything went smooth. Thank you again and have a great day!
Freelancer post fake projects, often fixed price, to try to scam finder fees from users. Dreadful business with even worse customer service, don't touch them, go to reputable websites like Upwork and Peopleperhour
Maine was very helpful, friendly and persuasive.
For the team leader: Please try supporting your agents better and perhaps let them know about payment issues with certain third-party providers upfront.
This would make their job hella lot easier and save time for both parties involved, agent and customer.
Give Maine a raise!
It was really an excellent experience with the support team. I did not suffer at all,my problem was solved easily and comfortably. Thank you very much. They are very understanding of customer problems.

Freelancer's payment system is a terrible mess. Transactions on your bank statement do not match the receipts from freelancer due to project fees amongst many other nuances that make the payment process confusing to deal with. Support is great though very friendly, patient, and responsive.
Answer: It is a PR platform that enables scammers to appear legitimate or verified. Freelancer doesn't care. They get a sizeable commission no matter if the posting is legitimate or not. Example: A fake ebook listing. Needs author to write 50000 words for US$ 2000. Unwitting freelancer bids and is 'awarded project' with message saying hurry up and accept. Once accepted, freelancer takes 'project fee' while you get tied up in their help callcenter trying to recoup not only the fee but potentially the fake employer gleaned from you using their platform. This site will be in the news soon. Trust me.
Answer: Hi Dejan. This happened to me in 2014, I lost a lot of money too, I withdrew the money on a Wednesday after the client had paid me $1000 in full. Then the next day, Thursday, I got a message that my withdrawal request was cancelled and the money reversed back to employer. My account was suspended and when I asked why, I was told that the employer looked like he was fraudulent and that the money might be fraud. Up to date, I am still bitter, angry and sad over that $1000 but I never got it back and Freelancer closed the person's account and that was that. So I hope this answers some of your questions and I am deeply sorry for your loss after such hard work. All the best
Answer: Freelancer.com focused on employer only, they just want as many employer and project as they can regardless of their country, verification status and deposits. However all the restriction is for employee. This is the reason Freelancer didn't stop them to post project without deposit. Almost 90% projects are fake (either posted by freelancer itself or fake/fraud employers). You have to be careful. Keep following things in mind will prevent you from fraud much. 1. Don't work for Employers from India/Bangladesh/Sri Lanka/Nigeria/Israel 2. Don't work for Employers whose name looks like Indian 3. Once the project is awarded to you, don't accept it unless the employer created initial milestone. Wait for at least 12 hours after milestone creation then accept it. 4. Ask for release step by step, don't work on next milestone unless previous is not released 5. Withdraw money from freelancer as fast as you can.
Answer: You can't say its fake but at the same time you can't just trust it fully. My point here is: people do get things done for the price but when it comes to money/payment, you can not trust freelancer. Sometimes it gets reversed from your account and you won't even get a satisfactory reason for it. I suffered a loss of 900 USD. All I get to hear that employer had some account issues and we can not disclose this any further. If you looking to work as a freelancer, go odesk or upwork and any other site first and then freelancer.com. Small incident: I worked for a client, designed the logo got the parent for it. Next day when looged in, my account showed negative balance ( payment reversed). Support: employer have acc. Issues Client: never came back or responded to any mails. Result: I worked and still in debt.
Answer: Dispute it with PayPal! Another beautiful example of why everyone hates Freelancer.
Answer: Freelancer is scam. I have very bad experience recently. "The payments you've received from your employer "-----------" were reversed due to their account issues. As a result, their account was closed" Lost over 800$. Freelancer also keep the fee for this job! Their support never answer. SCAM
Answer: Agree, do not use credit card details - freelancer is a terrible organisation when it comes to finances - they just debit your card at will, no warning, no opportunity to review the transaction, no notification of the charge - you just find out once you get your bank statement. Be very, very wary of this company - not saying their dodgy, BUT they are very devious when it comes to transactions. I think their motto is - "debit any time, just don't tell them and they wont complain"
Answer: Contact Paypal and file a dispute. I got a refund for the monthly amount that they should not have charged me for.
Answer: Good afternoon Rostyslav, unfortunately this has happened to most users of Freelancer including people who have been awarded projects. Ensure that you do not start any work or event accept a project until the following criteria have been met: 1. Project awarded 2. Initial milestone/deposit created 3. Client agrees to release the first payment immediately after you accepting the project. If they are unable to do this, tell then politely that you are unwilling to start on the project and keep looking for honest, legitimate clients. Be careful at all time on this website, even if you do vey thing by the book and the client still doesn't pay, the Freelancer support team will not help you. It is left to you to contact the client and chase the payment even of they delete their account.
Answer: Don't share you card. Use Paypal. First of all don't use freelancer they are scammers.
