In these trying times where visitation is prohibited because of the pandemic, there is always a way to reach out inmates. Sending letters, pics and all other ways to interact so that they dont feel alone while in an entanglement with the law.
I tried to delete my card information and it wouldn't let me. I called to cancel and the phone number was disconnected. Scam
Please beware pigeonly is always charging your account when you already paid or even if you no longer do business with them. It has happened to me plenty of times then I finally closed my account with them. Just recently I was charged twice unfortunately I lost my cool because I no longer have an account with them so they had no right charging me. Their excuse was it is a new system. That is a lie because it has been happening for years.

I wish I had seen these reviews earlier. They completely rip off money from your bank. I have called them bunch of times, demanding my money back that they charged for no reason. They promise every time that I will get refund. However nothing comes from them. Instead I was charged five more times after that call. This is just ridicules. I can't believe that they do this to people who are already in pain. By the way this is the first time I am writing a review. I guess you can assume how much this hurt me that it pushed me to leave a review...

I'm very new to the website. Just started by adding name it was simple elect to add credit to send pictures. Seems easy enough but I don't like that there is no direction for how it works or what will happen. And it doesn't say how it garuntee it's a credible city. Im just exhausted looking for one to contact this prison.

Before Pigeonly I have been stressed to the max trying to talk to my boyfriend. I have been spending an insane amount a week or just a few phone calls. This makes trying to support him and comfort him as well as him do the same to me make us both just irritated. Thanks to Pigeonly I will be spending way less and won't have to worry about money. The service was easy and super helpful. I highly recommend it to anyone who has an incarcerated loved one.

I've only used but so many types of these kinds of applications. As well as using in and out of building, and have seen others use other devices with the same kind of applications. This one, was not hard at all. It was easy as pie. Got onto the page, created acct, followed the quick review, and was basically on my way, to getting into writing a letter to a friend. It's by far, a very quick and simple app.

Its a blessing to have the ability to write my wife on the go, through my phone instead of have to go buy stamps, paper, envelopes and then sit down and write. This app is awesome I can b on the way to work sending a postcard, picture or letter. I love it and they dont try getting rich off of me like other apps that do the same thing, plus they have everything so I don't have to have 3 different apps. I can send money to her account, pay for calls, send pics, letters, postcards and arrivals from online. If you have someone locked up this is the best app to have. I was locked up 13 years and I wish they would of had this back then it makes it much easier to communicate

Well I was trying to find out if my boyfriend can receive mail during his diagnosis. Pigeon ly was the first app to come up on search and promise to send letters, photos etc.,
It was simple to follow and didn't cost much at all. My mail and photos were shipped out immediately

Paid for 2 months, postcards were returned to me, I tried to call and email them to cancel no answer in over 4 weeks, I had to call the BOA and put stop payment. After looking at the postcards I sent to my dad in jail... the pics I put on them were printed on a dark blue card could not even see the pics... what a waste of money using this company would be throwing your money away. And their customer service is some of the worse

I paid $26 for the phone number 0.99 since for the 1st month for subscribing and then the charges will be $14.99 every month after that. Just got the first call I still had to pay $6 off my debit card to even connect. Called to see what's going on, or to get more info on how this works they won't answer, so I went back to cancel it's saying I have up to 3 days for them to cancel and I'm worried, because they have my card on file. Smdh! Calling my bank tomorrow!

I have tried multiple times to sign up and it says the payment system is configured wrong, I emailed multiple times and never received a response, I have called customer service multiple times and at an hour it automatically hangs up on you, the call back feature also does not work. I have sent regular mail to your facility and I sent it over 2 weeks ago and he has not received anything, it seems to me your services are completely useless and it's impossible to receive help.

2 times in 2 weeks they charged my card for services that I didn't request. I canceled my account over a year ago as I don't know anybody in prison anymore and no longer require their services. Both charges are recent. Still waiting on refund for first one and will be calling during business hours for this new one. This happened twice 2 years ago too, unauthorized charges. They can't tell me what was supposedly ordered and everytime I call, their excuse is "it's a glitch in our system". These charges to my card are fraudulent as they are unauthorized.

