I just want to let whoever use PayPal just to inform you if you ever get scammed and you go through the process of reporting it just so you know they will deny you and not pay you back. Somebody scam me and I reported it and let them know and they denied my report and said they are not going to pay me back now I'm going to let the better business bureau no and file a claim on PayPal so I just want to let you guys know be careful with PayPal
Forgot the password. Requested code sent to email, received it, entered it. Next, they ask for a second validation, and only option is via phone; I've since switched numbers, so that's not viable. No other options. Only access to customer service is via phone, NO EMAIL CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR AN ONLINE COMPANY! Well, I'm abroad the UK and can't afford roaming tariffs. I can't contact them, can't reset the password, can't create a new account with my email (only a different one)... So I guess I'm screwed. Thanks, PayMoron.

Last year I lost quite a huge some of money on Paypal after my account got hacked. I'm glad to say that i've finally been able to recover some of the money i lost BIG THANKS TO PAYPBACK SERVICE. I've always been skeptical about asset recovery companies but i'm glad i gave them a chance. If you're having also issues you should check them out. 100% recommend Payback Service
I have proof of how Paypal won't help you if you are scammed! This is a serious problem! People with thief identity offering services are tricking people into sending money as friend, if you fall into doing that PAYPAL will DO NOTHING! They allowed this scammers to keep going instead of saying, "Ok we can't give you the money but we will freeze the account of this person," or "We are going to follow up about this email," NOTHING!
On 7/19/2020! I got a text message from my credit I have a pending transaction $114 then I got a email from PayPal for the purchase with a USPS tracking number when I click on the tracking number show my item was delivered on 7/18/202 then I try to call PayPal on Monday no one pick up so I email PayPal try to stop the transaction long and short story they said that not a unauthorized transaction so I have to call my credit card to stop the transaction then they issued me a new card but I my new card not even home PayPal let other transaction go to again so I have to call my credit card stop one more transaction then I close PayPal account, PayPal used to be good customer service but now is a joke stay away from PayPal
Let's get real and talk about a transaction that occurred with me recently. Through Ebay I sold an item. Ebay provided me with the buyer's address. I mailed out the package. After the tracking number said the package was delivered, the buyer contacts me and tells me I've sent his package to the wrong town. It turns out this used to be his address a couple of years ago. He changed his address years ago, yet Ebay displayed the "wrong address". How would I have known this was the buyer's previous address - and knowing that would have sent it there? It was a computer malfunction, Ebay won't admit to it and Paypal is trying to stick me with the bill. I won't have it - there's no reason I should pay for Ebay's error. Paypal colludes with Ebay, now claiming I owe them the $69.81 (by corresponding with the buyer, he sounds like a nice guy, and I'm glad he's been reimbursed). As it is today, Paypal cannot reach their hand into my account and remove that money; but if new legislation were to prevail: that could happen. Paypal engages in dishonest practices, and as I've said, collusion. Make no mistake about it. Beware, and I'd advise against providing Paypal with any of your information. In closing, if you like handling cyanide, you're going to love the way Paypal handles you.
Fur Babies Rescue is a very small domestic animal rescue in Hickory, NC. 100% of all funds received into the rescue are used to make the lives of domestic animals better. This is an organization run by volunteers. No one takes a salary or receives any financial compensation. All of our volunteers are local professionals working together to make our community better.
Fur Babies Rescue had used PayPal to accept donations and also use it for a fundraising tool. We found out the hard way that PayPal can freeze an account and hold the money for 180 days. The account was frozen and now PayPal has control of $1,693.22 of the rescue's funds. Those funds were going to help spay/neuter and vaccinate approximately 20 animals in need. We had to cancel the trip to the spay clinic that was scheduled for September 20,2023.
We should have done our homework before signing up to use PayPal. If you Google "PayPal froze my account" you will find many horror stories and lawsuits because PayPal froze accounts.
There isn't an easy way to dispute the account freeze or get help from PayPal. If we were a larger group with national support we could possibly fight it but we are just a small group of volunteers. We will have to work harder to raise more money and hope we get that money back from PayPal at the end of the 180 days.
This is not the way to treat a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit. I hope others learn about this issue and protect their money from PayPal.

