I purchased beautiful final sale dresses at jj house always had a wonderful shopping experience excellent customer service. I have been a customer for several years and would highly recommend jj house to my friends and family.
Declared value invoice was $18. Dress cost $180. Resulted in $200 customs fine I had to pay to get dress released from customs. Absolutely no reply from JJsHouse for 3 days on this. Either major fraud or honest mistake? EDIT: JJsHouse replied on my mail and promised to refund penalty.

UPDATE: After posting the review below with 3 stars, I was contacted immediately by Customer Services offering a full refund. This was more than was necessary; I was happy for them to just cover the cost of the alteration, as I do really like the dress. JJsHouse have therefore agreed to pay the alteration fee. They also followed up with a phone call. This seems like a company who really want their customers to be happy. I will order again.
I'll start with the good points. The dress was made within a day and delivered within the week which far exceeded expectations. I paid for a custom fit, and in general the dress fits, although it is too big on the bust (see bad points). I do intend to keep and wear the dress once altered. The quality of the dress is generally good and it is fully lined. Also the customer service team were great at addressing my questions and concerns before purchase.
The negative points... The dress is too big on the bust. It does actually fit at the widest point where I took the measurement but then it flares out towards the armpits and will need taking in. The 'cups' also extend up too high as though catering for a much larger cup size. I hope this will be easy to alter.
Other things to be aware of: people have mentioned the import VAT costs. I wasn't aware of them when ordering but feel this is my own fault and that I should have known this so I am not holding this against the company! What you should know though is that DHL put a £7 admin charge on top of the VAT as their handling fee (DHL pay the customs VAT charge on your behalf, then contact you to reclaim it, for which they charge this fee). So, a £57 dress, plus £17 custom fit fee, plus £17 delivery charge, plus £22 import tax including admin fee, ends up as quite a pricy dress. None of this is a reflection on JJsHouse, but something to be aware of.
In summary, I am glad I bought the dress as I couldn't find a bridesmaid dress for the wedding. The custom fit is not quite right but I think can be altered. The turnaround time was brilliant, the quality good, and the price overall comparable to the high street.

My daughter and I chose jjshouse cause of the so called good reviews. But this has been the biggest nightmare ever. My daughter never like to ware dresses. So Imagine how excited we all were when she said she was going to the prom in a dress. Long story short we order the dress on 04/10/14 and on the site it said if order that day we will have dress on the 23rd. We said it's cutting it close cause the prom is on the 25th. Now today is the 22 and they saying the dress wont be finished till the 24th. So I wrote to them since this their mistake by not haveing the dress here when they said (which by the way the admitted to the mistake) I wanted a refund. Ms. Chen writes me back that they are sending the dress and will compensate me 15% of the dress value. Now really you are going send me a dress I cant use plus 21.00 ( which is the 15% of the dress). Are you kidding me?!?! I was told they need to pay the dressmaker, labor cost and fabric. Thats not my problem... your mistake, your problem... which you admitted that it was youR mistake. I WANT MY MONEY BACK. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!

Ordered three bridesmaid dress all came well made and to size. Also ordered swatches wich had free shipping and came very quickly.
I admit when I first looked at the website I loved the look of everything. But I soon found out it was the biggest mistake ever ordering from there. I found a pair of shoes and they were meant to be for me for my wedding. The price didn't seem to bad but the shipping cost was extreme. And in no way doable. You have 2 options for shipping first one standard delivery 6-8 days to all major destinations! £15! Then you had the expedited shipping at £17 which take 3-6 days. I had a dress fitting within 2 weeks of my order of the shoes. I paid £17 for the expedited shipping, so after 5 days I checked my order status to find it saying still processing so I begun to panic. Sent them a message asking what's happening with my order. While we were messaging they put my order on hold! The. Told me I wouldn't receive my order for at least 3 weeks! I'm disgusted with the customer service and the company. They kept telling to use my shoes for my next occasion! I told them I can't do that as they are meant for my WEDDING day so they won't have any use after! So I after I asked how much longer would my order take as they had put it on pause they proceeded to tell me that they had no stock! So it would now take even longer. So in the end I said to cancel my order and I wanted a full refund for all the stress and time wasted as now I had to go shoe hunting again in time for my wedding dress fitting! At first they tried to argue and were being very avaisive. I proceeded to say I would be seeking advice elsewhere. After trying to give me silly discounts like 5% coupon which I said back that I had no need for because I'm never ordering from JJs house again! I got a full refund back after a week long of messages back and forth.
My main point was to them that their shipping is extremely misleading as they told me most of their products take around 3 weeks to be delivered! So why they have the 2 delivery options of 3-6 days@ £17 and 6-8 days@£15 I don't know. I have told them they are giving false information and it's very misleading unfortunately they didn't seem to care. Avoid this company!
I ordered a dress on January 30th 2022 and on February 25th it still has not been shipped. It was not delivered in 10 days as advertised.

