The dress I ordered is fine but the sleeves are snug so I wanted to exchange it for a larger size. You don't make it easy. Measure this, measure that, take pictures. I opted just to keep the dress and try to adjust the snugness myself. I will not be ordering dresses anymore.
On June 22,2018 I placed a order with light in the box for some camping equipment in the amount of $153.08 that includes a charge of $35.35 for shipping and insurance. Then they charged my credit card for $4.59 for transaction fee. I knew then this was not going to be good. Then they said the outdoor picnic blanket was out of stock. Finally the stuff came and everything was of poor quality. I asked about my refund for my out of stock item. No respond. Finally someone gets back to me and apologizes and said it was processed. That never happened. Email again, no number to call. Just email. No refund. This is the kidder. The email says the refund has been processed. No... A check mailed to me. They have my address. No... They asked for a paypal account so they can refund me. No... that never happen. Numerous emails requesting a refund. All of these never happen. This company is such a crook. The only reason why I went to site is because it came up in my instagram

My experience is based on multiply orders that I've made and received until now. I've ordered mostly clothes for women and men, plus couple of handy staff for my garden. All the orders were delivered on time, all the products were of a good quality and the prices are amazing. The only you need to be careful about is sometimes the sizes. In overall, I'm very happy customer and I can only recomend this portal. Thank you Light in the box!
I purchased a watch from lightinthebox but when it arrived it didn't look like the photo and therr were no instructions. I sent it back next day by standard mail (no tracking) which was the advice given to me by the customer service representive. 7 weeks have gone now and the watch apparently has not arrived in the returns department in Poland. However after speaking to customer service they were extremely helpful and resolved the solution with no fuss. I would thoroughly recommend.

I was totally surprised when i saw they were delivering all items at my door, days before planed. Everything was right as far as I followed all advised about sizes in every item. Colour quality is so good, materials are exactly what they say so.
Im very happy i found ths place and sure I do more orders, cos it is so easy to make it right without wasting time in the streets and shops.
All cos it is totally true all they say abut material, quality and sizes. A BIG PLUS.
I ordered two pieces, and I got them fairly quick. I was worried about quality but for my surprise they were super nice. Since my first order, I have placed another one, and I can't wait till it arrives
Immediately after I posted my complaint I was worthy of customer service. They resolved the typos on the personalized items and eventually sent replacements of the broken necklaces. From start to finish - it took about 6 months. If they had simply helped after I initially complained I never would have resorted to social media defamation. I did promise them that I'd adjust my review. So - I've changed it from a 1 to a 2.
They value social media... so use it.
I placed two orders this holiday season. Specifically they included personalized inscribed items as well as jewelry. The necklaces were actually knots in a zippered baggie and were, not surprisingly, broken. I ordered multiple personalized items. The engraving is so tiny that it is not readable. I entered 3 lines - as was shown in their photo - they mushed them into 2 lines... completely changing the message. Another was for a team - I entered the team name, the school, the graduating year. Very simple. They translated it to the first 2 entries were now a couple and there was an "&" placed between. WHAT?!
In the over $60 that I spent as small gifts for others - there was NOT ONE SINGLE ITEM that I could give as a gift without being incredibly embarrassed.
There customer service gives the illusion that they are good because they respond quickly to issues via email. However - they don't resolve the issue. They just send generic responses that do not pertain to your specific concern. There is no recourse. After your original complaint you cannot communicate with them without attaching additional photographs... the site won't let you enter your message without attaching photos. Too much hassle.
Shop elsewhere... unless you like to purchase low end garbage. Keep your money in the USA!
Last year I purchased casual shirt in 2 X size. With the pandemic lock down I figured I had put on a couple of pounds so I ordered a 3 X from a different shirt maker. Shipping was quick, but alas, the shirt was too tight.
I contacted Customer Service and was quickly answered with a couple of options. Since I wanted to order a larger size I took the option to keep the shirt and receive a 20 % discount on the new shirt.
After a couple of emails requesting information on how this would work I received an answer and placed my new order for the same shirt, only larger.
I am very happy with the selections of clothing and also happy with Customer Service.
In the past I have also purchased other items that were not clothing, but things I needed and found on their website.
First of all the stuff take too long to arrive. Second when I got them it's not what you order completely different stuff in color and design some are not completely done buttons are still missing fabric is very poor not what you see in the picture just be careful but for me I wouldn't order from that site again

I ordered some slipcovers for chairs. When they came it was evident that they were too small. I tried to arrange a return but was told that I would have to send them back to China, which would cost more than I had paid for them. They offered a 20% return if I kept the merchandise, but then I never heard from them again. Poor business practice, buyer beware!

