Horrible experience
October 26, 2018

First, you have to do their job on the reception. I guess they expect everyone to be computer literate. Secondly, if they have to assist anyone? Well, now they are more rude. And then, they discuss your financial business in front of everyone and even though you have insurance they will not do the test unless you pay some up front. I never heard of anything like this.

Beware!
October 26, 2018

When our family practice was owned by the drs, it was a wonderful place to go. All the medical staff was warm and caring. Since being taken over by Fryecare it has become a nightmare. When you go for your lab work, which is done by LABCORP, they will give you an estimate of what they think you will owe once your insurance pays and then they attempt to bully you into giving them a credit card, which they will keep on file to pay the amount your insurance does not pay. Today I saw them haress an older patient, that at the very least was mildly confused, to pay this amount. He offered to pay in cash but was told no "we need a credit card to put on file". He said his wife had one but she was in the car so he totters off to get her. While they did tell him that it was his choice, I'm pretty sure he felt obligated to provide one. When the wife comes in, she gives them the credit card and says she's never been asked to provide one before but they assure her this has been a practice for a long time now. While some people may want to do this, beware! Because if you have a problem it will take them months to correct it. I have my name along with my mother's on her checking account and when applying a check to her account, they marked through the note on the check that had the invoice # on it and rather than applying it to her account, applied it to mine, which had a zero balance. It took between 5 & 6 phone calls over several months and faxing them a copy of the canceled check, to get this cleared up. So really, do you want LABCORP to have the ability to charge your credit card before you have seen your EOB (explanation of benefits) from your insurance carrier? I don't think so!

First time it didn't hurt she was wonderful. She is one of the best phlebotomists I have ever experienced in my 30 years of having blood drawn. She was
Very professional and friendly and helped me stay very relaxed. I am very

The phlebotomist was so rude, there are no words to explain it! Lab Corp definitely doesn't care about their customer service or she wouldn't work there any longer! She had clearly no patience with disabled patients. Going to Quest next time! They care.

Just bad.
October 17, 2018

From the office staff to the patient portal where you're supposed to be able to see your test results, everything was just bad. I emailed them on not even being able to log on to their patient results site and after about 4-5 days I get a response that said I'd need to fill out a form and fax it to them with a govt issued ID to have them do it. Really? About 20 years behind the times in technology. Office was also understaffed as the person that checks you in also does the blood draw. Not their fault but this created a long wait for everyone and this doesn't seem like rocket science to have a receptionist as you'd be able to serve way more customers.

Awful!
October 13, 2018

They refused to do my lab because I have an old balance due that I'm disputing it with my insurance and no result until today.

As per the assistant there, if I pay $500 now, she can do my lab. (by the way, it's a regular blood test)

I called the supervisor Charlene and I told her that my doctor waiting for my test lab to follow up on my health and I have to do my lab asap.

She refused too. She said to call the billing department.

THE LIVING DEAD
October 12, 2018

If you don't believe in life after death go take a look at this hell hole-they are all dead.
Death is the only way to explain this level of incompetence.
They cannot manage a schedule -had an appointment and left me waiting for over an hour -finally I asked what was going on and was told that the check in kiosk didn't transfer any info. Finally got in 55 minutes late and after several attempts by 2 different 3rd stringers I left because they both failed at drawing blood. These people couldn't even make it as janitors at Dracula's castle. Try and find another source-any other will do.

After reading previous reviews was expecting to have a bad experience. I had a goof experience. Their were 2 employees who shared the experience of paperwork front desk checking but also were completing the lab work of patients who made an appearance on orders from their doctors. They were very Actually I was done before my appointment time. The 2 people who were working at this lab had previously worked at a Labcorp facility that move out of their location.and were now at this facility. My experience at the other lab where they previously I would spend 2 hours waiting just for simple bloodwork. Their labs seem to be under staffed which can cause a person to have a bad experience. So the one small facility of Labcorp in Port Richer Florida was a good experience.

Lobby is always empty when I come. This leaves the phlebotomist with idle hands. She hangs around the lobby, hovering here and there. I was checking in at the lobby kiosk today and she snached up my driver's license. I had both hands full just at that minute so she moved in front of me blocking the machine insisting that I take it immediately. I had to empty a hand and take it before she let me continue. At that point, the machine was in the process of timing out. I pointed out that it made things more difficult. They could not care less. They just asked each other how many licenses did we have last week that people left behind?

