I purchased beautiful final sale dresses at jj house always had a wonderful shopping experience excellent customer service. I have been a customer for several years and would highly recommend jj house to my friends and family.
Declared value invoice was $18. Dress cost $180. Resulted in $200 customs fine I had to pay to get dress released from customs. Absolutely no reply from JJsHouse for 3 days on this. Either major fraud or honest mistake? EDIT: JJsHouse replied on my mail and promised to refund penalty.
It took forever to receive the item. It was average quality I returned ASAP a month later no credit

Please, I warn you. Do not buy from JJsHouse. They do not accept returns and their product quality is very poor.
I ordered two bridesmaid dresses from them. I paid almost $35 in shipping. When the dresses came I was also told by UPS that I had to pay a $47.50 brokerage fee (something to do with customs and the package coming from China). I was shocked since I had already paid so much in shipping. So factor an additional, outrageous shipping/brokerage fee into your order and now the price of your dress or item goes significantly up.
When I opened the package I was very disappointed. The color was totally misrepresented. My lilac dresses were pink. The material was also of poor quality and the cut & tailoring very poor (for example, the "tea length" dress was basically to the floor and I'm 5'7"). My sister, the bride, was very disappointed with the dresses and we decided to return them.
EXCEPT JJSHOUSE DOES NOT ACCEPT RETURNS. WHAT? Since this company is in China, they only offer "customer service" via email. Their first response to me asking to return the dresses was "We are afraid that return is unacceptable." I sent more emails to them and each time got excuses and my concerns about the dresses were brushed off completely. They even told me "We hope you could know that two dress makers have spent days and nights preparing the dresses for you, putting much time and energy on the dresses. With all the respect to their hard work, we sincerely hope you could kindly keep the dresses." Seriously? I don't care. I didn't order customized dresses, so these could go to anyone. I'm not happy with the product and thus, should be able to return it. I can't even imagine an American company being so deceitful with their return policy and then not accepting any returns. I would never deal with this company or another Chinese company directly again. By the way, their final solution was a 20% refund of the price I paid with me keeping the dresses. I didn't want that. I want a 100% refund and to return the dresses. There goes a couple hundred dollars down the drain as I'll be donating these dresses.
So again, I warn you do not buy from JJsHouse. Their product quality is poor and if you are unhappy for any reason, they will not let you return the item. Please, save yourself time, money, and a headache and go elsewhere.

When I was a girl, my mother and I would often sew, and when I was a teenager I had already picked out the "perfect" pattern for a wedding dress, someday. Things don't always turn out as we've planned. Sometimes they turn out better!
When I finally found the man I was going to spend the rest of my life with, I started looking at dresses in excitement. Just as the universe had brought Robert and I together, I think it brought me to JJs Dresses too.
It had been more than 20 years since I had found that "perfect" pattern for a wedding dress, and I still had it, but I truly felt I would regret not buying this one I was so drawn to.
I thought about tradition, and that maybe I should order a traditional color. I pictured the dress in white, and it just didn't have the same pull. My cousin was about to get married in India and she wasn't going to wear white, so I began learning about other culture's traditions. After Robert and I asked the priest who was going to marry us about the color, and he approved, there was no turning back!
I was skeptical about ordering a dress rather than making my own. I'm almost 6 inches taller than the model, but I followed the directions on taking measurements, and when the dress arrived it was perfect! I was so happy that everything fit. I hadn't decided on shoes until I received the dress, but it really was made for two inch heels. I left the dress hanging on on a hanger for an entire 6 weeks, but it was packed well and would have been fine if it was only a couple days. The only thing I really had to do before the wedding, where the dress was concerned, was have someone zip me up!:)
I believe the most important people in a wedding, are the people getting married. On July 26,2014, I married the man I love, in a dress I love, in a color I love.

I bought a bolero scarf on JJs House for my friends wedding where Im going to be a bridesmaid. Something I had to regret deeply after. The payment of 412 SEK went through but I never got a confirmation on the payment or any order confirmation! I contacted customer service hoping they would help me and find the payment and send the product since I sent them evidence of that the payment went through, but to my surprise and disappointment they only responded that it could take a few days since its a foreign payment… So there I was waiting and waiting. No update, so I logged into my JJs page today, only to see that they had CANCELED my order WITHOUT telling me! No email no nothing! Wow! I lack words to describe how BAD this customer service is! I still haven't received my money back and they haven't updated me.
So I would have waited on their response and never received the product and missed it. Since I am going to be a bridesmaid for my friends wedding wouldn't been able to wear the dress without this bolero scarf (for modesty reasons). UNBELIEVABLE for being a shop who sells clothes for something so IMPORTANT like wedding clothes! Who has to be ALL about timing! If I could find this particular product somewhere else I would have never EVER shopped here again. I'm so angry and disappointed in JJsHouse for not finding my payment nor informing me or giving me any updates on that my order was canceled. FIX your technical issues and get an better overlook of all your payments then get better customer service and them maybe it would go better for you!
Gladly, I can get my money back by making a police report and then claim my money back via my bank - which I will do! Will never shop with them again after this!

