I highly advise all of you to not use PAYPAL, they have stolen around 2,000 USD from me from my legitimate business, they say suspicious activity and steal all your funds, PAYPAL is disgusting and do not use this terrible service.
Paypal is so far the best online money transfer site I have used. Not to mention the client confidentiality they provide to their customers. Highly recommend this site to anyone.
Thankyou
I usually shop with the PayPal account, I have since 2014. I had 3 situations when they returned my money after I opened a dispute and proved my point. Wonderful service!
PayPal treat people with a disability like crap they do not recognise the Disability Act 2010 to make reasonable adjustments what is the disgrace in this day and age
This was not my first problem with Paypal but it will be my last. I attempted to make a large purchase w/ Paypal but the merchant pulled the money from the wrong acct so the transaction never went through. The merchant cancelled the order immediately and submitted a refund for the full amount to Paypal. I then reordered and used a card to finish the transaction, not using Paypal. 5 days later I see that Paypal is still holding the refund $ but I don't think anything of it bc the original transaction had been cancelled. My mistake. Today I woke up to the entire $3729 "pending" from my bank again, ready to bounce. When I contacted Paypal, they said there was nothing they could do. I spent 2.5 hours on the phone, plus on messenger and email, was told misinformation and out right lies, sent to my bank and to the merchant, told that the refund $ couldn't leave limbo until my bank denied the charge (?) etc. And nothing was resolved. Horrible customer service. Horrible policies. The money they are trying to take from me is sitting in their limbo but they won't use it. I will get at least one overdraft fee from this. Possibly more. Closing my Paypal as soon as this is resolved.
I've been a PayPal customer and credit card holder for years. But no more! I contacted them about an online purchase I made from a fraudulent clothing company called Nora Cora. The company would not allow me to return the items I needed to, In fact, they would not provide me an address for returns for weeks until I involved PayPal. But it ended up that Paypal was no better to deal with than the company who wanted me to return my items to Hong Kong! Or to give them away as gifts as they suggested. I called Paypal, I emailed Paypal, I responded to their online customer service. They just kept sending me Form responses. They told me to return the items on the same day that Nora Cora told me they would not accept the items because it was beyond the 15 days... yet it took them eight weeks to deliver. PayPal denied my claim because I did not pay to return the items to Hong Kong in order to receive tracking information. Cut up my PayPal card. They did not have my back. I'll never use them again. American Express would have helped me!
First I want to say the site I bought from I don't believe is fraudulent however there was a mistake made along the way in crediting back that was the wrong amount. Now it is complicated because the way they billed was multiple billings but the way they credited was lump sum. I could not get both companies to communicate to figure out the error which forced me to file a dispute. The menu for filing a dispute does not allow for this scenario where I didn't need to return the consumable item however still promised credit. I had to mark the box saying I returned it. It also does not allow you to file a dispute on multiple charges just one so what I was asking for did not align with a single charge. Nobody I spoke with in customer service could fathom this scenario. Anyway I muddled through the menus by marking the options as closely to the truth as I could just so the two companies would speak with each other. Seriously it shouldn't be this hard to get what was promised to you. I have email proof of everything yet getting someone to look at the proof is impossible. I still have not gotten resolution but hopeful.
Edit: I did get credit however it was about $5 short because it was billed in multiple billings so I had to file a dispute for the other $5. So silly I know but it's the principle of getting what was promised.
First Time I open account with PayPal, my sister sent me money for helping my dad medical bill.
Only $1800 hundred's 'dollars, in icons show if transfer into my Bank, money come in minutes fee $25 and if transfer into my Bank from 1 day to 3 days is free no charge.
I wants to transfer money come to my Bank for 3 days with no charge, but the way they set up to truck people, I keep transfer but keeps rejecting say couldn't transfer at this time, I tries few time, then security lock it doesn't let me
So I have to called customer service 2 times, first spoke with a girl, after tried, she say she couldn't does it.
Tomorrow I call back, speak with a guy, he tries, little while, and say, system is lock, needs wait for 24 hours before login again.
