I purchased beautiful final sale dresses at jj house always had a wonderful shopping experience excellent customer service. I have been a customer for several years and would highly recommend jj house to my friends and family.
Declared value invoice was $18. Dress cost $180. Resulted in $200 customs fine I had to pay to get dress released from customs. Absolutely no reply from JJsHouse for 3 days on this. Either major fraud or honest mistake? EDIT: JJsHouse replied on my mail and promised to refund penalty.
Before purchasing 3 dresses the chat agent told me I could return my order if they didn't fit or the style was not right for the event. After, placing the order I received an email and message on the app asking which one was I actually going to keep…. I purchased standard sizes and styles, nothing custom made. Very upset with their customer service.

Unable to be reached by phone. Frustrating, infuriating and awful business practices

My experience with this site was wonderful. I found a wedding dress on jjshouse that I liked better than anything else I had seen in real life, and after agonizing for several months, I finally ordered it with custom tailoring. I'm so glad I did, it turned out absolutely beautiful. However, I have to add - the dress I wanted was a very simple, just ivory chiffon with no lace, beading, or frills. I also don't think it required a lot of tailoring as I am fairly skinny and average height. I was expecting it to take at least a month and the package arrived in ten days with barely a wrinkle in the dress! They also gave me a $30 credit after I wrote a review, which was awesome. Overall my experience was superb, but I did keep things very simple.
In the event of a cancellation, even prior to ship date, they somehow justify keeping 20% of your money. The communication with the company is complex and slow justifying pushing my cancellation past the 72-hour time frame. I will not be doing any additional business with this company as it seems cancellations are a profit center.

Horrible products & customer service is even worse. I ordered 2 pairs of shoes from this company only to have them send me shoes with glue all over the heels of both pairs of shoes and the soles coming up all over the place on both pairs. I also paid $20 extra for shipping that was not so speedy. Yet and still I only asked for a $20 refund which they did not agree to. Do not be fooled by the reviews on the site itself, I'm 99.9% sure they delete all bad reviews especially since after you submit one it says that they are monitored.
Find JJ house randomly looking for couples of dresses for my wedding. Their web page is easy to navigate and show you all the different options on size and colors on the particular dress you interested they got a try at home option so you can see before buying hows the fitment is going to be I did this the first time and them after feeling more confident with their fitment I decide to do a custom to my size, the dress came on time, quality is excellent, materials are nice will recommend %

I tried returning a dress that had damaged fabric when it arrived. After jumping through all the hoops of their return maze (submitting forms, sending photos, emails, etc.) the return was never accepted within the return window. Ridiculous and false promises with the return policy. They should just be honest and say no returns accepted!

We placed a special order according to my 11 year olds measurements. The dress is very nice quality and fits great! We don't need the dress until September so I left a little bit of room ro grow. The dress arrived 1 week earlier than anticipated! I will order from this company again for myself!

Hi, I didn't read any reviews before I ordered a dress. Good thing! It would have just made me worry, and I don't need that on top of planning a wedding in 45 days! I ordered on Sept. 2,2020, and the dress came yesterday Sept. 17,2020. Jjshouse makes their dresses from scratch, so the dress we received fits perfectly. Pretty awesome considering nothing fit at any of the bridal shops around here (Utah). Keeping in mind the dresses were made in China and shipped here. If you don't have 20 days to wait for a dress buy one off the rack and have it tailored. As for JJshouse dresses, totally worth the wait! I ended up with a beautiful, "made to order" dress at a reasonable price.

It is NOT a trust store at all. They sent me a dress that is damaged, has a very poor quality and several markings, which are clearly visible over all on the dress, particularly on the front side. I cannot wear this dress at all.
The dress costed 158. After an intensive exchange of messages, they offered a maximum refund of only 40%(ca. 62)!
Also, I had described this situation in my review at JJsHouse website and it is nowhere to be seen on their website. This explains the fact that you can only see positive reviews on their website.
Upon receiving 2 custom made bridesmaid dresses and being very disappointed with them, JJ's House was very quick to offer support and assistance in returning and refunding the money against their own return policy. The quality of the products definitely needs to be looked at but the service is fantastic.