They claim a "worry free" return policy but then demanded pictures. The problem was size and i was requesting an exchange, not even a refund. So i proceed to take pictures of myself with my chest squished in the dress to prove it didnt fit and the link they sent would not accept the pics for some reason. I explained this and AGAIN waited 24 for another response. They responded that i must hit the "search" button in the link and no refund without pics. So now being day 3 or so I go back and look for so called "search" button, which what a surprise, does not exist. So i oroceed to write back to them and now their response comes back on day 5 that pics must be summited within 7 days or no refund. I SIMPLY WANTED TO EXCHANGE FOR A LARGER SIZE. So i have given uo with this exchange and will take the dress and PAY to get it altered so i have it in time for early October wedding. It is ridiculous to assume every problem can be shown in a pic and also They should fix their site to work if thats the only way they are going to give you to communicate with them. No phone # No direct email/chat and no address to send returns. **Did i mention the return link didnt work so i had to go thru "Contact us" instead and kept being redirected to return link several times before they gave me any assistance at all?**
I must say, other than a cheap zipper, the dress is nice but you better be VERY sure you wont need a return

First time using this website to buy for flower girl dresses. I bought three items. A lingerie, a size 8 flower girl dress and a size 4 flower girl dresses. They shipped these items in two separate packages. The first packaged that I received was a lingerie and a size 8 dress however they're website said that the first package should have the lingerie and the size 4 flower girl dresses. The next packaged that I received was I am pretty sure a samsung screen glass protector because my husband and I were wondering on who ordered it because no one of us has samsung galaxy. So I threw all the shipping boxes and I threw the samsung glass protector coz I thought we didn't buy it so why do we have to keep it? Then when I checked online later on that day, the website said the second package which was the size 4 flower girl dress was delivered... but I didn't receive any of the item? So I contacted the costumer service and they were asking me a bunch of what's the weigth of the shipping box? What's the barcode of the item? Maybe it's in your neighborhood bunch of crap. Those things that they are asking me which I dont have because who in the right mind weigth a package and keep a box? I didn't receive any barcode of the dress. They sent wrong items and won't refund me for that one dress that they know for sure didn't ship. I fall for this scam so please people stay away from This website. I dont recommend this website at all. Please dont fall for this scam. Thank you. This website has scammed hundreds and thousands of people worldwide. I'm not the only one who has a worse experience from this website. Hopefully my reviews will stop some of you to be a victim because I was one of them. Pictures were the items I received and the size 4 flower girl is missing.

This is a pretty special case for us. Your order has split to two packages: One includes a bra and a flower girl dress in size 4; The other one includes a flower girl dress in size 8. These two dresses were sent from two different warehouses. It is impossible for us to mix these two dresses up. But you mentioned that you had received only one package within a bra and a flower girl dress in size 8. As we mentioned in the mail, we need some necessary pictures to investiigate further. It is particularly helpful for us to check the tag of the flower girl dress you received. It's a small sticker on the inner bag, on which you could find item ID, color, size, etc.
As to the samsung glass screen protector, we have contacted the delivery company and the logistic department to make a serious investigation. We will definitely give our customers a settlement as soon as the survey results come out. It will be appreciated if you could send us the pictures of the samsung glass screen protector you received.

I ordered a dress on January 24,2020 for my son's wedding. It was guaranteed to be shipped out by 2/25/20. On 2/27 it still was not shipped. I have to relay my concerns through a chat with a fake person, with a fake Americanized name and a model photo. I told that my order would not be sent to me until 3/25/20, due to the Corona Virus. I told them to cancel it because that was after my son'e wedding Day on March 14. I was assured that it would be cancelled and that I would hear from "My manager" within 24 hours. Two days later I chatted again, stressed that I needed my refund ASAP to buy another dress (from who knows where) for my son's wedding. I was once again assured that the "manager" would contact me in 24 hours. It is now Three days later. ANOTHER CHAT, another promise to call within 24 hours. But on this call I learned that 1.) the factory is operating again. 2.) They have 6,000 claims 3.) My order is NOT cancelled! It can only be cancelled by the manager... who will call in 24 hours. For all of the people who are telling you not to listen to bad reviews... SHAME ON THEM! There should be a way to cancel an order, or a system put in place for delayed shipment after the event that a person ordered the dress for... this is a typical scam. If they do not cancel the order, and I get the dress aft4er the wedding, because it is a "custom order" I will not get my money back. It is wrong and it is shady!
My advice, start looking at all the sales at all of the stores the minute the engagement is announced, don't order from this company to "save money". I called Pay Pal and registered a claim, thank goodness for Pay Pal.

Oh I wish I could put 0 stars. Disappointed and angry. I ordered a dress on 19th of March and it was due to arrive on 2nd of April. It's 10th of April and it still hasn't arrived. I have a wedding to attend since I am a bridsmaid and the worst part is they keep lying about the location of my parcel. They keep saying it's with the shipping courier but when I contacted the shipping courier the said that they haven't recieved anything at all. Then I texted them again and they kept saying the same thing and saying ALL COURIERS ARE EXPERIENCING DELAYS but that's a massive lie because I have been shopping for the past 3 weeks since I am going on holiday and they arrive within 5 days maximum even the ones I have bought from SHEIN. SHEIN is located in China as well but they are really reliable. This company is a total fraud. They actually are a fraud and they are such big liars. Please don't buy from them or you will miss your event and be so so disappointed. I have anxiety and this is messing with my head but they still lie to me instead of fixing the issue. Shame on you.