Dublin, OH Location
September 16, 2018

The location was hard to find, the door was locked when I arrived for my 7:30am appointment, the staff was not very nice. They asked if I had an appointment when I said yes asked are you sure it was this location, yes, acted like I was wrong and bothering them, mind you no one else was there. The girl drawing the blood was unable to get blood on the first try then proceeded to stab the needle into my other arm causing a sharp pain throughout the draw, will never go there again.

Unprofessional
August 24, 2018

Although they've upgraded their sign in for Hppa laws, the techs do not come out to retrieve patients. They are stationed in the back and shouting out patients names. Some patients are hearing impaired and unable to hear. The patients are then helping each other be seen. Some are leaving becaause they haven't been called or are unable to hear their names and are then being bypassed The entire office is completely unprofessional and chaotic. A deli counter in the supermarket has a better system.

Staff was RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. They told us we needed paperwork even though the work that was to be done was all electronic from United Health Care. My wife works for UHC and we have been coming here every year for this yearly, routine lab work paid entirely by UHC. There IS NO PAPERWORK required or available. But they clearly didn't care and appeared to not want to even do the work. Our appt was for 06:30, we checked in 4 min early with no one out front or in back, we were only patients in the Lab. Yet they were too busy discussing personal matters than going ahead and taking care of us. Yes 4 min is nothing but it was the perception they left that they were not interested in doing anything. The guy kept saying it was UHC that required said forms. My wife works for UHC and works in the dept that handles these things. When wife told them that but he didn't care. We had to leave since it was clear they were doing nothing. We rescheduled with Quest diagnostics which is just a mile down the road as opposed to this Labcor just 1/4 mile. This is not the first time I've had issues with the rudeness and unprofessional attitude of your employees. We will NEVER go to Labcor again and will not only NOT refer but will strongly discourage anyone from using Labcorp. I gave them 1 star because site Jabber won't let you give ZERO stars

The eternal wait
August 20, 2018

This place is a joke! Only one person working here. I have a drug screen for employment and have to go. Its past my appointment time that I had to make and still waiting in the lobby. The worker is friendly, it's not her fault. The company is to cheap and sorry to have the right amount of staffing and working there employee's to death. Go elsewhere if possible! I don't see how anyone would work for this business.

First time coming to this location. Upon entering the door, the receptionist was too engaged listening to heavy metal music on her desk top radio. She never lifted her head, she just pointed to a check in station on the other side of the room. No words of "hello" or how are you or welcome to LabCorp". No explanation on how to use the self check in station... AT ALL! After I figured it all out, I asked her if there was anything else I needed to do. She asked; what are you here for? Uh obviously blood work? DUH! Her next question was; "who are you"? THE PATIENT! I asked her who she was and her response; "I'm just the receptionist". Apparently no one told her that the title receptionist requires a personality, who is employed by an organization to receive or greet any visitors, patients, or clients and answer telephone calls with a smile and NOT by a metal head jamming to heavy metal music all day. I did find out that her name is Christina. Well dear Christina, you're in the wrong line of work. You're probably best suited working on an assembly line gluing erasers to pencils or some fast food chain building burgers where you can be obnoxious and rude to yourself and not give a sh**!

Billing Scams
August 14, 2018

Blood test done by doctor, contacted insurance and the lab work is 100% covered yet they sent me a bill anyhow. They billed insurance and then tried to bully me into paying more--scam of a company. Congress needs to step in on this ( unless they are all getting a cut.)

My lab bill was considerably higher than what the medical staff told me it should be. I called Labcorp just to see if they could reduce the bill since I had not met my insurance deductible and would have to self-pay. On my first call, I was told that the bill could be reduced by rebilling it as self-pay. After two phone calls and more than an hour on hold waiting for a supervisor to see what could be done, they came back and said that the best they could do is adust my bill by about $50 - that's $50 HIGHER than the bill I was questioning! (And, they acted as if they were doing me some big favor)! They knew full well that they were being rude. They insulted my intelligence and wasted my time. The supervisor was intentionally discourteous and did not do Michelle, the service rep, any favors either. The supervisor made the phone rep look bad by making her do the dirty work of presenting a ridiculous suggestion. Their customer service team came across as unreasonable, rude and unintelligent.
