Sometimes my inbox may have media from sites I deal with on an occasional basis. This may result in deleting the e mail. Note that Pay Pal will only deal with retailers who have Pay Pal accounts. This is what I understood from a recent communication. So, don't delete any communications from Pay Pal. May even be a good idea to go to the site to verify the changes, and how they effect you.
Pay Pal is a safe, and efficient way of dealing with the internet. But, if my understanding is correct the retailer you utilize, for a purchase will have to be a Pay Pal member also. If not, this could cost you delays that may be important to you, and intolerable, for your business needs. I know terms of service reading can be time consuming, boring, but this change, if I understand it correctly should be understood by anyone using a Pay Pal account.
Quitting PayPal today after 20 years or so. I've used it almost exclusively in the past, I felt the safety of being protected. The last 3-4 disputes all went the other way - mostly Chinese garbage sellers who know how to game PayPal. This time, they charged me tax - not US tax mind you - of $22 and change on a $113 transaction. The tax was not on the invoice before I clicked compete purchase. It was on the receipt they sent me in email. So they just stole $22, I disputed it and PayPal sided with the seller. Goodbye PayPal, you piece of garbage of a company run mostly by garbage foreigners who all hate Americans. Well, $#*! you and goodbye then. Plenty good alternatives. Let's start a movement and all quit PayPal.
I have contacted Paypal about a fraudulent company. I bought steel shelves and they sent me small plastic rubbish. Paypal insisted I must return stuff back to them and submit proof and then only will Paypal refund me. Bought the shelves for $29. Cost to return $45. Value of plastic rubbish is $1. No logic. I have also contacted Paypal on numerous emails and submitted proof that company has also done this to numerous other people. Now Paypal refuses to refund me because I didn't submit proof of stuff that was returned. Paypal claims to protect us against fraudulent customers and failed to protect me. PAYPAL IS USELESS!
So rude. Period. Talks over you. Doesn't let you finish a sentence then when he let me ask my question he asked me why I would do that? Both times I've used this service I have to call in and both times were so rude. Be nice. It's simple. We all have jobs and we all deal with customers. Have respect or stay in your own country
I use Paypal for many years for personal purposes and my websites. Their service is OK. But they lock my account and get my balance of several hundred dollars out this year all of the sudden without more explanations. I called and email their customer service many times and they do nothings. I do not know what's wrong and they do not give me any chances to fix the possible problem. I can only guess that I sell some herbal and natural products (Not e-cigarettes!) in one of my websites helping people quitting smoking. Be careful, do not trust them, and do not keep more in your account. It's a risk and they may wipe it out any time!
Not only can you not reach anyone when there is an issue but when you finally do, you get hung up on. I have been a customer with PayPal for along time and still not able to access my funds they are holding onto. I called several times, was on hold for over hours then get hung up on. I then email them and get a generic email back. The same email is sent to me each time. I them message them and get someone who says how may I help you. Once I ask them what it is I am asking, they disappear. I even went to there Facebook page to see if I have better luck. Well no luck. Why is PayPal going down hill so bad. What has happened to this company?
Honestly, I do not understand why the company with the worst customer service ever still exist. PayPal guarantees you full protection if you did not receive the goods or the quality of goods is poor. In fact, it is not true.
I booked flight tickets and paid via PayPal. The flight was cancelled, the seller refused to give money back. I opened the dispute. PayPal closed without explaining the reason. I asked three times to explain the reason, they simply ignore all my questions. They even cannot explain their decisions. People who work there in customer support have 0 willingness to help, to understand the issue and to be professional. They are not able to listen the clients, they do not value them and they will not help you in case of any problems. Avoid this company!
I just tried to make a payment on the phone to a bot voice. It ignored my answers and said, "let's start over" several times. I finally made a payment which was late because I had not received ANY notifications by mail of payment due. I doubt I will EVER use them for payments again!
It takes most all merchant services one day to transfer money from my customers to my bank account- It takes PayPal one week or longer to transfer funds- during this time PayPal collects interest on my money(and everyone elses) this should be illegal! Get a merchant account at any bank offering merchant accounts if you want fast transfers! I believe non business people are using this outrageous service from PayPal? Sucks!
How does their business work? Only half the time do they recognize my password. I only use it to send money to my son now. Sometimes I try it (like just now) to buy something. Then they joke they dont think my password is right. Sure. No problem. I have other easy ways to pay. Just puzzled and curious why they enjoy messing with me. Some bored millennial sabotaging the business?
Long story short I used them to buy items over seas since it's famous for having issue. Got my product but it was defective, everyone agreed including the seller. But they wanted me to pay over what I paid to buy the item to ship it back. And resulted in them telling me I was just screwed. Don't trust them just get a good credit card, they don't pull this bull.
Bad experience with Banggood.com faulty goods no customer service as such you know the usual crap from China.
Anyhow I had to involve Paypal and they would only invoke the buyer protection guarantee thingy if I payed the £15 shipping costs on a £20 purchase, go figure...
Needless to say lesson learned I will stay away from Banggood.com and only purchase from the UK.
Paypal does tend to work better if you buy within your country of origin, from my experience anyway.
This review is based on my experience only, Pay Pal as worked well for me in the UK, but having said that I have never had an experience from a UK company as bad as they are at Banggood.com
I can only give one star based on the whole experience, I would expect no problems when taking money so I do not give brownie points for that I can only base it on when things go wrong...
Pay pal was great before E BAY has purchased it! Even the previous owner is furious and threaten them many times to cancel the contract and buy it back for their bad practices toward all!
Now it is a monopoly and a dictatorship just like their site! If you can avoid it please do? Otherwise watch out for your money? E Bay will take it at will and nothing there you can do.
