Pretty cool. I don't like that I have to wait for something to fully process before I can send another message. Also I wish you could use a phone calling service for Shelby county through pigeonly.com. But overall it's a neat way to stay in touch with incarcerated loved ones.

After my fiancé was incarcerated I felt completely lost. He has been gone only five days but for five very long days I have tried desperately to talk to him but my phone provider doesn't allow calls from his facility so I searched until I finally found Pigeonly. I'm still lost without him but at least I know that he now knows he hasn't lost me. And I can tell him goodnight before I go to bed with a postcard or just a photo so he doesn't feel so alone. I appreciate the emails and notifications. I'm concerned about the lack of information and explanation provided on website for specific services. Subscription cost and details of service provided is vague when I called to clarify I was spoke to as if I should know these things when clearly this is not something I'm familiar with. Still have no idea how many pictures my subscription allows me to send and unable to determine price of phone call from the prison through this subscription. Not sure what the details of the services I'm paying for are. Wish the information was clearer. I subscribed with the idea that I'll see how this goes for a month see if I can learn the ins and outs on my own as I use the account and if not I'll cancel.

One I hate the fact that you have to wait for one order to finish before starting another. Two I think it takes too long. My order was processed in like 4-5 -days and then another 5-5 for arrival too long in my opinion. Especially since I got the premium. And last but certainly not least actually this is the one that I'm most mad about you have to pay $19.99 per inmate. I thought omce buying this I could writer and send pics to more than one inmate considering my bf and brother are both locked up
So not worth it dissatisfied to say the least.

Pigeonly is like a bridge over troubled waters if you have a family member incarcerated and the facility uses Pigeonly. The greeting cards and easy use tools for letters, commissary and etc are very well thought out and computer dummy friendly. I love the service and they get 5 stars from all day.

My aunt hasn't received the letter yet, but if this works it will be life changing. We're in the middle of a pandemic and I am trying not to expose myself, but it's very important to me that my aunt knows how much we all love her and support her. I love the idea of being able to send cards and pictures. One thing I've struggled with in the past is finding holiday cards that the jail won't send back. The fact that Pigeonly sends only to inmates gives me hope that the cards won't be tossed.

I was able to send two orders of pictures in one day with no problem. Having a little trouble sending a letter. It's been "processing" for almost two days. Hopefully it's a snag that won't happen again.

I was not going to write a review, but people do need to know what to expect. There is not a lot of options out there unfortunately. The product was pretty good, but sometimes there would be double or triple transactions on your card started happing. This was happing since I got my account back in 2017. Be warn that you will be charged more than once for you subscription, so check your bank account frequently. Yes, you will get a refund once they are done with their investigation. That's not the best part! 10 months after I cancelled my subscription, you are not allowed to delete account or the card, I get charged for a subscription! Good luck everyone!

My son is 15 and I still can not visit or schedule a visit. They have you deposit money on so many accounts it's a shame. I've spent 100's of dollars I only get collect calls and I can send messages to him, no visitation.

I've had a few problems regarding money being taken out my account unauthorised. While it's frustrating (I was left with nothing in my account this month), Pigeonly DOES deal with these requests quite quick. It can take upto 7 days for it all to be investigated & the money put back in my account, however Pigeonly has it sorted within 3 days or so.
So while it's a negative experience regarding money, it IS dealt with swiftly.

As a friend of mine was incarcerated a few months ago i began looking for a convenient way to keep in touch and settled on pigeonly with its slick looking website and seemingly inexpensive service. What i discovered was that its all smoke and mirrors. Not only was it extremely deceptive in its claims of sending unlimited photos and postcards and letters, it never delivered any of the items i tried sending and continues to bill my credit card three months later despite cancelling in the first week.

If you use this service don't put your card on file for automatic payments because they will withdraw your monthly payment amount several times and it takes forever to get your money reimbursed! I have had this problem several times and it still happens. They have taken at least three payments within a month. I've complained and now I'm canceling my subscription. Oh yeah! It will not allow you to delete your card from your account so they can just boll you when they get ready!

