Hosted a gymnastics meet only to have workers complain of kids doing GYMNASTICS in the lobby away from everyone. No one was getting hurt or damaging anything. The bar area had more noise than the gymnasts kids playing and socializing. On top of that we had a worker state "they need to have shoes on because it's unsafe" but yet we were on the 7th floor with a window that opened to where you could fall out. The only thing holding that window from fully opening was a small bolt that wasn't even screwed in all the way. But kids playing without shoes is "unsafe". It's ridiculous to have a comment like that when you need to get your hotel in order and make it safe to all people, not just kids. And for the price to stay there…at least get the corrosion and what looked to be rust out of the shower. It was disgusting to say the least. Won't ever stay there again.

There is no help, no guidance, shuffle is always late so you're doomed if you have to get to the airport on time. There was so much noise outside in the alleyway but also on the floor, so much so that my son and I were traveling alone and I put something against the door as well as I slept on the foot of the bed so I could see if anybody stopped outside the door. I did not feel very safe and the next morning when I asked about my son getting part of the buffet breakfast as we were leaving to catch a fight which is included in the room fare, I was told that they could not accommodate that and then the clerk turned away from us and all we saw for the next 30 minutes until the shuttle arrived was his butt crack.

Due to the escalating flood situation around Townsville at the weekend, we checked out at 7.30am on Sunday, a day earlier than we were meant to, leaving a note with the key cards explaining our situation. If we did not leave Townsville at that time, we would have been flood bound for several days. I also phoned reception when they opened.
I have requested to have the unused nights accommodation credited to a future booking at the end of March. I was told this was not possible because of a 24 hour cancellation policy, and that we gave insufficient time to have the room cleaned.
So much for showing compassion at a time when many people are flood bound.

Didn't read my instructions I had put down for window room because I was claustrophobic. And rudely said to me come back at 2 and check in. Teach the white people of your hotel to stop being racist and putting all coloured people to the back of the hotel. In any case I book every week with this hotel. But won't be booking here anymore. I would not recommend nor use this website again. The additional fee was not listed with the advertised price and only showed up after the payment had been processed. There is no way to cancel without losing even more money. Customer service has been silent after multiple emails and requests for help. Completely unfair and unacceptable!

We stayed here 2 weekends ago.with our girls' hockey team. We called the RCMP 3 times during the night for 2 separate guests who were under the influence and banging on doors and yelling profanities down the hallway. At 3 AM I was awoken by noises of a female getting beat up on the floor above me. We had zero sleep and felt hugely unsafe. The room doors don't have safety latches on them. There was only 1 staff member on at all times day and night - they apparently kept allowing the offenders to come back in and never called the police themselves. In addition the shower didn't drain but I was told there was nothing they could do about that. Also the overhead hinge on the room door pulled off and was hanging down so the door could only be opened 1/2 way - again I was told there was nothing they could do about it. To top it off, management has completely ignored all attempts at discussing the deplorable stay and hence this review. Do NOt stay here.

The hotel failed to meet customer expectations during our two-day stay. The elevators were out of service for an entire day, leaving us stranded on the 25th floor until they eventually arranged access to the staff lifts after 2-3 hours. Additionally, there were no vegetarian food options available, which was highly disappointing.

I booked a stay for New Years Eve on November 20th. When we arrived at the hotel, I was told that the credit card provided by guestreservations.com was declined. I had to pay for the room at the hotel again (even though guestreservations.com already took my payment out of my account) and was advised that I had to get a refund from guestreservations.com. Seven days later, they are still looking into it!

We booked last minutes. We checked, went and ate came back to a woman laying in the parking lot and cops had to be called due to it being a DV incident. It smelled like someone was smoking weed all around. The tv didn't hardly work. The floors were still dirty. There are soft spots all in the floors. The a/c sucks. They wouldn't supply extra pillows. Then at midnight we heard stomping upstairs all night.

A complete lack of empathy and understanding. My child became sick with a contagious virus and rather than doing the right thing and doing a refund, they elected to hold true to their no cancellation policy which would force us to show up and risk the other guests of the hotel to contract the virus. Obviously, we elected to not put anyone at risk and stayed home but it's unfortunate that they would put people in the position that they need to choose. No regard for the guests staying at the hotel or me. Makes my choice of accommodations when in ac much easier, it won't be there

Extremely disappointed with my experience on my arrival I was told that I would not be able to use the pool or the restaurant they will be closed the holidays. How can that happen? I was looking forward for a few days of relaxation by the pool with my daughter. The room was extremely dirty. The refrigerator smell. The only cups compensation I got was a cheap fruit platter and $30 off my bill unbelievable.! I would not recommend this hotel for anyone and I would never come back..
I really thought that I was making a reservation at the hotel website. I opted for a refundable reservation but it was only after I paid with a credit card, that the real price was quoted with taxes, amounting to twice the price that I would have paid with Booking. They did not send me any e mail with a reservation number and a confirmation code. Pls cancel my booking and refund Amount ASAP.

The site makes booking easy, but looks as if you were booking directly at the desired hotel. The costs look as on other platforms. Only after you have approved the credit card payment it shows that 50% fees have been added. I am not sure whether this is legal, here in Europe it isn't. The total charge has to be shown before payment.
On Monday I made a booking for a room at Radisson Blu Bordeaux. The booking system said that there has been a network error and that I had to repeat the booking process. I waited for 10-15 minutes, checked my credit card account and my emails and as there has been no entry, I repeated the booking process. Immediately after that I received two confirmations, had two charges on my credit card and therefore tried to inform guestreservations that I had a double booking, but could not reach them via email. I already tried 3 times via their website (email sent successfully). They state that their fees are amongst others for 24/7 support. I haven't had any support within 5 days.

I thought I was making a booking on Johari Rotana but it was Guest Reservations. While the rates were okay, I was charged an extra 428 USD they called Taxes and service fee, more than double the hotel rates. I tried calling their help line and it was a machine with no option to speak to a person. Cancellation was not an option as cancellation fee was also exorbitant - over 200 USD. My advise, ensure you are booking directly on the hotel website.

I had a medical procedure & had to stay over. Pagoda hotel was dirty, someone stole items from my room & there were roaches everywhere. I couldn't change rooms. The staff had NO extra blankets or comforter- only sheets. I was afraid to sleep there & checked out early

Guest Reservations makes the process of reserving a hotel room easy. But, BEWARE if you are using them for a business trip. It is impossible to obtain a receipt that will pass muster for most financial auditing. The hell really begins when you try to contact Guest Reservations to request a "folio receipt". No matter what number you call, you end up at an AI voice system that is seriously, or entirely, devoid of the "I" in AI. Only two options, past or future reservations, if past, only option is to receive an email receipt which will not pass muster. The voice system has no other options. There is no way of reaching a human who can parse your request. Try the hotel and they will (after much effort on your part), tell you that the booking was made using Expedia (it is actually some shadowy corporation called hotelvalues. Call Expedia, and they refer you to the hotel (not their reservation, but at least you can get to a human who explains things). Track down your credit card or bank charge and get a new number. Back to AI lacking I hell.
Thus, once again: Business travelers, BEWARE. You do not want to use this company. It will cost you hours of sheer hell that will be unfruitful.
