I had ordered a dress as a gift. When the dress arrived, it wasn't the same as in the picture. The colors were "muddy" compared to the vibrant colors in the picture. Also, the dress was of poor-quality material and ill-fitting.
I requested returning the dress and asked for a full refund. LightInTheBox insisted to get any refund, I would have to ship the dress to China at my own expense, not the US address the dress came from. That means I would be spending more money on shipping than I would be getting as a refund. There is no legal reason I should not be returning the dress to the address it was shipped from. LightInTheBox has refused to give a full refund unless I do this. They have only offered a partial refund of the value of the item only.
LightInTheBox has displayed on its website that it has a policy of "Satisfaction Guaranteed", but they don't keep their word.
I STRONGLY discourage anyone from doing business with this company due to the unusable product and their unaccpetable business practices.
The worst shipping times, charges for your returns, AMazon is by far and above the most safe, secure and reliable and so timely service online company. NEVER EVER SHOP HERE.

Lighrinthebix scamme out of $63.03 I order some sandal on July 12 2022 they haven't even sent my shoes as of yet and today is July 21 2022 they close my account I been emailing them like 17 times no reply back this is the worst scamming company ever dont order nothing from them cause u will be just like scammed out your money I filed a police report and a dispute with my bank so I can get my money back from lightinthebox I found out this company is owned by Chinese ppl and they usually the ones that scam u out your money this company need 2 be $#*! down am also reporting them 2 bbb fic they gotta be stop stealing ppl money lightinthebox are scammers beware Chinese ppl always scam u and this is a Chinese company my bank doing a investigation they not gonna get away with this am tired of these scamming companies like lightinthebox taking our money scammers

The last items I received from you, the package was opened then re tapped shut. Luckily there was nothing missing or damaged.
Great experience. The fitting for the outer top was a bit larger than I thought it would be but overall experience was great!
Easy to order. Great selection. Confirmation of order. Was kept onformed of staus of order from beginning to delivery. First click. Only down was the shipping costs.
Two of the three items I had purchased were not satisfactory, but customer service and I came to a mutually agreeable solution.
Should not sell political oriented items and items that are offensive.

Good lether jacket lightweight and warm,only issue is that the 3X size runs a little smaller than other brands I have tried.
They should offer tall sizes also.
Ok, so i waited before i left this review; to give them a chance. And they are failing miserably... so i ordered some clothes and when i received them the material was of the cheapest and looked nothing like their pictures! So i wanted a refund and was willing to pay for the return because i spent too much money on their site without knowing if their clothing was good. So from a purchase of, lets say, $100, they only offered me $12.50! I told them 'not in this universe will i accept that'. Then they offered me 50 %. I accepted that but haven't received my refund and now they DoNT respond to my inquiries; whereas before they were responding DAiLy... ALSO; and very IMPORTANT; if you chose their option for their credit; get THIS: your credit can ONLY be applied if you order TWICE THE AMOUNT of the credit! What is wrong with this ppl? A credit is bc you needed to return; you should be able to use your credit without having to spend MORE MONEY! I hope this site gets shut down bc of that, if nothing else; YOU'VE been WARNED!

Products bought at two different first times were good quality and service to get to me in Canada was just excellent.
My purchase with Light in the Box is one of the worst Internet shopping experiences that I have ever had, and I have been making purchases on the Internet for decades.
My terrible experience with this company started in June of 2023 when I ordered a pair of sandals from them. I diligently followed the instructions on their site to measure my feet. After a long delay, the sandals arrived and they were too large. Either the instructions on the web site were incorrect or the sandals were not made according to their prescribed sizing.
I immediately contacted the company about the problem. They were truly uncooperative and initially resisted any attempt to exchange the sandals. They offered me partial credits for future purchases instead. Finally, after a lot of back and forth, they agreed to make an exchange if I would return the sandals in their original packing with tracking delivery but not using DHL or FedEx. I also had to send a photo of my feet with a ruler indicating my foot size. They agreed that they would send me a pair one size smaller and refund the shipping costs to me upon their receipt of the sandals in the required condition.
I sent the sandals utilizing Canada post with tracking at a significant cost. Canada post shipping charges are significantly higher than DHL or FedEx. They arrived in Chinese customs awaiting pickup by Light in the Box. Finally after weeks of waiting, Light in the Box agreed to send me sandals a size smaller. BUT THEY REFUSED TO REIMBURSE the shipping costs as they had previously agreed. Instead they offered me a credit for half of the shipping costs with a short expiry date, as if I would ever purchase anything from them again.
I received the new sandals and one shoe is slightly smaller than the other. I assume that they were rejects. I have never had problems with my feet sizes previously.
The treatment that I received from this company is a sharp contrast to companies like Amazon and other north american retailers. This process took approximately 5 months! Not only is Light in the Box uncooperative in making exchanges but they do not follow through on their promises. They definitely cannot be trusted.

Answer: Count yourself lucky and DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! You will be disappointed in the clothing and size from this company. All of the clothing I received was horrible quality and did not look at all like the photo they had online. They were just plain awful and the sizing was a joke. I received an XL shirt that would not fit a small person and a Med shirt (was supposed to be the same shirt as the XL) and the medium was literally larger than a 4x One was a terrible quality plain sweatshirt with a sticker posted on it and the other was a draping long gown like garment. I was appalled.would recommend finding a different company.