Approximately every 4-6 months I get double billed and then my rates go up. This month I was billed $39.99 (mysteriously increased from $29.97) 9 days early on November 18th and then billed $39.99 AGAIN on November 21st. I got a text saying my communications were "paused" due to payment. I called right away and got a closed recording. I then sent an email voicing my frustration and stating I am filing a complaint with the Bureau of Prisons. Someone called me back in less than 5 minutes. HOWEVER, the rep had the audacity to say I needed to make a payment. Yep, I went off. I told her Pigeonly owed me a refund and she started acting like it was my fault and used the phrase "What you need to do...". Nope! I did what I was supposed to do. I made certain funds were available to cover my account. Now what I AM GOING TO DO is start by contacting the Bureau of Prisons to see who I file my complaint with. I will also be contacting th FCC since this is a communications network.

I was charged almost 20 times after paying in full for a 6 month subscription to every service available--which never worked. Postcards and pictures took 5-7 weeks for delivery not 3-5 days as promised. Phone number went down on multiple occasions. In addition my card was charged every few days for 5 months for $7.99. After calling and cancelling and requesting a refund the card was charged again! Infuriating. A total rip off.
Essentially a scam site. 1. First red flag, you HAVE TO set up a recurring charge on your credit card. 2. It might work for some prisoners who have to make expensive long distance calls to home and family, but it is useless for local call prisoners. But they don't tell you this on their web site. 3. I could not find a way online to cancel my account once I had initiated it. I had call an agent to cancel. We'll see if this even works. Otherwise I'll need to dispute the charges on my upcoming credit card statements. 4. To find out how the operating procedure for initiating the prisoner calls I had to go to a third party site on Youtube and that's where I realized Pigeonly was only useful if the prisoners had to make expensive long distance calls from a Federal prisoner. Really sleazy site.
Please be careful with this company $60.00 of unwanted charges and it continues. Once your in you are in until you shut down your bank account. They use overseas Indian customer service reps. Absolutely no supervisors or management. If you have been charged after requesting a refund please contact me at *******@gmail.com we will be filing a class action lawsuit against this company. Please make sure you make them email you while your on the phone. Make sure the email explains that you will be receiving a refund. Be sure to record all phone calls. Check your state wire tap laws before recording. My state has a one party consent wire tap law. So I can legally record all phone calls made to pigeonly. Don't just close your bank account, allow them to continue to illegally charge you. The more they charge the better our lawsuit.

So there was really no trial period, got charged 4.99 I ordered pics that were never received. So I removed my card info called the number to cancel and so far I've been charged 32$ in one month today I got charged 7.99 2 times. They are still charging my account.
I paid $20 for 3 months of pic and postcard sending. They make you wait until the last order was received before you can send more. On top of that my friend says he's received them, yet on pigeonly it's not saying delivered, so I cant send more until its updated in their system. For $20 I should be able to send them whenever I want and move at my own pace. Annoying af.

First off, I needed to ask multiple questions to customer service in order to get a thorough answer on my question (was only getting a yes or no answer.) Second, not all the services provided are able to use. To my understanding depends on the facility. This should be updated perhaps while on goes thru setting up an account? I went out my way to order the voice call service which ultimately was not able to use and would have not known if I did not contact them.

So I created a review on this website a little while ago and I am doing an update. I asked for a free profile and was going to pay at a later date. Well, I am seeing transactions for $24.99 and I did not approve of that even though I signed up for their website for free they're still trying to take money out without my consent.

When you sign up for the website, it says make a free account but you have to put in your credit card information. Well, I used a card that I know that doesn’t have any money on it because of the reviews I read for it. And sure enough they tried taking money off the card that I used $24.99. I did not approve of any type of transaction with them and they still tried charging me.
