Has been using Paypal for a very long time now, never had any issues what so ever. Had some problems before while investing using Paypal but had a very good support getting my money back. The company that tried to scam me called Pepperstone, was not happy about the service but was able to get a full refund due to PayPal support.

1 week ago I made a small purchase on a Facebook advertisement to take an IQ test. It was a one time payment. Then a week later, today, I am suddenly charged $58.80 by the same company for what I have no idea as it was not authorised. I made this payment through Paypal so assumed my money would be recovered from these scammer so I raised a case.
Not even 30 minutes later I receive an email saying that my case has been refused! So either Paypal supports scammers or else I can no longer trust them with making payments any more! The trust factor was the only reason I use Paypal. So now I can no longer trust them I will no longer be using Paypal and will be closing my account with them. Their loss as they would make more than that in fees every week from me. Goodbye Paypal!
I run a small online business, and as of today, we do NOT accept pay pal payments. Our service is a monthly service, which means you end up being billed multiple months as long as you are using it. Well, apparently if you sign up with paypal, for my site you can just cancel payments via pay pal and keep using the site. Awful.
If you want to wait 3 weeks to get your money after a straight forward sale on the now scam ridden E bay and be charged $8's or so for the privilege, (after being forced to give your bank details rather than have them Credit the dedicated debit card you normally use online) then go right ahead and use the rip of system. The fact that they get 3 weeks of interest free money from me for nothing and charge me for doing so, and then rub it in by telling me that they wont charge me again for transferring my money to my account, which by the way will take up to another 5 business days, destroys any faith I once had in either company.
Alternatives fortunately exist, bye bye E bay, bye bye Pay Pal.
I use the service for cases where I`m not sure if the transaction will work out(I mean the cases I could lose some of my money or bank info or whatever else concerning my accounts). Perfectly suitable for these needs, but after some issues with this business I`m not ready to use it for something serious in terms of transactions and storing the funds.
After contacting PayPal within an hour of an accidental money transfer, they refused to cancel it. I wrote to the stranger who received the money to please send it back and she basically thanked me for the free money. PayPal is a horrible service that can't determine when accidents happen. I can't understand how hard it is to just cancel a transaction if customer service can tell that it was a mistake.
I received money from a customer for services rendered as a one time courtesy to my customer. Typically I would only accept check or credit card directly to my business bank account. Not only was I charged over $17 for the service, they are holding the money for a variety of ridiculous reasons. It was sent to me, it is none of their business what it is for. It is not up to them to determine my selling status or anything else to release the funds. No options for customer service other than a chat function that isn't even a live human just a bot that takes you to different places you have already checked. As soon as I get my money I will be deleting my account and their app. Too many better options out there than this
Contacted their customers service and was directed to so many different places despite providing them with so many information. Only after more than 1 and half months when i threaten to sue did they resolve the matters which could have been settle if some of their customer service actually read the information that i have sent so many weeks ago! So disappointed and insulted by them.
If there is any discrepancies they lock you out of your account and you can not reuse the account. Customer service is the worst I have ever used the last 20 years very poor actually no help at all... They not recommended just use your credit card its cheaper and not fees for scams they pull with the charges...
Attempted to get help with an item that needed to be returned to vendor. Called several times and was finally told they could not help as I only had 20 days to dispute a purchase. I had called way before 20 days but they still would not assist. Last time I called I was on the phone for 40 minutes waiting for a representative. I am very disappointed in their customer service. Will not use their service anymore.
Everybody on the internet knows that paypal is a bunch of pigs. They'll ban you for no reason, freeze your account for no reason, and they pride themselves over protecting customers. No protection, period.
Paypal seem to have really cleaned up their act in recent years, I had many problems with them in the early days but recently have needed help with a few issues and have been impressed by their support.
Don't do business of any kind with this co. PayPal puts your money on hold. They lie and say they will release it. It was money needed to pay bills. Going through HELL already. Now paypal decides to keep my money. Product is already sold.
Received payment from customer. Pay pal immediately took their fee, which is higher that credit card processing and has put a 21 day hold on the payment. The payment was for materials. Now I can't but the materials. Will delete pay pay as soon as they release funds. This is outrageous!
Their customer is a joke and they will ignore your issues. What an absolute joke! After my money is no longer being "held" I'm deleting the app and will never use their services again. I hope companies like Venmo and cash app put them out of business. They are a fraud!
Have had a personal and business account with PayPal for years. Integrates well with my website. Easy to use PayPal Here at live events. The few times over the years that I had any problem, customer service was very responsive and helped until a positive resolution was achieved.
PayPal is one of the worst companies EVER! My recipient never got either payment, and the customer service Pay Pal site made it worse. Instead of allowing me to find the money, which is lost in space, my attempts for help made a fraud claim on it, which is simply not the case. Pay Pal failed to deliver the payment, and took fees on top if it, also now lost. One of the payments even had bank fees on top of Paypal fees. Do yourself a favor -- just write a check. They have no customer service and I am more than frustrated now...
My account was hacked and multiple gift cards were purchased I called immediately and told them and they opened a case but then come back to me and said that I am the one who made the purchase. Do not use PayPal it's not worth it. Also this was my second PayPal account my first one randomly got shutdown and they said they are holding all the money for 180 days. PayPal is a scam do not use them they will steal your money and not let you access it.

