I have searched Hilton ocean city but guest reservation lured me to their website and I have booked a reservation with a 3 days cancellation policy
But I have cancelled the reservation 10 days before but the company refused the refund and gave me a hard time but I fought for couple months but they did not refund the money
I have contacted Hilton but they said it is not the hotel charged me but the hotel partner guest reservations
Finally I have to dispute the charges with credit card and they granted me the credit
Guest reservations is a subsidiary of Priceline It is a shame that they did this kind of business
When making reservations online make sure you are on the hotel real website and not any partners
AVOID Guest reservation
Enjoyed staying here Max at the front desk was very helpful provided great service room amenities are nice and you
Hi Joseph, your satisfaction as a customer is of utmost importance to us, and we are committed to resolving the issue. Please contact our customer support team at customercare@guestreservations.com to help resolve your concern. Thank you.
The Manager of Hampton Inn & Suites in Coconut Creek needs to be removed. My check in took 50 minutes after he promised it would be available shortly in no more than 20 minutes.
I made reservation and before you know they had picked the wrong date and an extra $50 charge without indicating the reason for extra charge.
Hi Mohammad,

DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THIS WEBISTE. Unfortunately if you are reading this, you have probably done the same as me and everyone else and thought you were booking through the hotel's own webite. This company is a scam. They add 50 % extra onto your booking as taxes and fees. There phone numbers do not work, so you cannot call them to dispute it.
Everything went well. They took care of me. My room was well kept and the bar area and food was excellent.
I made reservations over the phone around 2am 2/15/20. I specifically informed of my need of a room at that current time. After multiple searches, due to no availability, Valentines day, i was told there were 2 rooms left at hotel found. I proceeded with reservation with complete understanding of my accommodation, verified with agent. It was understood. When i arrived to hotel, there was no reservation for current check in. Check in would be 3pm 2/15/20, and there were no rooms available at all. When I explained matter, according to their calendar/time. 2am was still 2/14/20. I called customer service and explained, requesting a refund due to mistake on their behalf and miscommunication. There was NO any understanding, denied mistake, on their behalf, their agents are well qualified, trained, and last NO refund when no cancellation policy was even explained. I am completely angered because there is nothing i can do, nor any compensation of a refund due to misinformation given. I now have paid $143.97 for a room never stayed in or checked into. I will never make reservations through an outside agent again and DO NOT recommend this money thieving company who has NO Customer satisfaction skills!
They charge phony fees "State Tax Recovery"?
And charge hidden cancellation fee when you realize they are misrepresenting they hotel or vacation you are trying to book
Hi George, we are sorry you had this experience. Just like when you book through a hotel directly, Guest Reservations must charge its customers for all applicable taxes, including any hotel taxes. Additionally, by charging a service fee for all of its reservations, we are able to offer 24/7 customer support and operate as an independent travel network. Guest Reservations conspicuously discloses all fees and taxes on its checkout summary webpage, asking customers to check a box acknowledging these before they enter their payment information. Despite our transparency, we remain concerned about your experience. Please provide us your reservation # and the email address used at purchase and we will respond with the next steps. Thank you.
Took an hour to check in, elevators broke 30-45 wait to get to room. Loud music in hallway and heard in room. Will never stay here again.
Guestreservation is corupt charged me $180. Instead of $131.00 without letting you know untill you give them your credit card and then refuses to refund your money when you call them back right away to cancel. The sheraton and marriotte hotels should be ashamed to let this corrpt company reserve for them as well as google for allowing this company on their website. Google, sheraton and marriotte hotels should have a responsability to protect their users as well as their clients.

Accomodation cost of $500 with added taxes of $250? Two nights accomodation! Daylight robbery. Of course bookings are non refundable.
Hi Adam,
We're sorry your Guest Reservations experience didn't meet your expectations. We take customer satisfaction seriously and want to help every traveler have a great experience.
We understand you were surprised by the additional fees. Like most hotels and other travel agencies, we charge applicable tax recovery charges and a service fee to cover 24/7 support, service and platform features, and operating costs. We always disclose all fees and tax recovery charges prior to booking and require customers to confirm the total amount.
We do our best to be transparent about policies and make sure they're clearly stated on our website so you know where you stand. However, we are happy to work with you on the issues you raised. Booking and paying for our room was good. But not so much with the room or the hotel. The hotel was run down and needs A LOT of repairs and cleaning!
I hate to admit it, but I got duped by these people. They will book your room, but will OVER charge you for it. On a recent trip I booked a room through guestreservations.com, where they told me there was, "only one room left...". We just searched on our phone will driving, and at the time we didn't realize they were a 'scam'. When we got to the Hampton, we commented about, "... the last room" and the lady at the front desk noted,..."we have 28 rooms available". That was the first 'red-flag'. Upon getting the receipt from Hampton (noting a final bill of $107.56) I was further alarmed, since I had received an email from 'Guest Reservations' with a final bill of $158.16. I then called Hampton, and it all became clear,...'guestReservations' is nothing more than a THIRD party middleMan, MISleading and OVERcharging people. My mistake, lesson learned, but I will NEVER use these people again, period.
PAY ATTENTION to the web url you end up at when you book a room, if it ends up at "guestreservations.com"... STAY AWAY, or you will OVERpay.
For the record, this review is for "guestreservations.com" (Not Hampton Inn, for which I had no issues with this visit)
Booked a hotel with a reasonable price. Clicked button & hey presto, the booking cost is the same but the taxes are almost half of the cost (on top of the booking cost may I add)
Fast, Cheap and Easy. Website clear and easy to handle to make the customer experience easiest as possible. Perfect.
They pretend to be the hotel. Then charge you extra fees. Can never get a hold of them. Emails bounce back. DO NOT USE.

Guestreservation sucks, charged me $80 USD more for the same hotel compared to other websites. Do not use it!
Leah, we’re sorry you had that experience. Customer satisfaction is our priority, and we would like to help. To keep your information secure, please DM us your reservation # and we will respond with the next steps. Thank you.
It would have been cheaper to book my rooms directly through the motel than this service and save almost $200 per room in fees that they called taxes, what a scam.
Very deceptive and not at all reputable. Unreasonable charges in their taxes. They absolutely appear to look like you are booking with the hotel.

Their online advertising continues to deceive consumers into believing they are booking direct to the hotel. They do not provide details of upcharges and their cancelation policy until after clicking what one thinks is just a confirmation page to make sure the reservation is correct. And Then its too late-gotcha! Not only do you find out after clickibg this, That you're immediately booked and charged with a 3rd party, you get to see the real cost of your error. BBB has followed them for 1 year after 1800+ complaints. They have changed their name getaroom.com guestreservations.com but are still deceiving consumers. It took me eight minutes to realize they were 3rd party and I canceled in 8 minutes, found the real hotel phone number, called to book direct AFTER I verified they had no other reservation for me (they didnt) and getaroom still rooked me for $1545. 52. Image that looks like La Quinta, is not the hotel, it is getaroom.com
Still looking at options for justice.

Answer: They did the same to me. The reason is because they are stealing from you and hope you don't notice or don't care
Answer: I feel your pain. What's sad is that this company is an affiliate of Expedia
Answer: Literally the same. Hope you get reimbursed! Good luck!
