I thought I was booking at the Hilton website, but it was the guestreservations.com site that fakes the original company but adds their own charge - saw this at the last minute and noped out of there. Booked the same room at the Hilton website, saved $300 per night. Careful this site does not intercept your booking, total rip off.
I thought I was booking through a hotel website and somehow ended up booking through this website- it doesn't make sense! When they tried to charge me an extra £193 I did not complete booking- I never entered the OTP code from the bank yet they still charged me and the hotel never had any record of the booking at the time. Completely disgusted, I can't even get through to talk to anyone from this supposed company. Absolutely disgusted! BE CAREFUL WHEN BOOKING AND DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE.
How do I report this website because it shouldn't even be allowed to operate the way it does. How can it take you out of the hotel website and send you to their page?
Hi Samuel, Guest ReservationsTM is an independent travel network, offering reservations and exclusive deals for more than 100,000 hotels throughout the world. We understand that you were surprised to learn that Guest Reservations is not affiliated with the hotel where you made your reservation. We are sorry to learn of this misunderstanding. Guest Reservations tries to be as transparent as possible in disclosing that it is an independent travel network, which is not affiliated with any hotel. We would like to contact you directly to help with your concerns. To keep your information secure, please send us a message with your reservation # and email address used at purchase and we will respond with next steps. Thank you.
The website flamenco.guestreservations.com pops up as the first ad when trying to find a legitimate hotel website for a direct booking.
The currency symbol used in the booking process is neither the one for the country of the hotel, nor the booking charge in dollars, which confuses the process. They charge more than USD100 in fees for themselves for a simple two night booking, and only offer a laughable "10 to 15% discount" when you call to cancel the reservation for a full refund.
I will repeat this warning on several anti-fraud websites and of course to my credit card provider.
Troubled that this company advertise a price and then almost double it with hidden fees. These are tucked away in the small print, after the booking confirmation form.
Used this site to save $20 and ended up paying $50 in fees! The hotel taxes were only $8.00 and the guest reservation service fee was $42.00! Will never use his website again.
Hi Shannon, we are sorry you had this experience. Just like when you book through a hotel directly, Guest Reservations must charge its customers for all applicable taxes, including any hotel taxes. Additionally, by charging a service fee for all of its reservations, we are able to offer 24/7 customer support and operate as an independent travel network. Guest Reservations conspicuously discloses all fees and taxes on its checkout summary webpage, asking customers to check a box acknowledging these before they enter their payment information. Despite our transparency, we remain concerned about your experience. Please provide us your reservation # and the email address used at purchase and we will respond with the next steps. Thank you.
I booked through the website and after my credit card was charged 908$, it said on their website "Credit Card is declined". What a fraud!
They have no response to emails.
Do not ever deal with them.
Karim, we’re sorry you had that experience. Customer satisfaction is our priority, and we would like to help. To keep your information secure, please DM us your reservation # and we will respond with the next steps. Thank you.
THEY ADVERTISE A VERY ECONOMICAL RATE AND THEN ADD ON RIDICULOUS CHARGES. Booked a one night stat advertised as $255 and the fee charged was $398.00 (per them, taxes and fees). Tried to cancel and they do not refund (even though the hotel allows cancellation within 24 hours). Their terms and conditions covers them for any sort of class action suits. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!

