Just recieved my dress, very disappointed with the quality and materials used. Dress as depicted is very deceiving, showed a sheared flowing skirt and fully flowered bodice. The hems were all unfinished, and the beautiful flowing shear skirt was cheap, thin polyester. The bodice very plain, flowers were dull to look at, no shimmer as picture portrays. I have included pictures.
I will not use this site again and recommend staying away.
Made some order soon after I realized it wont make the shipping in time so I tried to cancel. It would not let me cancel and hours later I get an email saying items has been shipped. The items will get here while I am away out of the country for 1.5 months. When I get home 1.5 months later, it will be too late to return the products. Lost of $385 thanks to lightinthebox. Not sure how you guys even write good reviews when there is no contact info and email just bounces back. I think you guys are mule working for the company.

I ordered a sweater jacket and tried to return it but my order could not be found on my account, even though I have an order number. So no way to contact anyone in regards to this, nothing. I am very angry that this site and app are completely defective and I cannot get any sort of help on this issue. I will NEVER buy here again.

We were thrilled to find the shirt my mom had seen on Facebook on their website and ordered in hopes to arrive before Christmas. This company was by far the best we did business with. Their 'returns' system is the most complicated and un customer friendly system I have ever come across. They will do anything to stop repayment. You think it is resolved and payment is being made back to you, but no, they pay it into your Light in the Box account for you to spend again (HA HA HA) or for you to credit your own Card. Let's be real. Retailers are overpriced! I was able to buy several items for the price that I could've spent on 1 garment in American retail stores. Not every item fit right, but I was able to easily return items that were legitimately incorrectly sized. I received several very articulate communications from customer service that really very fairly explained their position as a company and my options as a consumer, and I was overall very happy with my experience. They are different from what I am used to, in a very smart and progressive way.
This company are just scammers. Really light in the box, I don't know how you are getting aways with this. This company has a huge reputation for ripping people off. They are also specialist in writing fake reviews on all their sites.
I made the mistake of buying from them. I had been sent a broken pair of shoes and when I sent them back for a refund they had only refunded me 25% of my order. Also they took 3 weeks to process it.

I don't usually write reviews, but this needs to be said because I want this company to stick around. I have ordered three dresses from Light In The Box--a formal chiffon for myself, a bridesmaid dress for my 12 yr. Old, and a flower girl dress for my 10 yr. Old. I made two separate orders, each arriving within a couple of weeks. They were very carefully packaged, complete with return instructions. And each dress came with its own "Lan Ting" cloth tote. I am so happy with the quality and value of these dresses. The measurements are precise, and the style and fit is true to what is pictured. Each dress feels like it was tailor made for us. I couldn't be happier with my experience. And my girls are thrilled with their dresses. I will definitely be using them again!

I've placed many orders with lightinthebox.com over the years and I feel that with every order I'm more and more disappointed. On my two most recent orders the order processing time was listed on each item as 1-4 days. They took 9 & 7 days to process the orders. Then when they were shipped I was provided with tracking numbers that don't work. I tried every site and resource I could find to make sure I was tracking on the proper service with no success. I understand that these are coming from china, and the lower price comes with slower shipping. But to provide incorrect/non-existent tracking numbers and to take over twice as to process my order is taking advantage of your customer. You can't even contact them to get any explanation or updates. My first few orders I was so happy with but with each one I've been more disappointed and don't think I'll order from them again.

I had a bad experience with LightInTheBox. I do not shop online just to send stuff back... I got a size 12 dress with a Size 16 lace top sewed on it. Started the returning process, they offered me an unsatisfactory deal, then they locked me out of the site. All communication ways are now closed. I just wanted to return the dress and get my money reimbursed. It was not the case with LightInTheBox. $119 down the drain. I am really disappointed with this sneaky kind of business they do. Definitely, I do NOT recommend!

All of the clothing I received was horrible quality and did not look at all like the photo they had online. They were just plain awful and the sizing was a joke. I received an XL shirt that would not fit a small person and a Med shirt (was supposed to be the same shirt as the XL) and the medium was literally larger than a 4x One was a terrible quality plain sweatshirt with a sticker posted on it and the other was a draping long gown like garment. I was appalled.would recommend finding a different company.
