I hate to admit it, but I'm super picky about eyewear—the fashion aspect of it, as well as wanting to get the best product. I depend on my vision for my profession, and I like getting the best stuff that I can afford.
I got the new spendy icberlin frames I liked for a fraction of retail from eBay, and I wanted all the options for my lenses, so I tried Lensabl. I chose Lensabl over their competitors because of the design of their website; I thought they did a good job of making the process simple and easy. You can monitor the progress of your lenses using their order tracker. Also, their packaging and overall branding is friendly and well-done. Their customer service has been responsive and helpful.
About a month later (this is written as we are in the middle of a pandemic) I received my completed glasses; they look and function amazing. The options I chose added to the time it takes to complete them—and that's the main thing you have to keep in mind when using a service like Lensabl—it helps immensely if you know a bit about what is involved in making lenses, as well as how certain options you choose can greatly affect how long it takes to make them. I would recommend this service only if you have another pair of eyeglasses to use while the new ones are being fabricated. Also, if you need an emergency lens replacement service, Lensabl may not be the fastest option.
I'm super happy with the lenses and services that Lensabl provided. If you choose to use Lensabl, just remember to manage your expectations. Lensabl's lab(s) are the big, high-end kind that the opticians use, so the quality is going to be great, but the process of fabrication, coating, and edging lenses is complex and time consuming—plus if they don't pass quality control they will have to go through the whole thing again.
It's nice to have an option like Lensabl. I think they did an awesome job. I'm going to use them again, and I highly recommend them to anyone who is super picky about eyewear like I am. Just keep all the things I wrote about in mind.
The lenses are fine for what I need (Z87-rated protective eyewear for working in healthcare). They are heavy since my prescription is strong, but will ultimately be lighter than having to wear goggles over my usual prescription glasses. I'm curious what the water mark/dent in the upper right corner of each lens is for? It is distracting and I moved my review down from four to three stars because of it.
I order lens with x active transitions to my Bose Tenor Audio frame, I shipped the frame to lensabl address and status is easy to track... got back my frame with lenses flawlessly on time. Using those for daily use. I am loving those!
I was nervous about ordering lenses online and shipping my frames, but I was pleasantly surprised! The online ordering experience was extremely easy and shipping was fast. My sunglasses look great and came packaged safely and with a nice case, cleaner, and microfiber towel. I highly recommend this company! It was far more affordable than the new prescription glasses that I purchased in-store and I see no difference in the quality. They also accept insurance!

Worst company ever dealt with. My lenses took 5 months for them to fulfill and 23 emails and ‘threads'. They broke the frames, had to send my glasses back after 4 months... the script was wrong. During communications I was told they were giving me additional discount but they actually charged me an additional $60! Lensibl is clueless regarding lenses, communications and service.
There were issues at literally every step with this and my other order. Terrible customer service, poor quality, incorrect order, ridiculously slow. Never again with Lensabl.
It took a bit longer than I expected. The whole process took 5 wks from order, to receiving box, mailing box, and receiving the new lenses. It felt like it took a long time to receive the box and then I was without glasses for 3+ weeks. I think this company can do more to set expectations about turn-around time depending on geographic location.
When I received the glasses back, there was a human hair stuck between the lens and the frame which I had to tweeze out. I was also surprised that my glasses looked different. The right lens has a think border that really catches the light, that wasn't there when I delivered my frames. It almost looked like the right lens didn't really fit the frames. I am assuming my prescription went up and required a thicker lens in the right side. There is probably nothing Lensabl can do about that, but unfortunatley in pictures my glasses look like they have a white rim around the lens, but only on one side.
The good news is that I can see perfectly, so I am happy about that. I appreciated the email communication with progress updates because given how long I was without my glasses, I was getting a little worried I wouldn't get them back. I also appreciated new case and glasses cleaner. That was a nice touch.
After waiting 2 months to have my lenses replaced I finally received my glasses back and they were not correct. Aspects that were request (and paid for) were not completed and others were included that were not wanted. Frustrating!
Got my frames back with the new lenses and it was better than expected. Yes the lenses are perfectly fine! The frames are too. But I was surprised by the extras! New nose guards, a Quality Case, lens cloth and lens cleaner spray!

Hi, this was my second order from Lensabl. Since the first one was nicely done I moved forward for the second one but unfortunately it is disappointing. First, the original lenses are not sent back to me. It is a kind of expensive sunglass and I do need my original lenses back which has Tom Ford engraved on it. Second, the new lenses are not fit. The lenses are smaller that the original one for the frame and you can see a groove and it's obvious there's a size issue.
My order was completed and shipped in a fast manner. I received my glasses recently and I am so happy with the upgrade!

Overall i found the process to be great and efficient, especially the ordering process. One issue i experienced was that the box sent to me was not acceptable to the UDPS (too small) so i had to request a label to ship it in another container. Other than that it was a good efficient process and i'm very happy with the quality of the work. Lenses are great!
Took a long time, the Maui Jim's are wrong and the costas have a dent and very blotchy vision. I'm requesting my money back before I turn it into my credit card company. I would put my old lenses in, but wait... they showed up shattered!
Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