I couldn't waited that long, after one day, I login, and it's let me login, then tries transfer money that icon say in minutes money will be in my Bank, this time it's let me and charge $25 dollars fee.
After transfer it say have to waits at least 24 hours, before money come in to my bank.
So all this are lie, to trick people, so they can make money, and creates more complicate.
I would try other websites transfer money, not use PayPal again.
Some Wish stole $1011 from my PayPal, what is funny I opened dispute with PayPal and they declined it, they said payment was autarised, but in payment not even my name fake name, fake address, fake cellphone, how did this happened and why so large company like PayPal doesnt want help me...
I used PayPal on my Raverly site for payments to my written crochet patterns. After making 2 sales, PayPal locked my account due to "unusual activity" (still have no idea what they were talking about). I submitted all the documents they asked for, waiting multiple days (after they said it would only take one) and talked with 4 different people to try and solve the issue. Three of those people just closed the chat without doing a damn thing. The fourth said he would escalate my case, but the next day my account was completely locked. So after submitting all the documents MULTIPLE TIMES they still shut down my account WITH MY MONEY INSIDE. I lost out on pattern sales and literally lost some of my money. STICK WITH VENMO.
This company charge whit out tell you nothing I buy something that cost 20 dollar a month later I have on my account 40 dollar for no reason I didn't buy anything just that I close that PayPal account not recommended I did one star because that's not have negative stars.
PayPal fees are exorbitant…. Customer service nonexistent and just recently realized I was being scammed and PayPal was right there in the thick of it…. Closed my account…good riddance
They stole my money and banned my account permanently for no reason! I can't contact them and they didn't refund me...
I used PayPal to purchase a car cover. Unfortunately it was not what my husband expected, so I had to return it. The car cover vendor told me a certain amount would be removed from shipping costs, but they ended up doubling the amount they told me it would cost, so I after trying to contact the vendor, I went to PayPal to resolve it. They put in a dispute for me, and a few days later said the vendor said they charged me the correct amount. I contacted PayPal to give them more evidence of the overcharged amount, but I had to stay online for 20 min to get through to someone in a foreign country, then they worked on getting me a "credit" due to the inconvenience I had suffered. But when I got off the phone, I realized they had not given me a confirmation number, and sure enough, the next day when I went to check on the credit, it was not in my paypal account. I called them again, waited on the phone for a long time, then the people from a foreign country told me they don't give credits and they don't know why the guy would have said that. They told me to submit my info and they would get back to me. This conversation took nearly 45 minutes. I ended up going to my credit card company attached to the paypal account and had them fix the disputed amount. Pay Pal will not help you, so I no longer would recommend them when purchasing something you might have to send back or return!
They put my money on hold since November 23rd, 2018. And they were asking me to wait for up to 180 days and even give me a date I can take out my money "August 15th, 2019 they said" and until now I can take my money, it's about 400 USD.
THEY FROZE MY ACCOUNT AND WON'T GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY!
What did I do? I bought a pair of jeans on eBay?
They are so rude at paypal and have kept my $291 because I bought jeans!
I complaint to a manager who sound like she was in high school. She chuckled and said they will be holding onto my money!
PAYPAL IS A TOTAL JOKE AND THEY COULDN'T CARE LESS ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!
I went to print out my payouts for advertising expenditures for tax purposes. And although there was a list of over a dozen invoices we paid using PayPal over the past month the largest bill we paid was left off. EVEN THOUGH a little $17 payment was clearly on the list for the very same day as the largest one that was missing. So I went back to my email box to verify that we really did pay it through PayPal the same day as that little one that was showing paid and sure enough, there was a gmail email saying that we paid it.
So what would be the motive here? Why would PayPal conveniently leave off, from our printable records, of the largest invoice we paid, yet the little $17 invoice was listed?
Both were paid on the same day. All we can come up with is that PayPal is "in Kahoots" with "The Man" (that three letter govt. Agency in order to make it difficult for small businesses to kep track of their receipts.
If anyone else has experienced this please list it on this site so their corruption and greed is made clear to regular, hard working American citizens.
Digital purchase protection, forget about it!
