I am very disappointed!

I am very disappointed! Not only I had to pay 10 euro transport fee, when I finally received the package, I had to pay additionally 35 euro for import taxes. It was also delivered 2 months later than promised.
For a present of 77 euros, I had to pay 45 euros additional costs.
Ive paid much more than I would when I bought it in a local shop. There was nothing mentioned about additional import taxes. And I would not have to wait 2 months!

I bought some goods worth $130.00 including delivery charges, When it was delivered I was asked to pay for custom duties which I disagreed. I ask that the merchandise be returned as I was not informed to begin with about paying for Custom Duties. I was never refunded, not even a penny from the $130.00 I paid for. I don't know if the merchandise ever got back to them. My ticket # was *******, was closed in Dec. 2018. I will never order from this company anymore. They are crooked.

For customers who had this duty insurance, we will fully refund duty cost if it is occurred. Please note you chose not to insure your order against tax at checkout.

The carrier has not returned your parcel yet. Normally, we need to wait until the return process is completed. However, we will start processing the refund beforehand to meet your satisfaction.

Again, I am sorry for this unusual situation and any discomfort this may have caused to you. I will immediately refund you 102.12 CAD.

The refund will be sent to your card which you used to pay for this order. It usually takes 3-5 days to be processed by us. depending on your local bank, it may take up to 7-25 days for you to receive it on your credit card, as it normally takes up to one billing cycle for them to execute it. I ordered a dress from the company and it was absolutely nothing like the dress pictured. Material, style, everything was wrong. I've included pics of what I received, and what the dress was supposed to be. Such a joke they even sent it to me. I returned the item, was told I would have a store credit minus the shipping and a partial store credit. After going back and forth they finally agreed to refund me the full amount of $44.83. The process got even crazier. I would receive a store credit, and then would have to withdraw the credit to go to my credit card. I did all of that and on October 5th I requested the refund to my credit card. Since then, nothing has been done. It still says pending on the withdrawal after almost 20 days.

Very disappointing
June 3, 2021

I needed to return some items to them which just the postage costed me £18. They have received the items now weeks ago, every time I email them and ask where is my refund they email me back 1-2 days later with one line saying would get it back in 1-2 business days and I'm still waiting weeks later. I even asked them to let me know how and where I can send a formal complaint but they keep ignoring this, and just this I believe is breaking the rules, customers must be able to complaint!

Not worth the money

I bought an ugly Christmas sweater for a Christmas party. When I received it, the screen print was shabby and the word Christmas carried over from the last print. Poor quality for what I paid for this item.

They will end up scamming you if you run into a problem such as your item didn't arrive or your refund didn't arrive. No one you can talk to for resolution. They will send you robot emails suggesting you contact your bank or wait another month. I have waited 40 + business days for a refund on two returned items which they did receive and process. Still nothing.

This is one bad-$#*! flashlight! Super bright, a nice feel to it, not heavy, but not cheap like those Wal-Mart LED flashlights, well worth the price, I recommend light in the box to all my friends, thanks guys!

At first I was a little sceptic ordering online. As I was looking for a well priced coat for my daughters birthday and as budget is tight in these months, I ordered a nice looking winterjacket from the website. I had a confirmation with a tracking number within a day, so i could follow the progress. 10 Days later the jacket arrived. The jacket is great! My daughter is very happy and next to that according to her, her friends are really jealous. This wont be my last purchase with lightinthebox. Well worth the wait. Cheers

Winter coat and boots

Winter coat and boots, the indicated measurements do not correspond to the real ones, it is not possible to make an exchange or return or exchange for an equivalent product. This is a big minus for the store, there is no loyal approach to the buyer. In my case, almost 60 euros are lost.

The shoes are very nice and I think the quality is also good. And I like it very much. But sad to say that it is big for me. Size 36 (9 inches foot long) is big for me. I gave it to my sister. I do hope that you have size 35 (8 inches foot long). I really like the shoes. Please send me some notice if you have available size number 35. Thank you

I ordered a dress 02. 07. 22 received 04.08.22.The item was not suitable and I applied for a refund.The reply was so confusing: I needed to log in to my correct email address I needed to submit a ticket? Is my item within the warranty time frame? If I chose to have a refund from China it would be over my warranty time limit. If I kept the dress and bought something else from this firm they would give me a 60% discount If I kept it but didn't buy anything I would receive a 50% refund. All I would like is to be able to return this item I have purchased from other firms but never had all these problems. I certainly will not use this firm again.

We measured the size of the waste and no matter what you buy, they are all the same size and made for a malnourished Chinese teenager. My fiancée is 28 or 29 inch waist, 100lbs lighter than me and they barely fit her.

They post fake advertisement for 7th anniversary sale: 90% off for Samsung Galaxy tab 3 and Ipad Mini. Those pages never had any 'add to bag' sign and a customer service personnel told me they were bought by someone who has a fast computer. What a childish lie. Now I doubt their price with all the sale prices. They are all must be overpriced with false sale prices and false original prices. Shame on Light in the Box. They are so dishonest.

This was my first time ordering from a company directly located in Asia, so I was a little hesitant about the sizes, but the site provided a size chart and the reviews of customers on certain products were very helpful. The dress is of high quality and very beautiful. I would recommend to order at least one waist size larger because it comes out very small. I assume this is because the material has multiple/thick layers taking up lots of space and room to breathe. It is slightly too small for me but I can still wear it. I would recommend this dress because of its stunning beauty.

The clothes are poorly made. Cheap fabric. They make it impossible for you to return. Customer service is the worst I've ever encountered. The clothes look nothing like what is on their website. I feel like I've been scammed. Such a rip off.

All the orders that were placed were delivered on time, the products were well packed in a professional manner. The items are of high quality and materials. They are very comparable to the ones that are available at the high-end stores around.

My inquiries were responded to in a timely manner and resolved appropriately. I was charged COD by the courier company and LightInThe Box refunded every cent of the charges back to me on both occasions.

I will gladly recommend LightInTheBox to friends, family, colleagues and even my adversaries (lol).

Keep your money

I ordered about 6 shorts and 4 shorts.
All junk. Nothing fits like the size it should be.
I can't even tell what kind of material it's made from. It's like nothing else in my closet. Don't feel like it clothes material. It's the thinnest material I have ever felt. Just plain junk in my view. Keep your money, you'll just be disappointed with the product and service.

Good stuff up there

Good quality stuff up there. The only thing is that the delivery takes too long. Within 2 to 3 weeks time every order should come in! But in reality it takes 3 to 4 weeks time. You can only order something 1 time a month and not twice a month. Because you won't expect the same month. As I said before LightinTheBox has good quality stuff.