If I could give 0 stars I would. PayPal fraud protection is a JOKE!. I had Fraud on all my linked PayPal accounts and was only able to get my money back because I contacted the company that all the of the purchases were made to and they refunded me back. I told PayPal about my account being hacked and they told me that it wasn't fraud, it was me making the purchases. So I called them directly and the representative GUARANTEED Me that no one had my account information. This was all being told to me while many purchases were being made. So I removed all my cards from PayPal and will be closing out my account. PayPal is a joke and I highly recommend all people go elsewhere as the service at PayPal is horrible and their rating reflects this.
I ORDERED AN ITEM FROM A WEBSITE I DIDN'T KNOW EXISTED IN CHINA, NO INDICATIONS AT ALL. THE PRODUCTS I RECEIVED WAS NOT WHAT I ORDERED AND WHILE SELLER ADMITS TO THIS PAYPAL DECIDED THAT IN ORDER FOR ME TO GET A FULL REFUND I WILL HAVE TO PAY OVER $100 IN SHIPPING TO GET BACK $53.44. TO ME THIS SEEMS AS IF I AM AT FAULT. THE COURIER SERVICE ADVISED ME AGAINT TAKING THE RISK AND PAYPAL REFUSE TO PROTECT ME EVEN WHEN THEY HAVE MESSAGE OF THE SELLER SAYING THIS: "Dear Customer, Thanks for your response. There is a little difference between ads and the real product. We don't have the totally same product". NOW HOW AM I THE ONE PAYING FOR SHIPMENT. THIS IS A SCAM AND I ALSO PROVIDE PAYPAL WITH PROOF OF THE SELLER DOING THIS TO OTHER BUT PAYPAL KEEP PROTECTING THESE SELLERS FROM CHINA. PAYPAL ALSO ADVISED ME TO DISPUTE WITH MY BANK AND MY BANK DISPUTED WITH PAYPAL AND PAYPAL TOOK THE MONEY BACK FROM MY ACCOUNT... PAYPAL=SCAMMERS
Their buyer protection program is a JOKE!. They give the sellers 10 days to respond to your request for a refund and when you escalate the claim they give the seller another 10 days to respond. WAY TOO LONG!
Blocked my account for no reason! Their support is absolutely useless, was trying to reach out to them to submit supportive documents, all I get is just a standard response

I went on their website to change my account password and I did but when I went back to the PayPal app and tried to login it still said invalid password so I went back to the website and did it again and again when I tried to login to my account it still doesn't work so what are they there for if they don't even help or fix the problem and it has been over a week now and still nothing has been done or even a response from PayPal
Local shops are starting to use this service. Makes forgetting your wallet a thing of the past. Great addition to the services already offered. Use it regularly.
They Were Bothering Me On Outlook Saying That They Had Purchased Some Kind Of Merchandise Without My Consent During The Month Of September! It Was All Spam And Phishing! I Am About To Terminate My Outlook Account And I Will Back Up All Of My Pokemon Empathy Project As To Get PayPal To Stop Bothering Me! Then I Will Report These Few Phishing Attacks To Malwarebytes And Cybersight, Since PayPal Has Been Handling My Money Abusively! I'm Reporting The Phishing Attacks Within The Next 30 Minutes.
Unpredictable, untrustworthy and pretty much un usable. Can be a good service but for one reason or another they will ALWAYS end up shafting you, and thats a simple fact
PayPal also doesn't have to much support for their seller. Their system is very much gamed by the buyer. You can easily file disputes and make ridiculous claims just to keep the item & money.
I use paypal for ebay to buy and to sell. I haven't had any problems with using paypal as payment because it protects me in that i won't get scammed out of money or something.
I filed a dispute with PayPal on May 22,2020. It was pretty cut and dried. I ordered 5 tops. I received 3. Each of those were a different size - one of which was a small. ( I wear L/XL) One was the wrong color. In addition, the tops that did come were not of the quality depicted in the photos. According to the company my order was "Complete". Bear in mind this is after waiting a month for my order to come. I attempted, more than once, to get this taken care of through the seller with no luck. I then accelerated this to a Pay Pay dispute claim on May 22. They told me to have no further contact with the seller. I asked about returning the items I had gotten. The response I got was that any contact with the seller would end the claim process and they would give me the results of their investigation within a couple of weeks. Now, here it is, July 14,2020 - 8 WEEKS LATER. There has been absolutely no action taken. The only result I have is the date for resolution keeps getting put back on an almost daily basis. I get NO FEEDBACK on what, if anything is being done, AND it is now TOO LATE to return my items. In other words, because I used Pay Pal for my purchase, I am out my entire purchase price and am left with items I can't wear.
Never deal with PayPal they hold your money and then tell you it takes 10 days to transfer into your account, fees are through the roof and there is no explanation into what the fees are for, crooks!

I bought an item that was totally wrong, advertised as "handmade, hand quilted, made of brushed Kona cotton", picture was beautiful with wonderful quilting and vibrant colors and I was buying from a company from Texas. I received an item from Texas, not handmade, not hand quilted, not vibrant colors, not brushed cotton and it was just a picture printed on cheap polyester/nylon fabric. Hideous. I paid $99.90. Company first offered to refund $30, nope, still way too expensive for a cheap quilt that I wouldn't even use for my pets. Then said if I return the "quilt" to China at my expense they would refund the money. Cost to return? $70. Paypal agreed with this company, denied my claim and I'm sitting here with something I would feel cheated if I paid $10. Paypal is not the company it once was. Use your credit card as that company will have your back. Looking to see what a better option is than Paypal. 20 year customer and I'm done. I do not think anyone actually reads our messages to Paypal.

Answer: I'm thinking someone has to work there, if you send messages you will get a canned reply, I get the same response from 10 messages, basically "suck it up buttercup, you have just been played" but if you try to actually talk to a person good luck.