Have a digital subscription for malware. Was sent email for a specific renewal price for each computer. Renewal charge was 3x the price in the email. Looked towards PayPal for help in recovering extra, no joy! An agreement is an agreement regardless of amount actually charged. They could have charged 100 times the agreed renewal rate and paypal won't help. They will take your money for their services by damn, but need resolution to a problem, not them, digital purchases are your problem regardless of cost. Yes I used paypal for this online purchase. BEST NOT YO USE PAYPAL FOR ANY DIGITAL PURCHASE!
I have been a PayPal user for several years, but my recent experience has left me extremely dissatisfied. On December 27,2023, I encountered a security issue with my account. Despite reaching out to PayPal's customer service in the UK, US, and Tunisia, the resolution process has been far from satisfactory.
I received conflicting information about the security of my account. Initially, I was assured that my funds were safe and that the issue would be resolved promptly. However, in a recent communication, I was informed that my account was never compromised. This inconsistency has left me frustrated and concerned about the handling of my case.
Moreover, my attempts to follow up via email have gone unanswered, leaving me without updates on the status of the refund process. The lack of clear communication and resolution has been disappointing, especially considering the urgency of the matter.
I urge PayPal to improve its customer service responsiveness and provide consistent information to users facing security issues. As a long-time user, I expected a more efficient and reliable response during this challenging time.
I hope PayPal takes this feedback seriously and works towards enhancing its customer support and security protocols.
Sincerely,
Vishal Gulati
I recently tried to catch up financially by having a small ebay yard sale. What a mistake and financial waste. Paypal, because I was a new buyer, would not even release the funds so I could pay for shipping. If I did not use their overpriced shipping service, they held my funds for 21 days, which they did. I also during that period received a purchase credit from August 22nd. I am still waiting for this credit to be available to me, although the purchase was quickly deducted from my bank. I was told via phone call that it would "take a few days". So I have to wait a few days for this credit to appear in paypal and then I will have to wait a few more days for the funds to transfer to my bank before I CLOSE THIS ACCOUNT FOREVER. FRAUDULENT!
Answer: I would not recommend PayPal to anyone for anything they're a joke of a business
Answer: Paypal will NOT be on your side if the item is not as described. I bought an item that was totally wrong, advertised as "handmade, hand quilted, made of brushed Kona cotton", picture was beautiful with wonderful quilting and vibrant colors and I was buying from a company from Texas. I received an item from Texas, not handmade, not hand quilted, not vibrant colors, not brushed cotton and it was just a picture printed on cheap polyester/nylon fabric. Hideous. I paid $99.90. Company first offered to refund $30, nope, still way too expensive for a cheap quilt that I wouldn't even use for my pets. Then said if I return the "quilt" to China at my expense they would refund the money. Cost to return? $70. Paypal agreed with this company, denied my claim and I'm sitting here with something I would feel cheated if I paid $10. Paypal is not the company it once was. Use your credit card as that company will have your back. Looking to see what a better option is than Paypal. 20 year customer and I'm done. I do not think anyone actually reads our messages to Paypal.
Answer: They have become a money laundry scamming allowing company. Stay away at any cost.

Answer: I'm thinking someone has to work there, if you send messages you will get a canned reply, I get the same response from 10 messages, basically "suck it up buttercup, you have just been played" but if you try to actually talk to a person good luck.
Answer: They dont. They wait for you to forget it. You get money back if you fill in a form after 180 days.
Answer: Do never send money to PayPal. That money is lost. This company has become a Giants money laundry company.
Answer: No there is not. PayPal protects scammers. Be sure to never use them.
Answer: It doesn't matter if you report them or not PayPal won't do nothing about it they continued to let the scammers operate on their site and do not protect consumers
Answer: SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE WITH THAT LOT, THEY CLAIM TO REFUND AMOUNTS PAID FOR ITEMS THAT DO NOT ARRIVE THATS "BS" I HAVE HAD 3 SUCH CLAIMS FROM 14 TRANSACTIONS AND HAVE NEVER GOT A REFUND DESPITE THEIR CLAIMS, THEY ARE CROOKS, FULL STOP, KEEP WELL CLEAR OF THEM.