Look through the fine print, it states that the company add on a cm or 2 to the measurements, hence alot of the reviews being that the sizing is wrong.

Provided all accurate requested measurements, and more sizing info in comments, when ordering a custom order dress. The custom dress was sewn beautifully, but was made about 3 sizes too big across bust and shoulders. The collar design means it can't be altered locally and even if it could, the alterations would be substantially expensive. It looks like the company wants to make things right. I wish the dress was right as it is quite a nice piece.

My dress is supposed to be a US 20 with all the measurements that entails. I got the dress today and it is a full 6 inches smaller on every measurement that they claim that it should be. I can take in, but I can't let out half a foot. Total waste of time and money. Now, I must search for another dress for my daughter's wedding next month.
Also, the champagne I got is very gold. I am not sure the color is correct. Super thin dress, cheap materials. Very dissatisfied with this purchase.

On the basis of that, the dress will allow for some stretching room for the wearer. However, you told us your dress is smaller. Ordered a dress for mother of the bride, pictures looked amazing. Paid extra fees for the additional shipping cost.
The dress arrived in a small bag, pulled so tightly that it was unbelievable. Who would ship an expensive gown in that tiny box, air must have been vacuumed out to shrink it down.
What a disappointment! So wrinkled and creases all over the gown!

Request dress in a bag and protect from vacuumed or air removal for the bag.
Since they requested additional shipping fees it should be done with quality and care of the merchandise.

I ordered a dress and matching skirt on this site to wear to a wedding. The dress had a few custom measurements about the waist but somehow they sent it cut at the wrong length? The skirt was reportedly delivered but I never received it. When I contacted them (multiple times) they refused to take responsibility and made me inquire with THEIR carriers. They offered a 40% discount - making me bear the brunt of a loss that was their duty to prevent. Now I'm out $330 with no outfit for my event. I will never give them business again!

Ok, this is rich. I called my credit card company to dispute the charge and when I explained the situation with the rep - without even hearing the name of the company - she goes, 'Is that JJ's House? My wedding was last year and they lost my dress twice and finally delivered the third time. Then they fought me on the refunds for the first two missing orders!' Apparently, this is a pattern with them.

I've read many reviews, most of them were very bad (I'm Dutch so don't mind my English). I'm writing this review because I want to help others on their search for the right dress. First of all, measure is key! Watch the video to mesure the right parts. Second, to avoid disappointment, read the instructions of the dress. You will read that some lace stay the same color as shown on the picture. I had my dress tailor made, it fits like a glove and the color is exactly like the picture. I'm very happy with my dress and will order from JJ's house again! I'll insert a picture (I hope this helps you to make a decision).
I ordered several pairs of ballroom shoes for a show. The order was processed quickly but the tracking number and subsequent emails name me think this is a scam. Shoes have not arrived, tracking number is not tracking anything and only a partial refund has been given instead of a full one seeing nothing has arrived. It's very disappointing. Questions about the whereabouts of the product were never clearly answered. Very little help was given in trying to find the products first, only offers of refunds.

The dress dis not resemble photo. I returned it, noting on website it said within 7 days. There was no return information in the package, only a returns address on the box. When I replied to an email saying I'd returned dress I had a rude email back informing me that I'd only receive 40% of a refund due to me not including a returns form with the dress which they would have sent. The process was completely unclear and I wonder if this is how they make their money because the dresses certainly won't.

I decided to send the EXACT measurements as requested for them to alter my dress. They basically took a dress too large for my frame and cut the h an inch above my ankles. So with shoes, it's 3" too short. The waist was not lifted so it looks ridiculous. Of course they would do nothing but send back a measly 20% for a dress that can not be worn and must be replaced! I would never shop here.

I purchased 3 wedding dresses and it took a month after payment for the dresses to be shipped. The dresses have still not been delivered and although I have given the company proof via royal mail who conformed in writing my order hasn't been delivered, they have still refused to give me a refund. Bought dress and returned the ff day and email the proof. I emailed again the proof fr canada post tracking that they received it april 19 2021 and now May 12 2021 they did not email me back and haven't received the refund yet. Upon writing this, i got email fr them at around 4:35 MT may 12, asking for order no after 2 follow ups. They are not true to their promise that refund will take to 5-10 days once they received the item!
