I ordered an ice skating dress for my daughter for her first competition. I got confirmation after paying for the dress. A few days later I got a "ticket" claim from light in the box that there was an issue and the dress was out of stock. Shortly there after I got another email from them saying it was resolved. I assumed this meant they were sending the dress. Today I went onto their site only to see that it was resolved by cancelling my order and giving me a credit on their site. I can not for the life of me find a person to call or email directly. I do not want a credit! I want the dress or my money refunded in full. This is terrible customer service and I am so sorry I shopped with them.
This site has a lot of fun stuff at very low cost. I love the daily draws for coupons and collecting points that can be traded for coupons.
I was searching for a sofa cover in a particular colour and fabric and found exactly what I wanted at Light in the Box.
I ordered a ski helmet for an upcoming ski trip. To make sure that I received it in time, I paid extra to have it delivered within 5-12 days. It is now 4 weeks since I ordered, and did not received the item. All they said when I complained was that I should be patient. And they refused to reimburse me, claiming that they will do it only when I send the item back (how can I do it when I never received it). Never had such problems with aliexpress ot dx.com. Stay away from these crooks.

If you order a nice dress, check the small print. The big print on site touts easy returns. However, A nicer event dress in a Standard size is considered made to order and cannot be returned. This is in much smaller print at the end of the order. "So even the product is in Standard Size, it still belongs to "Made-to-Order" products. ".

I really liked the dress I bought but it was too big in the chest, and I would really like to return it. I followed all your directions of how to return the dress to your company for money back, but I've waited now a week and no response from anyone there. I love a lot of your clothes, but I won't purchase anything else unless I hear from you about my return.
Order an 8 camera system from them. They charged my account. Then asked for a photo ID and Copies of the CC'd. I told them no. To cancel my order. Which they did. But now they have 225.00 of my money.
I will change the rating as soon as I get my money back!

We've bought curtains twice from LightInTheBox and have been pleased with both sets. The material feels nice and the light plays off it a just a little bit. Although they are light, they block the light very well. The curtains have been sent quickly and packaged well. They were folded and can go right up on the rod. The price seems right to us - we would buy these again.
I have been trying to get the company to give me my refund for months. They wouldn't send me a return shipping label and found them mailed it back myself. Sent them pictures of the measurements. I normally wear a large so I ordered in XL it fitted like a medium I sent pictures of me wearing them.

I ordered clothes which looked good on the web side. I was stunned when I received the merchandise. Nothing looked like the pictures. Very cheap quality, the cut of the clothes looked totally different in the pictures. A skirt and a dress looked very wide on the photo, in reality just the minimum of material was used. One dress had a strange bright pink part which was not mentioned at all, I am not sure if the Good Will store can do something with the stuff. On top of all out of the blue I suddenly had to pay postage which did not appear on my final bill. Well, this was certainly a lesson I had to pay for. Ordering in China? Never ever again.

I love the shirts and bathing trunks I bought for my husband. I have not given them to him yet as I got them for his birthday gift, but I personally like these garments very much, the printing is very colourful and the materials are very nice. I'm sure he will love them too!
I have ordered quite a few things over the years from this company. The quality of the items seem like that of cos-play, but then again, that is what I ordered it for. I really do not like that they do not let you leave a 1 or 2 star review. I have ordered items that say "one size fits all" that were definitely only for the very petite. I think they count on you not returning purchases because their stuff is so cheap that it is not worth paying the shipping to do so.
You must read the fine print around returns. I received a product far below my expectations totally unacceptable and nothing like the photograph and description on their website and returning the product to them in China was to exceed the cost of the product! I was refunded $6 on a $22 purchase. Stay away!

Light in the Box has the absolute worst return policy I have ever encountered -- in that they refuse to accept returns and claim that standard orders are "custom" made without any advance warning to the consumer before purchase. I ordered a flower girl dress for my daughter from Light in the Box. It came quickly but did not look as it did online so we decided to return it. Customer service informed us that they would not accept a return because it was a "custom" order, even though it was not. We simply chose a standard size 2T from the size drop down menu under the item. There was NO indication anywhere that this was a "custom" order in any way. Customer service was unhelpful. I ended up stuck with a $100 dress I cannot use. I would NEVER order from this site again.

I ordered a thermometer from these people and their website says it shipped, but I never received it. I tried to track the shipment on their website, but it shows "error". There is no number for customer service and their "directions" for getting a refund lead to nowhere. $95 down the drain in CHINA.

I've had a nightmare of a time with my order. To cut a long story short my order has been in processing for over a week. No confirmation email received although they were sure quick to take my $140. When I requested a refund they conveniently told me that it had been shipped the day before even though it didn't show that today.
The only way to contact them to complain is through social media, although they hide your complaints so potential business isn't affected obv. Other than that you can get a 'help' ticket only by requesting a refund.

All of the clothing I received was horrible quality and did not look at all like the photo they had online. They were just plain awful and the sizing was a joke. I received an XL shirt that would not fit a small person and a Med shirt (was supposed to be the same shirt as the XL) and the medium was literally larger than a 4x One was a terrible quality plain sweatshirt with a sticker posted on it and the other was a draping long gown like garment. I was appalled.would recommend finding a different company.
