I purchased beautiful final sale dresses at jj house always had a wonderful shopping experience excellent customer service. I have been a customer for several years and would highly recommend jj house to my friends and family.
Declared value invoice was $18. Dress cost $180. Resulted in $200 customs fine I had to pay to get dress released from customs. Absolutely no reply from JJsHouse for 3 days on this. Either major fraud or honest mistake? EDIT: JJsHouse replied on my mail and promised to refund penalty.
No way will these be worn at my wedding, they look dated like they are from the 50's. The ruffles are upside down and the material is so cheap. Of course they will not take them back, wish I never ordered them. This so called business is shady!

Trying on Mother of the Groom dresses was made easy at home. Since there are not a lot of stores in our area- this option was a treat! Quick turn-around when ordering. All the dresses I tried on where true to size and well made! I bought the dress and can't wait for my son's big day!

I had ordered a red gown from them and had sent in my measurements as per the site. With specific instructions. I cant tell you how pleased i was. They even sent me an email with a picture of the fabric with indoor an outdoor lighting just to make sure that was the shade of red requested. When it arrived it was beautifully packaged and fit absolutely perfectly.
Caveat: Order early. They almost always have a holiday they celebrate..

You'd think that for $100 or more on average per dress that you'd get something that looks nice and is rewrearable.
Not a JJ's House! The tag on the dress I received read as follows: "Do not wash, Do not dry clean" and while I know spot-cleaning is the only raining option, how on earth am I supposed to get $100 worth of wear out of a dress that I cannot clean?
The fabric quality is also absolutely atrocious, it's like the entire thing was made of lining fabric, with no care taken as to whether things were cut on-grain, or if the seams were pressed or even.
The sizing charts are also more like suggestions, as the dress I purchased did not fit me even though I was very careful to follow the chart with correct measurements. I'm lucky I know how to sew with delicate fabric or else I'd be up a creek.
Save your time and money, shop elsewhere.

After many e-mails back and forth with this company and several uncomplimentary reviews by me, I was promised a full refund without having to return the item. I look forward to receiving that refund and will then be satisfied with their service and how things were eventually resolved.
They are offering me a full refund if I change my review. So this is me changing my review. My biggest issue was that their refund policy seemed extra difficult and all I was getting from them was canned answers. Then they saw my review on site jabber and they contacted me to offer a full expedited refund. I can say tho in all honesty the dress was beautiful and the website is very easy to use.
Tip for consumers:
When you measure maybe give a little more for the chest area. My Chest area isnt even that big but the dress was still too snug in that area. The waist seemed a bit bigger then what I measured. Also keep in mind this will take a while to ship as it comes from China and I think they make your dress when you place the order, its not hanging on a hanger waiting to ship.

I ordered one bridesmaid gown from this site to see if the quality would be okay and it was absolutely gorgeous! The material and craftmanship was very high quality! I am having my 5 other bridesmaids order the exact same gown for my wedding! Hopefully all goes well and there are no issues with the ordering of the remaining dresses.
I love JJ's House website. It is so easy to shop for exactly the style and color of dress you need for any occasion. The option to try on at home before you buy is genius concept. I ordered three different styles of dresses to make sure which one fit and gave me the look I wanted for my son's wedding. It took out all the a hassle of finding that perfect dress. Don't be afraid of ordering the No Return sample gowns. I ordered one and it was every bit as beautiful for $50 as the other more expensive ones. Be sure about your size (I found the gowns run small.) Since you can't get a refund. On another order - it arrived too late - and the refund was slow. Lost $40 with the re-stocking fee even though the gown was never taken out of the box. So be sure when you are ordering.

I live in a small town with few shopping options. I needed a dress for my son's wedding. I was hesitant to order online, but the try on option made it less stressful. I chose 3 dresses that I loved. They arrived quickly. I ultimately decided to keep and purchase the one that looked best on me. The return process was easy. I want to use JJ's House for my wedding party and they have been fantastic. I ordered colour samples from them as the colours online look different from the actual thing. They came quickly and didn't cost the earth. Fabric is lovely and good quality. I have already placed an order for three more dresses. I will definitely be using them again in the future.

I can say tho in all honesty the dress was beautiful and the website is very easy to use
I recently ordered from this company, my dress just arrived on 07/21, however the dress is damaged on upper part, most of the laces have open edges and lose thread all over and some of the sequins are lose and hanging.
I have reached out to then in order to resolve the situation, what the have offered is a 20% discount or a 25 % discount for upcoming orders.
First of all why shall I order from them again when I having problem with my very first order.
I still waiting to hear from them therefore I will keep you updated about any changes.