I like this website it helps a lot. I don't have as much anxiety sending pictures to my boyfriend on here as I do in the mail. I get notifications when they are packaged and shipped and then again when they are delivered. The only thing that I have had a problem with on this site is when I have tried to send a greeting card it stays on the page that says 1% updating images. It never fully loads it just stays on the 1% uploading images page. Other than that everything else has worked great. I did send my boyfriend a postcard and he did receive that.

Like you, all our other customers too loved using Pigeonly. Please call us whenever you can so we can get this bug fixed as soon as possible.
I chose the pay as you go option and only made one transaction of $24.99. I had no subscription. They charged me over 14 times for $39.99. Never contacted me or nothing just kept taking out $40 sometimes 3 times a day. The took out over $600 claiming I never ended the subscription I never signed up for. They label it as inmatesvc on your bank statement. I had no idea what these charges were from so I disputed it and had to get a new card. Well a month later they disputed my dispute and recharged my bank account. They are scammers do NOT enter any bank or card info. You will not get your money back! $600 for something I didnt agree to.

I'm getting charged $2.99 fee every other month. I'm also being charged twice a month for my monthly fees! I've been trying to contact them and I'm on hold for 15 minutes every time. Really thinking about discontinuing this service

Yes that is a fee that is automatically charged to Pigeonly accounts depending on your subscription type.The good news is our refund policy is simple so if you were charged incorrectly the appropriate department will correct the issue and refund the charges right away. Have you received any refund as of yet?
The process to receive a refund can be as quick as 3 days but can take as long as 14 days, depending on your bank.
I will be more than happy to locate and refund any charges that were done incorrectly if it has not already been done. Our wait times have been high in the past due to the demand of our services but we have expanded our team since then and wait times are currently very low. I've use this company only sending pictures but I haven't in over a year but it was pay and send never once did I have to commit to a monthly plan so had no problems, now it states a $4.99-7.99 plan monthly but I find out I was billed in advance $59 Iam livid, I call to possibly have the issue dealt with the customer rep. Was so shallow Telling me that all sales are final after pretending to help me. The customer is what makes your business you are suppose to at least attempt to help me resolve the issue. This co. Needs work. A class on customer service and professionalism. After this displeasing situation I'm done with pigeonly

3 months after my complaint I finally got a message from a customer relations associate offering to help with a refund. I give them credit for trying, but 3 months is too long and getting refunds has never been an issue with Pigoenly, the issue is they would refund my card and 2 weeks later start charging me again. I finally had to dispute each charge individually and then cancel the card cause CapOne considered it fraud.

I sent my fiance photos one time in December of 2017 using this service. Beginning in March of 2018 Pigeonly started randomly charging my credit card for services I never used and aren't even available in the state of Texas. I called and got refunded in June. Then July I got charged 4 different times again and 3 more times in August. Called again and told them to remove me from their system and got another refund. September... 4 more charges. 3 more charges in October and 2 so far this month in November. This company is running credit balance scheme and using deceptive business practices.

Do not do business with them. Use the other more honest services out there.

At first I thought this was the greatest thing! I could send pics, a letter, an article, a postcard, etc. But then I noticed this charge from them that I never authorized, and not just from one account, they were taking it from any card I ever used, even if I had deleted it. 7.99 every 10 days. So I call customer serivce number, I waited for over an hour on hold with no one ever picking up the call. So I went to the online chat. This person only had the capability of filing a report with billing. There was no way to get confirmation, no number to talk to them. They sneak money out of your account, then make it so you can't even talk to someone who actually works for this company.

I've tried a few different sites for keeping in touch with my fiance in jail and Pigenly is the best I've tried.The different ways of communicating are amazing affordable and fast delivery for pictures and letters. I have not had a chance to check out all the different products but am looking forward to trying them all. Boyfriend and son both in jail so put both their info on pigeonly. First month was fine and so convenient. Son writes back says don't send them (letters) this way said real pain to get and takes too long. So I follow steps to cancel and the next month I'm still charged I was charged for 3 months after I cancelled only way to stop it was I had to get new CC cancel the one I had been using. I will not do this again.