After this review, i got contacted by JJshouse. After some e-mail, they came with a solution which i'm really happy about. Even though we are still not so happy about the dress, we are happy about the customers service, and the solution. Its shows us that even the product didn't meet the customers expectation, they are willing to help or even refund to satisfy a customers. That kind of behavior is very professional and worth (in my opinion) 2 more stars.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
I wanted to buy a nice dress for my mother for my wedding. After some search i ended up with JJshouse, and decided to buy it here. Boy do i regret that decision.
When the package shows up, i was charged with a COD of 40 EUR. Turns out to be customs fee. Not really their fault, but still a nice headup would been nice. Only headup was at the FAQ page, and i for one never read the FAQ page.
My mother tried the dress, and turns out the armpit area was way to small. She cant even lift her arm without the dress cutting in her flesh, and she cant even move her arms without being in pain. We had her size measured by a professional tailor so only so little can go wrong, and somehow they got it wrong.
We complained, but all they can offer was 40% refund and keep the dress or full refund but have to send the dress back and pay the shipping cost myself.
In the end, we are forced to choose between wasting 160 EUR and correct the dress which will cost me atleast 40 - 50 EUR or wasting 70 EUR (customers fee + shipping cost) for absolutely nothing. It wasnt even our fault to beging with. We send the right measurement and they made the dress to small.
So advice to future buys, DONT DO IT. It will only cost you money and precious time and you probably wont be happy at the end.

I ordered 3 dresses and a lace jacket. The jacket and one of the dresses were silver. NOT! The dress came in some ugly color, and the closest was champagne, but not exactly. The jacket color was exactly what I expected.
I have now bought a dress from ´site. They first offerded 15%back. I said no thank you, then I got 50% offer back, but I wanted 75%
Now I have seen in rewiews thet you got 100% refund, so I am even more dissapointed.
Now a new person stepped in in the conversation and se offered 35% since my dress was a ' chep dress'.
Dont by anything from JJHouse. They send what they want and call it what colour they want.

I did eventually get a refund after a couple of weeks of effort and 17 emails conversations later, including having to threaten to expose their unethical practices. They started really responding to me after I posted my negative review on Sitejabber. I want to encourage JJsHouse to consider changing their return procedures, which are time intensive and represent terrible customer service. Their stated policy on their web site is..."JJ's House will issue a full refund of the cost of the returned product if you are not satisfied with your item(s). The item must be returned in its original condition within 7 days of its arrival to you (if eligible per the return policy)."
1. I tried on my dress right away, thankfully, as they only give you 7 days to let them know if you are not happy with your purchase. I believe 30 days is customary for most returns. I emailed (as per their directions on their web site) and let them know I needed to return the dress as it was too small.
2. They emailed me back a boilerplate email asking for a photo of the problem.
3. I let them know I was not going to send a photo of me wearing a dress that was too small, to please send directions on how to return.
4. I got another boilerplate email.
5. I then emailed them an threatened to report them for fraud and posted my review on Sitejabber.
6. I quickly got a response with directions on where and how to mail my item, which is a processing center in the U.S.
7. Only after I mailed it did they tell me I had to have my tracking number from the post office, fortunately for me I did.
8. They continuously asked me to remove my bad review from Sitejabber, I said I would consider it once my refund was processed.
9. They indicated the item had not been received.
10. I checked my tracking number and forwarded the receipt confirming information showing that in fact it had been received by their processing center.
11. They then sent me a screen shot of something indicating they had processed my refund. My credit card report showed no such refund for a few more days.
12. I did ultimately get my refund. As well as multiple continued emails asking me to update or remove my negative review on Sitejabber.
There were multiple twists and turns that indicate to me that they JJsHouse was doing everything possible to deny a refund for something I can not use, despite their policy. I hope in the future they will rethink their process. In the mean time, you know how to get a refund if you're highly motivated.

Actually our return policy means "Customer who want to return items should contact our customer service within 7 days after receiving the parcel". We know that our expression is not very accurate. It has caused misunderstanding. So we have changed the way to express the policy.

I ordered a dress from JJsHouse. First, be aware they give you 7 days to request a return after you receive your item. I contacted them after 4. The first step is to email them and "request" a return and give a reason. Pretty simple, the dress does not fit. Now they would like me to "take a picture" of the problem. WHAT?! I've never heard of such a thing. Sounds like a tactic to drag on a process until the customer gives up. Unless you are totally sure you won't return an item be prepared to lose your money.
I have continued to communicate with JJs - confirmed they received the dress at their processing center. Waiting for my refund as promised in their refund policy posted on their website.

I ordered my mother a custom dress from JJsHouse. I had a seamstress take the measurements EXACTLY where their site told you to take them. I ordered shoes to match and a purse to match the shoes. ALL IN CHAMPAGNE! The shoe conversion chart was WAY off and the shoes are too tight for my mother. The purse is a champagne PINK, which doesn't match the shoes at all. The dress is too tight under my mom's arms and the hem is unfinished and looks like a child cut it, with different lengths and actually a cut mark where they made a mistake and then cut below the cut line! HORRIBLE! I also paid so much more money to have more of the black applique, just in case my mother thought the v-neck was too low. The company makes you order way more then you actually would need but they won't sell you anything less then a yard! THEN when I went to UPS to pick up the package after paying SO much money for shipping I had to pay an additional $68 for brokerage fees from customs! I was NEVER told any of that. I was so disappointed in EVERY aspect of the final outcome of my order. I now have to go and buy ANOTHER dress for my mother. SO disappointed! I would't reccomend this company to anyone! I will be contacting my credit card company as to make sure I don't have to pay for something that is so horribly made!