Since these are not high value we thought suggesting this would be more viable than a return, given that you would be responsible for the return postage. Keep in mind we indicate all our products with their exact measurements --in both inches and centimetres-- on our website. But please don worry, should you have regretted this decision we can still help you obtain a return for a refund, as long as the slipcovers come are unused, and come with the same packaging as received. My preliminary belief was that my original order would be shipped from Canada as the info on the website was not clear. I paid for expedited shipping 3-4 days and still after three weeks have not received my order. Got a call from DHL saying the package was enroute and that I would have to pay an additional $35 for duties and taxes. When the order gets here, I'm not accepting it. I have entered several tickets in an attempt to have customer service contact me, but their response is always the same old script, like it has been generated from a manual. There is no phone number or online chat where you can call or speak to a person in real time. Their information about shipping and delivery is a scam. The costs are exorbitant and the effort required to "recover" the duties and additional taxes are all BS. I will never use this site again and will do everything I can to dissuade others from using it.
I ordered several items in late December, 2020. My credit card was charged $90.51, but the package never arrived. I contacted Customer Service and was repeatedly asked to continue to be patient. In April 2021 I was asked if I wanted to re-order the items. I replied no, and requested a refund. On April 23 Customer Service promised me the refund, but it was never received! One week later, they closed my account and I have no way to contact the company. My bank investigated, but Light in the Box has a 60 day time limit for refunds. Even though they had already promised me the refund! DO NOT deal with this company! I have had nothing but headaches and I am out $90.51!

Company offers wide variety of goods, my experience concerns clothing. I use company service for multiple years, I kept record on 48 orders from year 2020 and all orders where executed correctly, all goods where matching description, no manufacturing defects or other problems. Postage costs where reasonable, no customs issues or bad packing. So my conclusion is positive and I may recommend LightInThe box service.
The items arrived on schedule and no unexpected costs. I love the swim suits except they are to small. I want to exchange them for a larger size and there is no way forward. I tried everything for days, emails etc. this is the first communication I have had. I am disappointed.

I purchased Christmas decorations from Lightinthebox. I was given a range for the date to arrive. It took 3 weeks and the products were crushed into a box. The decorations were nothing like the pictures. They were cheap, trashy looking and were made poorly. Since they were crushed into a box, I spent 15 min trying to make one of 8 of them look decent. Honestly, there was nothing you could do to make cheap, trashy items look good. I decided to return and found out I had to pay for them to be returned to China! They quoted $10-40 to return. It cost me $90. After filling out the international forms, paying this amount, I had to spend 30 min trying to figure out how to provide Lightinthebox with the receipt and shipping tracking number (a requirement by them). I am not sure it was wise for me to spend more money to get my refund but I was curious if I would receive my $235 refund.

I ordered some leggings from this website last week for a festival i'm going to TOMORROW! I paid £11 for express extradited delivery 3-4 business days, it hasn't come, I have started a ticket and the 'supervisor' sylvia first of all told me to try tracking it - i don't speak chinese so cannot track it on a chinese website, and then when i said it was too late and i wanted a refund as i was missold the item she just stopped replying! Worst company i have ever dealt with and intend to go to trading standards with this first thing tomorrow. I have been more than patient and their customer service is appalling

Of course it takes forever to get merchandise from them, but that wouldn't be so bad in that in their photos, the sweaters look great. I have never seen a sweater like this. There is an inner, partial layer in the front that must be zippered. When you do so, it produces a big lump because the inner material is drawn up into a ball. If you don't mind walking around looking like you have a pot belly, than this is the sweater for you! The photo doesn't even begin to show how ridiculous it looks when you wear this sweater. In addition, the sleeves are too short. This thing is going into the rag pile! :( Buy American!

If you think the same, then don't worry: shippment does just take some time, because it gets delivered form the other side of the world. All of the clothing I received was horrible quality and did not look at all like the photo they had online. They were just plain awful and the sizing was a joke. I received an XL shirt that would not fit a small person and a Med shirt (was supposed to be the same shirt as the XL) and the medium was literally larger than a 4x One was a terrible quality plain sweatshirt with a sticker posted on it and the other was a draping long gown like garment. I was appalled.would recommend finding a different company.
