Photos are nice and reviews are fantastic, but I received garbage instead --- it sticks to whatever it touches and you get static electricity shock for every tiny movement wearing it.
Contacted customer service and got no response. Disputed from my credit card and lightinthebox lawyer claimed NO RETURN and NO REFUND policy that I overlooked opening my account on their site.
Money wasted and lessons learned —— Except Amazon.com and ebay.com, I haven't found other safe online shopping site to buy Chinese products.

I ordered 2 dresses from LightIn The Box. I was told that I could not return either dress! What? Both dresses were tried on, still have tags and are back on the wrapper. Horrible company!
I wear a size 4 and an XXL dress was too tight. I will never do business with this company AGAIN.
Update: order arrived on 7.11 all intact. The bulbs themselves didn't fit initially in the housing so I needed to do some manual adjustment, but that, s not seller's fault. Products as described and good quality. Ordered a pair of Led car headlights... Big mistake. Initially on the site was written that shipping time will be 5 to 8 work days. Order was shipped on 29.09.2017. I contacted customer service on 28.10.2017 asking why my order is still not present. The answer was that shipping time is 38 days. Today I submitted another ticket and they told me that due to postal shipping it could go up to 60 days! Asked to be dirrected to supervisor or teamleader. Will see how it goes! My advise is check all info provided before ordering.

I placed an order back in March and got an email saying it was shipped on March 23rd. Almost 2 months later, I still haven't received it and there's no informmation when I use their tracking. I have sent them several emails without a response. They are just ignoring me. Absolutely the worst online purchase experience I've ever had.

It's just dropshipping from Aliexpress with items resold at +500/600% increase and twice the time to get it delivered from China. Normal postage can take up to 60/70 days to be delivered. Customer Care plays it nice but they are just there to drag you to exhaustion and gatekeep you from any refund or real support.

So BAAAADDDDDD! It is really a terrible experience that i had in lightinthebox. I was very happy that i find the eye shadow palette with 180 colors at the first time, and without more consideration, i place the order at once also for the $31.49 cheap price. Yet, 30 days were passed, yet nobody contact me about my order, and i am disappointed by the same replay of waiting waiting waiting... I can not bear them. On August. 1,35 days later i finally received them, Yet, all was over when i unwrapped the package. Everything was destroyed... Toronto Canada, I dont usually write reviews but this situation was pretty baddddd. I ordered a dress for my wedding from light in the box, it took less than two weeks, not bad. Expedited shipping was an additional cost although the promotion advertised that it was free. When DHL arrived at my door, they were demanding additional $52 for dutie taxes. Huh? I read the fine print before ordering and it said nothing about dutie taxes. Pissed and unprepared, I had to send the dress back with DHL. Cant get hold of anyone from the company that gives a crap. Email email email till your fingers fall off. It's not worth the stress.

The store presents a very nice visual and material offer. In the event of a complaint, the Customer Service Department behaves positively and also deserves a good opinion. I recommend this sales platform.
They give you a processing time that is significantly off. Items may take anywhere from 2-5 times longer to receive than stated. If you want to cancel your order because it won't arrive in time for some event (birthday, prom, ball, party, etc.), then they try to charge you a handling fee. I fought the handling fee and they said they would refund the full amount of items that had not been sent and cancel those items. The amount refunded was only for shoes.
There are occasions when it is appropriate for a business to register more than one domain name, but in my experience it is often to hide bad reviews that are connected to other domain names. This appears to be the case with Lightinthebox.com as they also DBA as Mini in the Box which has 150 complaints with the BBB. This number will soon be 151.
Based on research through domaineye.com they have at least two other domains: miniinthebox.com and dropinthebox.com.

I ordered a dress that I really liked. I ordered the size recommend by their chart. The dress came very fast. I was so disappointed when it didn't fit. The top portion was much smaller than the measurements given. The waist was too high for a person of average height. I tried to return it that same day. I thought I had 7 days to return an unworn item. They told me that it was considered custom made and I should try to sell it myself or give it away. The dress was Eighty dollars before shipping. Money completely wasted. I can't wear the dress.

I don't know whether to blame light in the box or HM revenue and customs. I ordered hair wig on the 20th of December for £55.41 which weighs less than 0.5kg. A month after, am receiving an invoice from TNT to pay £28.40 for custom duties. Why did they have to clear the items on my behalf? Probably because they knew l would have abandoned the items with them. Quite annoying and a big rip off from both sides, especially when l was not pre advised of paying any duties.
You're past "growing pains" You've been around long enough to understand when it comes to clothing, you're vendor sizes are all over the board. I bought a 53" bust jacket, fits great. Bought a 56" jacket that barley fit's my 50" bust wife. When someone disputes the purchase your reply is you got what you bought. Your merchandise can be great! Acceptable, or shotty. You need to regulate sizes on your website or quit refusing refunds. My purchases, I'll give you a 6. Novelties are great but when you buy a winter jacket, #1 it doesn't fit. #2 it's too small. Don't tell me I got what I ordered. Yes I did, but a 56" that's too small doesn't fit a 53" that fits great, don't blame the customer.

I couldn't believe the prices! I got 2 watches, 2 bracelets and 1 set of Professional Makeup Brushes for less than 35.00 USD & FREE Shipping! I didn't pay extra for fastest delivery and was expecting my package to arrive one month after my purchase since it says on the webpage that it takes 10-20 business days, but surprise!... It only took 10! So if you're in no hurry to get your items free shipping might work for you. The quality of the products is excellent! I'm recommending this site to all my friends and family.
My card was charged for for an item. I cancelled that order before it was shipped and requested a refund. I was notified that the cancellation was successful and my credit card would be refunded the full amount. They closed the ticket after 7 days. There is no way what so ever for you to contact "customer service" after the ticket is closed. I still have not received any refund from them and will never order from light in the box again and I will tell anyone that will listen that this company is horrible and unreliable.
On the website "www.lightinthebox.com" so far I made two purchases both less than 22, even considering shipping. Maybe that's why I did not receive custom charges and in any case the site allows you to choose an insurance refund any customs fees. I bought some LED bulbs and a E27 adapter 2xE27. By comparing the prices offered by "lightinthebox" with other sites I was very happy also for the quality of the goods. The only negative are the shipping times, but this is normal because the goods are still in China and from the site can be traced back to the state of dispatch and delivery.
I ordered a bike shirt in January. Using their online chart, I ordered a L (large). Six weeks later I received the shirt in a S (small). I requested they correct the mistake. Since then there have been many communications from them -- primarily saying it was my fault. Like: I ordered Asian size, not American size (I ordered from their size chart); Either I should return the shirt at my cost, insured and certified to China, or they would give me half the cost credit toward a new order. Bottom line? It's August and I am still waiting for either the correct size shirt or a refund.

All of the clothing I received was horrible quality and did not look at all like the photo they had online. They were just plain awful and the sizing was a joke. I received an XL shirt that would not fit a small person and a Med shirt (was supposed to be the same shirt as the XL) and the medium was literally larger than a 4x One was a terrible quality plain sweatshirt with a sticker posted on it and the other was a draping long gown like garment. I was appalled.would recommend finding a different company.