In 2011 ordered a prom dress (matric farewell in South Africa) that was absolutely perfect, bead work and overall quality excellent. This year(2013) I ordered a wedding dress for my niece. Beautifully made and fitted perfectly. Bead work professional and very neat. I'm really surprised to see all these negative reviews
After finally getting an agreement from JJsHouse for them to give me a refund for the defective item. They have recieved the item back days ago. They are now refusing to return my money until i remove my review with photos as proof from site jabber. Basically blackmailing me and withholding my refund. Totally illegal within Europe.
The inside of the dress is well made, but they really did a lazy job on the lace, not to mention the poor quality of the lace itself. The fit around the arms on the upper body is pretty bad.
JJsHouse provides you with all necessary wedding and special occasion products. Everything is high quality, customer support is helpful and friendly, I am very satisfied with this website and will definitely choose them for future events.
So, my wedding dress arrived and it is a perfect fit. They took all of my extra measurements and customization requests in consideration, with the result being exactly what I wanted. I will definitely order more dresses from them; forwarding extra measurements was really really worth it and will become standard procedure for me.
I had been eyeing wedding dresses on jjshouse for a while and finally decided to order a test dress (just an occasion type dress, not a wedding dress) to check out the quality and the service. I ordered a custom size as I am only 157 cm / 5'2'' so a standard size wouldn't be a good fit length- and proportion-wise, because they are made for much taller women than me (having said that, I urge anyone to look carefully at the sizing chart, including the hollow-to-floor values, before they order; I see far too many pictures of women who simply underestimated the factor of height - even though they seem to love their dresses either way; I'm just saying, if you want it to look like the picture and not like something you borrowed from your big sister, make sure the length is right). I submitted every measurement that was required in the online form (bust, waist, hips, height and hollow-to-floor).
When the dress came, I was impressed with the quality of the fabrics and the workmanship. I had read reviews where people had commented that the dresses feel heavy and not like some cheap material, and I got to experience that myself. I could tell that all of my measurements had been used and the dress was true to order, as well as true to advertisement. There was just one little problem: the zipper couldn't really go past the area of the rib cage, right under the breasts (although it would have closed above that area, had it been able to get past it). See, they only require bust, waist, and hips in terms of circumference measurements, but not underbust (right beneath your breasts, where you measure the band of your bra), which means that based on the bust and waist, they estimate a cup size and a rib cage circumference, but that's not a very reliable method without the underbust measurement. They must have estimated a B or C cup, whereas I am a humble A. Either way, this was the only problem with the dress.
I contacted them and explained the problem in a civil and cooperative manner (I mention this as I think it can go a long way), understanding that objectively it was nobody's fault. The dress had been made to measure, to the best of their knowledge. Even though I do think that the underbust measurement should be included in the requirements for a perfect fit, I realize that every wedding dress website or designer house I've seen requests that specific set of measurements and no more.
They responded on the next day and a couple messages (and photos) later, they offered a sizable partial refund, which was promptly initiated and I got the money on my account only few days later. This money is enough to get the back widened just enough (and I live in Switzerland, so services are expensive).
In the meantime I did proceed with the order of my wedding dress, making sure to contact the pre-sales chat, explain the detail with the underbust size and make sure they pass it on (though I naturally also included this information in the special comments field upon ordering). I also wanted to make the dress a little bit shorter than pictured and after placing the order, I had the order processing team contact me to inform me they were holding the order for a bit to check with the dressmakers whether the dress can be made according to my requests. A day later they confirmed the order. I am mentioning this as it showed me that they aren't just blindly promising whatever a customer requests, but instead make sure it's executable. It shows integrity in my book.
Now I'm waiting for my wedding dress to arrive, and will comment again. Sure enough, stakes are high this time around. I really want to make this whole thing work as I am in love with many of their designs and plan on ordering more dresses in the future, provided I experience a proper fit.
P.S. Forgot to mention: I needed to pay customs fees/taxes when the parcel got to the border which made the dress a bit more expensive. Shipment was with DHL, I had selected the express service (and generally DHL don't guarantee that all taxes and customs fees will be covered in the case of the express service, I know this from experience with ordering stuff from the States). Just something to keep in mind.
I had difficulty choosing from the hundreds of lovely dresses and colours but eventually order a cocktail dress made to measure. I was a little worried if it would fit but when it came I was delighted as my additional specification for length had been incorporated into the design. I'm not considering which dress to buy next.
The shoes were beautiful and it matched perfectly with my dress... in addition, it was very comfortable... I was able to wear it thru out our wedding ceremony and reception. One of the shiny stuff on the bow tie came off when I was dancing... but no big deal it can be glued back..

They have the worst customer service. I had ordered a bridesmaid dress from here for my friends wedding. It didn't fit right so I returned it. They don't have a working # and the only way to talk to anyone is through chat, and they apparently don't have access to your orders over chat so then a ticket gets put in. I had to go back and forth 15 times to get my dress returned and refunded correctly. Dont order from them they are based in Hong Kong and clearly don't know what the $#*! they are doing and try to rip you off any chance they can get!

I am yet to receive this item, customer service has been so unhelpful and I've dealt with a different person every time. The tracking number provided shows the item as delivered and signed for but doesn't say who signed for it. I currently am left without a wedding dress and having to do some last minute shopping because I trusted other reviews on their website.
