The dress i ordered is gorgeous. I loved how it was exactly according to my measurements. The color is absolutely beautiful. Everyone complimented me on this dress and here are some of the comments: "divine" "gorgeous" "red carpet moment". So you can imagine. Its perfect for any special occasion. I highly recommend this dress. Based on the kind of heels you are wearing with the dress you might have to get the train adjusted. Also, the customer service post order was very helpful, they took care of my request of early delivery after I had ordered and it came just in time.

My experience on Lightinthebox has been fantastic. I have so far not regretted being a member on the site because everything on this site moves` smoothly`., you buy and will be assured of receiving it in time. I like the DHL mode of transporting because tracking is excellent and very often they update the shipping process.

It a site worth informing your friend where to get things from.

MEH! Not impressed!

I ordered a few shirts, under $10 each, and I did receive my order, but it took 5 weeks. The quality is not that great, but this was to be expected, as cheap fabric, poor workmanship and small sizes seems to be a standard for China-made clothing items. Shirts were cheaper than I would have paid here, and the shipping was free but super slow. Not incredibly happy with my order, but not totally disgusted either... MEH is just about right! I don't think I will be shopping there again.

Lightinthebox sells quality products at affordable prices. The colors don't fade when washing, nor does the shirt shrink. I like the styles and the fact the shirts only go down just past your waistline. Other Polo brands are very long and hang down to your knees. Their delivery was quick, with no issues. A great company to deal with.

Disappointing

I ordered couple of shirts from this site. First the quality is no good t all second they make it really difficult to return any items. As all their goods is coming from CHINA! And you have to pay for the shipping.! Be Aware

Not what I ordered
June 28, 2022

I bought The sheath/column Wedding dress V neck sweep/blush train on sale fom 477.88, half price. Was not at all what its supposed to be. I had a seamstress basically redo the whole thing. I paid her 500$. I am a very dissatisfied customer. More importantly I didn't have the dress I wanted for my special day. Michelle Dionne

I had the best experience using light in the box

I had the best experience using light in the box. I am usually hesitant when it comes to buying things online from overseas but after reading a bunch of review I finally decided to take a huge gamble and ended up purchasing my wedding dress from this company. Shipping can take a bit but they clearly state that it can take some time to complete the process of getting your order mailed out, though surprisingly my dress came well before I had anticipated. And when I got my package everything was exactly as advertised. All of my items fit perfectly and were made of high quality materials. I am so glad that I decide to use this company for my wedding because not only did I find my dream dress at an amazing price and I found a place to do most of my household and clothing shopping as well. I would give them an 11 star rating if I could!

Their sizing chart isnt even close to the product they send. I opened the wrapper and the costume ripped just taking it out. When you ask for a refund they tell you that you have to ship it back to china. This is their reply to a refund request.:
"However, based on our experience, the costs for return might be the same or half the price of your parcel, even by using the cheapest tracking service in the post office. So, returning to China may not be the most economical option. Instead, we suggest keeping the item. "

I've checked through previous correspondence and am afraid there could have been a major misunderstanding. It seems you've complained about the sizing, without mentioning that the costume was ripped or torn. Consequently, you were offered to keep these with a small compensation, or return it back on your expenses. If there would be problems, then this response would indeed be deemed as highly inappropriate. Based on your case you should be offered no less than a full refund! Can you please forward us photos showing the poor condition the costumes were received? Was the package also damaged? Please don't worry, substantial evidence will allow your refund, without you need to return the products back! Allow me to add that a problem related to size cannot be considered as a quality issue, as we indicate all our products with their exact measurements --in both inches and centimetres-- on the website.

Just recently discovered LightintheBox and I LOVE IT. The selection is great and their prices can't be beat - the best. The shipping is very quick, usually within 24 hours. If you have a problem, customer service is there to help you out. I certainly have no complaints.

Mostly good deals

Prices on the site vary widely but are rising rapidly. There are currently lots of great deals and really good merch mixed with some pure junk and a fair bit of deceptive photography that makes things appear better and bigger than they really are. Check the size of all items as even clothing sizing varies quite a bit. Overall it's a very good but be careful about what you buy.

Not worth ordering

We ordered a mens shirt for my husband. At first the shirt looked lovely - nice print, very lightweight fabric. But the fit was tight on my thin, small husband. After three wearings, it developed tears in three spots on the bottom. Very disappointing. Clearly cheap material and very shoddy substandard work. However, we posted a negative review and were promptly contacted by Light in the Box customer service who issued a prompt refund. We appreciate their promptness in resolving this issue.

Bait and switch
October 2, 2021

Shirt was nothing like picture. Fabric was similar to cheap Halloween costumes. White inside, color printed on front. Design was flat white, and not detailed like the pictures. (See photo). I don't trust any of the positive reviews for this site based on what I was sent.

Total Scam, beware!
December 28, 2021

Ordered early and my packages never arrived. Tried contacting customer service and never got through. Tracking information was never correct. Then Christmas passed and got an email my package had arrived but still haven't received anything. Total rip off. Never will I buy from this company again.

Here is your previous review on our site for reference: Although we had drama's regarding delivery, the dress is Amazing! So much better than the picture. Thank you for your constant contact. I totally recommend anyone using the size guide and taking measurements. My dress fits me like a glove and I don't have the perfect body. Extremely happy now its here.

The shipping was very slow. The worst part is there deceitful return policy. Items have to be returned to CHINA at your cost. They have a New York distribution center, but that is not acceptable. Shipping would be ridiculous. If you opt to keep the item, which is the true option, they only give a partial "refund" which is a merchandise credit---at best 30%. That also comes with very strict requirements and is virtually unusable without spending a bunch more money, plus more shipping. Also, they do not make it clear, that the "refund" amount expires very quickly. Avoid all Chinese companies, especially this one.

We paid for expedited shipping in order to get our product in time for our business. They didn't communicate their processing time for the product being made. When we reached out to them, they sent a generic email that had shown no real sympathy. Yes, we are all going through a crisis, but we should ALL be communicating processes consistently to our clients so they understand. Most everyone is good with that if given efficiently. Now when we go on the site, it says it is shipped but when you click on the tracking number there is no information about the shipment.

VERY poor customer service!
