When I realised that Wowcher had my money, but appeared to have no intention to supply what I had ordered, I contacted Paypal who were absolutely brilliant! Instant response and my cash was back in my account in no time at all. DON'T PAY ANY OTHER WAY!

I bought a domain name and website building plan from cabanava.com and they failed to deliver my package.

I made a claim to paypal telling them my domain name was not delivered and paypal rejected my claim based on:

"We have reviewed this transaction(s) and are denying your claim(s). This decision was made because if an item is materially similar to the seller's description, we do not consider it to be significantly not as described"

So the undelivered domain name was classed as " we do not consider it to be significantly not as described"

A very strange reaon to deny my laim even though I bought someting that was not delivered. Is paypal worth using when they do not help to refund?

I have used Paypal for online purchases and it has been fine. However, I just sold some items and the buyer transferred over $500 to my Paypal account. I tried to have those funds transferred to my regular bank account. Even though they had the correct bank account number Paypal indicated the money could not be transferred. So I then opened a Paypal account. A few days later my account was hacked and money removed by purchasing a gift certificate for some strange email given. I caught the theft and, since they don't have humans that you can talk to, I filed a claim stating that the removal of my money for some gift certificate was fraudulent. That evening I received an email from Paypal indicating that the transaction was fine and was consistent with my history. I have never purchased a gift certificate from Paypal and I have never had large funds transferred to my Paypal account so just what history is this fraudulent purchase consistent with I ask? I replied as such to the Paypal claims department and have not heard a word.

As a service provider we get paid after service is complete. PayPal decides to withhold your money for 21 days that is b.s and I will never use them for any business purposes ever again. Don't sign up for they business account they are terrible how they handle transactions. If I was a seller I can see holding funds but as a service provider they need to update how they go about holding funds this is causing a lot of problems on my end as I needed to utilize those funds for business reasons and I have to wait. I won't recommend them DON'T USE PAYPAL BUSINESS ACCOUNT THEY TRASH AND THEY TAKE A FEE AND WILL STILL HOLD YOUR FUNDS

Second time I sent money to a company to purchase something because of PayPals claim of a guaranteed safe transaction. Did the purchase on a site using the PayPal link on the site to find out the funds were sent to a scam artist of the website he, she or many created.
Long store short… PAYPAL does NOT ever guarantee your funds when buying online. Happened once and no backing from PayPal. Couple years later now it has happened again. Shame on me…or Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. As the saying goes. I say Shame on PayPal for being a lier of stating they are guarantor of funds sent. I am closing my PayPal account after this and May PayPal rott in hell for being untruthful and untrustworthy

When it comes to purchased such as on Ebay, I havent had a problem witn ebay. Until I don't get what I ordered. And will fill out everything ebay ask and it seems like they dont want to do ANYTHING About Fraudulent Accounts. They wont try to get your money back at all and after answering all their questions, they will be pretty quick to tell you there is nothing they can do, without a reason why. They should AT LEAST follow up these dirty accounts but they dont. If I ever choose to be a douche and rip people off by selling stuff then not producing, at least I know PAYPAL wont do anything to me. SMH. For that they get a 2 of 5 stars.
The only thing keeping them from a 1 is again the ease of ebay sales.
What is FUNNY is THEY KNOW THEY ARE S#IT that you cant even leave a review about their APP! WONDER How Much They Paid Google Play Store for THAT little Gem.

I opened a case on June 10th for an item I had purchased in April. The handling of the case was very unprofessionally. Paypal continued to extend the resolution date when I CLEARLY had not received my item. It has been 6 months since the date of my order and 2 months since I opened the case. Paypals actions in my opinion are completely unacceptable. I have no recourse on their decision, I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the mishandling of this case. Paypal should be appalled for such BLATANT disregard for their customers. I can only assume they planned on just continuing to extend the resolution date to suit themselves for months and for years to come...

I have been on hold we need to speak to a human being for overforty five minutes I finally hung up there is no one there I tried they're help Through texting but that is done by a machine computer no human being to help you whatsoever no help there neither Trying to retrieve my money that they took from me and there's no help.

Hey you, are you trying to steal money legally without ever getting in troubles? Good, then use paypal friends and family payments. They cannot be disputed and it doesnt matter if you dont send the product/ service or if you just steal the money and run. Paypal protects you and declines ALL the disputes made towards you, no matter the proof, if there is an FBI case on you, if other 5 people report your account and create cases to say you are doing illegal activies. IT DOESNT MATTER. PAYPAL is fraud

Recently I got a fraud on PayPal from the customer who paid for online training, received, COMPLETED and opened a case as ITEM NOT RECEIVED. I provided all possible evidence fro detailed buyers logins in each lesson, all software tracking details available on this buyers activities inside the training HOWEVER - PayPal sided with the FRAUD! This is ridiculous. I don't even have a words to describe how ethically low that could be.