SCAMMERS, SCAMMERS, SCAMMERS
This site makes it's money by spoofing the actual hotel site and uses the same pictures as the actual hotel as well as their verbage. In any other context this would be a SCAM. May criminal charges rain down upon the fraudsters. They charge hundreds $100"s of dollars over what the hotel charges. If I could let all know about this without leaving a star I would
Hi, your satisfaction as a customer is of utmost importance to us, and we are committed to resolving the issue. Please contact our customer support team at customercare@guestreservations.com to help resolve your concern. Thank you.
Scroll down the bottom to see the actual price these guys charge. $91 just for booking fees on top of the hotel fee? You're now infamous in our country all over the news. What a low act.
BEWARE! Do not get pulled in by the the "you have 10 minutes to secure this price" bs! Ended up paying more for the "special deal" WITH NO PARKING INCLUDED, than going with regular hotel reservations, including the parking. Then at the end before you even get a price, they zap you with a non-refundable clause. NOPE, NATTA, NEVER AGAIN. These types of businesses give great travel services a bad name. DONT DO IT!
Beautiful clean rooms, super comfortable beds! Donna was excellent to deal with and so welcoming. Pizza on the deck was amazing
Have logged several complaints All ignored. I was told no supervisor available,no supervisor in building. Not allowed to transfer me to a supervisor. I booked through this site by accident. I told operator I get a work discount which she promised me would be good at hotel. Hotel said no.YOU have this recording on file but refuse to listen or let me hear it. My rate was 140 plus fees and taxes. Operator told me she has to charge approx 243, and Cambridge suites will only charge 140plus fees and refund the rest. MY FINAL BILL was around 345$. She charged me in American funds which was not mentioned this operator told me he would put in request for the difference.16 dollars is all I will receive. We make these trips for my son who has to go to the iwk children's hospital for treatment he can't get at home. We are a single income family who has to travel 900km round trip. It's not easy financially. Now I get scammed insulted LIED TO MULTIPLE TIMES with no help in site. All I ask for is what is fair. I am reaching out one last time before I go public. I have some proof myself of what was said
Hi Trevor, our customer support agents are committed to your satisfaction. So we can securely look into this, please private message/DM us your reservation number, email address, and name the reservation was made under. Thank you.
I thought i was booking a room though Hilton. They are using Hilton name in their URL. I booked a room for $166 and clicked on complete booking button. They did not show me final cost. When i got the reservation email, the cost was $234. I asked Hilton front desk how much the room cost after all taxes and fees. It was $180. So this fraudulent company added $50 fees on top without giving me the chance to accept the charge. I could not cancel the reservation. I am putting a formal complaint about them to the Hilton company and BBB.
I was in a hurry booking a hotel reservation and thought I was on the hotel's website. I only realized that wasn't the case AFTER I made the reservation -- and noted that it was nearly $50 higher than it should have been. They charged that ridiculously high fee for booking the room (which would have been FREE through the hotel's website)... and I will lose that money if I have to cancel the reservation for any reason. BEWARE! I will never make this mistake again. This company is a scam!

No ice in the ice machine as the new young manager doesn't feel it is necessary or important. Just want to say I don't appreciate this.

I booked one night at the airport Hilton in Boston with Guest Reservations (by accident, by the way - I was trying to book directly with the hotel but GR popped up looking like the hotel!). Once booked, I realized they charged me approximately $130 MORE than I would have paid by going direct. I sucked it up. But then, I realized I had booked for the wrong night bc our flight was arriving at 12:47AM - so we arrived SUNDAY but needed the hotel for SATURDAY. I called to ask to have the night changed and was told it was not possible, that I would have to call the hotel directly. So I did, and the hotel told me they had a room and would be happy to make the change but that they did not have access to the reservation since it was booked via Guest Reservations, but that they would be happy to make the change if Guest Reservations would call them to authorize it. So I called GR back and explained...but they again said NO. Unbelievable, unacceptable, infuriating! To add insult to injury, they offered me a $35 coupon off a new reservation! I am 62 years old and have been traveling extensively for personal and business purposes for 40 years and have never before been so poorly treated by any supplier in the industry.

Booked a room and within 30 mins afterwards my flight was cancelled. It was 10am on the day of the reservation and these thieves will not cancell and give me a refund.
Hi Allan, we understand and we want to help resolve your concerns. To keep your account secure, please send us your reservation number (beginning with ‘R’), email address, and the name the reservation was made under in a private or direct message. Thank you.
I booked through guestreservations.com and approximately 1/3 of my total room charges were "tax charges and other service fees." I called customer service to get an explanation of these charges. The representative said she couldn't tell me what the charges were from. When I pressed her on not being able to explain to me the charges, she hung up on me. I called back. The 2nd representative basically told me the same thing - that they could tell give me a breakdown of my "tax recovery charges and service fees." the line items refers to "see details below. But there are no details below. This appears to be a scam. I will never use this website again to book reservations again. Unfortunately, I lose. Too late to cancel.
I typically do not do reviews. However, I want to ensure everyone stays as far as possible from this company. Just like others have said, it seems like you are getting a great deal. Then you confirm and book the reservation and you recieve an outrageous total. My total booking was showing $245 when I got my confirmation email, they had taken $781 from me. I had called them and gotten a confirmation email saying that I was getting a refund within 3-5 business days. I did not, I have documented 7 times I had called them ranging from bing on hold between 14-1 hour 17 minutes. I have spoken to several agents including Leah and Sydney. They stated their supervisor agents names as Jayna, Shanika, and Izdi. I have asked, cried, yelled over the fact that I am a mother of two children, have two degrees and as a teacher, that is two weeks of my pay that I could not afford to lose. They do not care, they just want your money. It truly is so so sad. Please learn from my mistake.

The site looked like it was from the hotel in Carlsbad, ca. Booked 2 nights for $220 per night. Ran my credit card through with a zero balance on card. Was declined. Ran another card and it was declined. Then my phone was going off with the fraud alerts from my banks. Saw a $210 charge for fees and services if I had went through with the booking. I canceled the transaction. Called the phone number on the site. They mentioned they were a 3rd party authorized to deal with the hotel.
We ended up booking with the hotel directly.
What a scam company!