Terrible company with useless service. They have such convoluted policies that even their customer service is not able to clarify what it means. I made a payment to a customer and the customer asked me to cancel the transaction as the shipping address was incorrect. Paypal put the transaction on hold and said that it is under review. This is even after calling their support team. Can you imagine that? They told me that it was under review for 24 hours. But they could not tell me why it was under review.
Keep in mind that I am the payer and I called to cancel and they are reviewing me?. No wonder their share price is struggling and dropped from $350 to $60. Clearly in the dumps. A terrible company and must be avoided at all costs. Use Venmo, Stripe, and Square or the bank directly to pay.
Because they do not treat people very well, they just do not care. I had my account frozen in 2012. I was quite naive at the time so I was buying items from EBay I did not always like them, so because there was a few disputes my account got frozen, I said I was sorry but unfortunately there is no second chances. I open other accounts and they would find out after a time. I am very lucky that Ebay have made different payments which is a god send for me, but I wanted to buy from another company, but guess what they would only take PayPal, this company is a nuisance. I just wish they would go. Who needs PayPal, when there other ways to pay. Apple Pay G pay. I can't see the point in PayPal. Answer: Paypal will NOT be on your side if the item is not as described. I bought an item that was totally wrong, advertised as "handmade, hand quilted, made of brushed Kona cotton", picture was beautiful with wonderful quilting and vibrant colors and I was buying from a company from Texas. I received an item from Texas, not handmade, not hand quilted, not vibrant colors, not brushed cotton and it was just a picture printed on cheap polyester/nylon fabric. Hideous. I paid $99.90. Company first offered to refund $30, nope, still way too expensive for a cheap quilt that I wouldn't even use for my pets. Then said if I return the "quilt" to China at my expense they would refund the money. Cost to return? $70. Paypal agreed with this company, denied my claim and I'm sitting here with something I would feel cheated if I paid $10. Paypal is not the company it once was. Use your credit card as that company will have your back. Looking to see what a better option is than Paypal. 20 year customer and I'm done. I do not think anyone actually reads our messages to Paypal.

Answer: USPS delievered it to the wrong address my pacakge was supposed to be delievered too 35710 Bay Morgan Ln, Fallbrook, CA 92028 when USPS delivered it to an address simillar to this one 12354 Alcatal Street (do not know the exact address since they did not email me, but you can call USPS and ask, and that is how I found out) Fallbrook, CA 92028, right city and zip code, far away address.
Answer: I'm thinking someone has to work there, if you send messages you will get a canned reply, I get the same response from 10 messages, basically "suck it up buttercup, you have just been played" but if you try to actually talk to a person good luck.