After receiving an order for an item online, my customer insisted on using PayPal to transfer the funds to me. I agreed, and gave him the email address to send the credit card payment to. The money was placed on Hold with PayPal until I could update the transaction with tracking information. I shipped the item out to the customer, and it arrived 4 days later, which was two days later than the 2nd Day Air service that I paid for. PayPal states that "you will be paid within one day of delivery," but this is not true. My order arrived two days ago, and they still have my funds on hold and refuse to release them to me.
No wonder people don't use PayPal as much as they once did...when eBay owned the entity.
Any junk business can charge your account at will once they have your financial information.
Paypal don't even ask for your approval, and transactions are completed before notification, there is no "Hold" on any transaction, some scammers can directly charge your account and paypal can do nothing about it, don't use it for payment or link bank account to it for auto payment
I have used paypal for well over 10years. I have never once had a customer ask for a refund. And I have only requested a refund once, myself. My account was permanently closed falsely stating that I've had a high number or charge backs which could not be further from the truth. I even received an email saying one of my clients asked for a refund-which we are still doing business and he has communicated how satisfied he is with our working relationship. Paypal is not trustworthy for business.
I ordered an item using PayPal. Paid $156 only to find out once it was received that it is counterfeit and was ultimately seized by the USPS. PayPal denied my request for a Refund because I didn't provide a tracking number for the returned merchandise. How can I provide a tracking number for something that was seized for being illegal and counterfeit? PayPal didn't even read, nor care about my situation. They simply just denied the request. No wonder their customer ratings suck. I won't be using them again
I was told a charge had been placed against my account for $533.00 from "IKEA." I did not buy anything from that store and have never used PayPal for that kind of money. At that point I had not used PayPal for four months. I filed a complaint and was told I "didn't have anything to worry about." Well they approved the transaction telling me that it "is consistent with your PayPal transaction history." A complete lie. There is nothing in my transaction history about this charge. I never received an order confirmation from PayPal. I do not have a receipt or even a transaction number. Do NOT use PayPal. I have closed my account and will never EVER recommend those thieves.
I use paypal very frequently for a variety of purchases, money transfers, etc. I use it to pay if it is an option (which is my preference). There are organizations that I transfer money to on a regular basis and paypal makes this very easy. Have not ever had a problem with it. I feel comfortable knowing my transaction is secure and don't have to worry about my information being sold or stolen. I like it and will continue to use it.
I purchased an 11 piece cookware set for $30 online from a Company stated to be based out of the UK using Paypal. I received a pair of nail clippers from China that I could have purchased at my local pharmacy for $3. When I contacted the company to state that the incorrect item had been sent, I was offered a 50%, then 25% then 75% discount to keep the clippers - an item not even listed for sale on their website - and the item I purchased was not offered. I contacted Paypal to dispute the transaction as a scam. Paypal told me the only way to get a refund was to file a claim with the US Governments Online Fraud team (which I did and provided proof) and to mail the clippers back to china (approx. $20 fee). When I questioned why Paypal states that I should pay approx. $10 to have an incorrect item sent to me I received no adequate response and my case was closed with no refund.
Answer: I would not recommend PayPal to anyone for anything they're a joke of a business
Answer: Paypal will NOT be on your side if the item is not as described. I bought an item that was totally wrong, advertised as "handmade, hand quilted, made of brushed Kona cotton", picture was beautiful with wonderful quilting and vibrant colors and I was buying from a company from Texas. I received an item from Texas, not handmade, not hand quilted, not vibrant colors, not brushed cotton and it was just a picture printed on cheap polyester/nylon fabric. Hideous. I paid $99.90. Company first offered to refund $30, nope, still way too expensive for a cheap quilt that I wouldn't even use for my pets. Then said if I return the "quilt" to China at my expense they would refund the money. Cost to return? $70. Paypal agreed with this company, denied my claim and I'm sitting here with something I would feel cheated if I paid $10. Paypal is not the company it once was. Use your credit card as that company will have your back. Looking to see what a better option is than Paypal. 20 year customer and I'm done. I do not think anyone actually reads our messages to Paypal.
Answer: They have become a money laundry scamming allowing company. Stay away at any cost.
Answer: USPS delievered it to the wrong address my pacakge was supposed to be delievered too 35710 Bay Morgan Ln, Fallbrook, CA 92028 when USPS delivered it to an address simillar to this one 12354 Alcatal Street (do not know the exact address since they did not email me, but you can call USPS and ask, and that is how I found out) Fallbrook, CA 92028, right city and zip code, far away address.
Answer: I'm thinking someone has to work there, if you send messages you will get a canned reply, I get the same response from 10 messages, basically "suck it up buttercup, you have just been played" but if you try to actually talk to a person good luck.
Answer: They dont. They wait for you to forget it. You get money back if you fill in a form after 180 days.
Answer: Do never send money to PayPal. That money is lost. This company has become a Giants money laundry company.
Answer: No there is not. PayPal protects scammers. Be sure to never use them.
Answer: It doesn't matter if you report them or not PayPal won't do nothing about it they continued to let the scammers operate on their site and do not protect consumers
Answer: SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE WITH THAT LOT, THEY CLAIM TO REFUND AMOUNTS PAID FOR ITEMS THAT DO NOT ARRIVE THATS "BS" I HAVE HAD 3 SUCH CLAIMS FROM 14 TRANSACTIONS AND HAVE NEVER GOT A REFUND DESPITE THEIR CLAIMS, THEY ARE CROOKS, FULL STOP, KEEP WELL CLEAR OF THEM.