I had a $50 transaction through PayPal. I never received the product ordered and paid for. After weeks of trying to reach the vendor without response, I requested Dispute Resolution to cancel the order and return my Amex charge. I waited weeks without a response and inquired regarding the status of my case. Finally got a response that my claim was declined without an explanation why. I wrote back restating the details and asking how they could decline my claim. I received a response: We have reviewed this transaction(s) and are denying your case(s). This decision was made because we received shipment tracking from the merchant confirming that the merchandise was delivered. I wrote back and asked how they could of made that determination when they did not contact me and I never received the products purchased? I requested to see the support for their decision and a phone number to speak with someone to voice my complaint. I never received a response. I have made approximately 25 transactions over the past few years using PayPal without a delivery incident. This was the first involving their customer support. I am extremely disappointed they did not respond and basically assisted in the theft of my money. Fortunately I made 1 call to Amex and they refunded me for my loss. I will try to avoid further use of PayPal and suggest using your credit cards dispute services rather than PayPal's dispute group that is non-responsive and must be lazy or one-sided in dispute reviews.

They handle accounts poorly. Instead of vetting businesses at the start of opening an account, without personal contact or prior notification, at some point they FREEZE EVERY ACCOUNT as part of their "account review." But they CONTINUE TO COLLECT AND KEEP YOUR MONEY, & treat you like a criminal until you upload your DL & proof that you gave a service or product to several customers. As a psychologist, this practice violates client confidentiality. Some businesses would not be able to handle the sudden loss of income for a week.

There's no way round using paypal if you bid on ebay, but their technolgy is crap, the site is slow and incredibly hard to navigate and their customer service seems t be asleep!

Costumer send me money on PayPal and thet put 21 days holiday e on money and when you call to resolve they say it's 2 hour wait and never get to your call so I gave up and waiting for 700 dollars to clear and after that never more using this Giant scam app.

I have never been treated so badly in any retail experience. Every transaction I'm treated like a crook even when I tried to withdraw through one of their affiliate companies and $300 just came up missing. They blamed me and said that I have to hunt my money down. They expected me to do thier job for them and when i told them i would not, they then said "case closed" in favor of them. How can a company be allowed to be thier own judge? They never have to, nor intend to, take responsibility for any wrong doing what so ever. And it is because they never have to speak to or see the "suckers" they call customers. My $300 was refunded 8 months later and not only did i get no apology they now have a hold on my account because of suspicious behavior. It was thier transaction that is in question. They are not going to lift it either. It feels unreal. Before that i was making lots if sales. $9,000 worth every customer gave me a perfect rating and they still held my funds for 21 days. The only agency i am aware of who holds money for 21 days exactly is the IRS when they put a levy on your accounts. I feel like i am actually paying to go to work. Freaking bizzarro world. Paypal is an escrow service nothing more. They should not have the power of a government agency. I wish i had the time and mental strength to go through a extensive investigation and lawsuit but the past year has been taxing enough to say the least. PAYPAL NEEDS TO BE STOPPED!

PAYPAL SCREWED UP MY ACCOUNTS SO BAD FROM A SIMPLE REQUEST TO PAY MY MOTHER'S PAYPAL CREDIT (WHO HAS DEMENTIA AND IS NOW INSANE) IT IS NOT FIXABLE. THEY QUESTIONED ME TO SPEAK TO MY MOM OVER AND OVER, NOT UNDERSTANDING WHAT DEMENTIA IS I GUESS. THESE PEOPLE ARE RUDE, CARELESS WITH FEELINGS AND INEPT TO THE NTH DEGREE IN BUSINESS! AVOID! Edit: they can be good, depending on whom you deal with, I've had horrible experiences like above, and I've had good experiences. Inconsistent.

Just a scam
July 9, 2020

I recomend NOT using Paypal. I used this to accept payments from clients and hold onto money. When i checked my account, over $1000 was missing, being spent all over the world. When i try to contact customer service, i get no response. While i was online with their "online tech support", 2 more charges popped up WHILE I WAS TEXTING WITH A REPRESENTATIVE! This is outrageous and shady business practices. They wont even reply so i can withdraw the remaining money in the account.
