I received my product under 2 weeks, shipping to portugal I understand the situation takes awhile according to the description, just need to be patience.
I did find a slight difference between the product and the image that displayed on the site, just need to be aware for small details on the images that display on the site and the product you purchase. For example I ordered a wig that was half black and half blue that shown on the site, but I have received a wig that entirely blue with small amount of black.
But I didn't bother to enquiry the situation because I kinda like it almost full blue, and if I do decide to add black in the future I will just have to tint it.
Very professional approach, I even got money back for the delay. So, the only thing that is missing is to provide correct delivery time on their website, so I will not order it if it is too long. Otherwise, I order it and wait for one month and finally pay more as a result of a delay (pay more by paying workers two times, because they have to come again to finish the job with installation of the fosset).
I have bought a lot of clothes through Light in the box. Most of the items are true to size. Some you have to size up or down. Just make sure you read the comments.
I have been very pleased with my purchases. I do have a complaint with the slow shipping.
I also have had them send me a wrong item which was supposed to be a gift and the item they sent was not able to be used by anyone. That ended up being a total waste of money.
For the most part I do love everything I have ordered.
Purchased a jacket size large... but large where I'm not sure. Website return procedure is horrible. Everywhere you should be able to "click" does not respond. You need a form to make a return yet it's impossible to find/print the form. Customer service is non existent. No way to email or chat.
I always wanted a pair of disco ball earrings, and these are just what I was looking for! They are beautiful, exactly as pictured. I got these completely free using my store credit. I even live in Canada and it still shipped free. I love this store!
No matter how big or small the purchases are, light in the box really reassures you as a customer and that is plain and simple being trustworthy. The items are in good conditions and packaging good. The waiting, delivery and receiving is silky as smooth. Have to keep coming back for more
Their shipping can take awhile to arrive, being as how their shipped from China, however, the products have been really nice. I have quite a few of their shirts now, and really like the look of them. They seem to be nicely made, and look pretty sharp.
Well they have seemed to have learned from last time, all action figures were now boxed separated and to make a long story short. They are awesome! If you are willing to pay some extra cost for import taxes, they are way to go and buy there!
The product purchased was perfect. Every shirt was nice and stylish. The material is fine quality and build to last. The shirts are a nice fit for any occasion. One of the shirt color was not reflected correctly in the picture as it appeared black but was actually gray. Anyhow still nice.
I bought a pair of yoga pants, useful also for tribal fusion bellydance. Very good fabric and perfect size, very good quality and very low price. I received it very soon with international economy shipping. The service was perfect and I am completely satisfied so I placed another order last week:)
There is also wonderful dresses (lowest price I've ever seen) and you can find regular size, oversize and tailormade.

Lightinthebox is very reliable. There are some great products for very cheap. I have a lot to buy on the site. And I've gotten everything unbroken and beautiful. Sometimes you have to wait a long time but sometimes I already at your door after a week. The wait is well worth it.

Of the 4 tops I have ordered so far, 2 were fabulous, fit true to size, look like the photos on the website and great prices! One of these was white and although it looks like solid fabric in the photos it's actually eyelet material, quite pretty and surprisingly not see-through. The other 2 were t-shirts and not like they appeared. The photos on the site looked like they had looser flared sleeves and bottom hem but they are actually straight and much narrower. Also the colors weren't quite true, especially the one which appeared more sky blue in the photo and is a dull greyish green. I don't want the hassle of trying to return them so I'm going to try convert them into tank tops because the fabric is actually quite nice and soft.
I purchased some dresses and what was supposed to be Christmas deco from Lightin The Box based on the eye catching designs and descriptions. There was a mention of a sale, the dresses were being sold at a steal. I bought the items at the beginning of December where the deliver date was indicated as immediately or a few days. I received the package only on Christmas day. The Christmas Deco turned out to be 2 stickers which could have been bought at a street vendor for under a dollar. The dresses looked like some school children were practicing needle work. The material inferior and the total value was a fraction of what I had paid. The garments were not fit to be worn nor given to charity. Hats off to the Marketing Team as they have hood winked the people.

Worst worst place ever. Cheap quality and send you dresses that ain't even the same as the picture. And then they say it a non returnable item and it handmade so it can't be returned. Took me weeks to contact someone and it's worst customer service ever.

I am sorry that the dress wasn't satisfactory. In fact we have been selling these handmade dresses for over 12 years, with many repeated customers. After having looked at the photo you've sent, I couldn't see visible quality problems, nor that your dress was different compared to the photos on our website. It seems you had inention to order the dress in black, but mistakenly chosen the colour pearl pink. Kindly note made-to-order products cannot be returned, since these are exclusively made on demand, which also explains why it took our supplier a while to finish it. As a commercial gesture a partial refund of 30% was offered, we hope this can help ease the situation.

Got my wife a green rain jacket. It was not waterproof as advertised. Only water resistant. And one of the drawstrings was missing the metal piece. I did not know this until my wife opened it for Christmas. So when I tried to return it, the company said I could pay for shipping to have it replaced. I didn't want to pay more money to get a new one, I wanted my money back. So I told them I was disappointed with the options. They offered me $2.60 as a refund for a crappy product. So I took that and now I have a damaged product I don't want. I will not be doing any business with Light in the Box in the future. Not worth it.

I've checked through previous correspondence and am afraid there could have been a major misunderstanding. It seems that when you've contacted us, you didn't mention the rain jacket wasn't water proof. The 10% partial refund was based on the understanding that a small metal tab missing from the shoe lace. We might have thought a 10% partial refund would have been sufficient to buy a new shoe lace locally. However if the jacket isn't waterproof as described, I agree this offer would be deemed as highly inappropriate. Please accept our apologies for this misunderstanding. Based on the description problem you should be offered no less than a full refund!

"This dress came earlier than expected. It was a custom fit so I was kind of nervous. I've lost a bunch of weight and my upper arms did not shrink with the rest of me. I got in contact with customer service to convey the size of my arms. They were gracious and responded that it would be to my specifications. All of the clothing I received was horrible quality and did not look at all like the photo they had online. They were just plain awful and the sizing was a joke. I received an XL shirt that would not fit a small person and a Med shirt (was supposed to be the same shirt as the XL) and the medium was literally larger than a 4x One was a terrible quality plain sweatshirt with a sticker posted on it and the other was a draping long gown like garment. I was appalled.would recommend finding a different company.
