In these trying times where visitation is prohibited because of the pandemic, there is always a way to reach out inmates. Sending letters, pics and all other ways to interact so that they dont feel alone while in an entanglement with the law.
I tried to delete my card information and it wouldn't let me. I called to cancel and the phone number was disconnected. Scam
I love these guys. Helps me stay in touch with my husband. I can write him as much as i want and send all the picture i want for a great price! I just wish it was like email n not standard mail. Its ok though for the great price and it unlimited letters n photos.

This company is the worst my stepson is incarcerated he hasn't even been able to use their services and they have charged my checking account four times now for $34.99 each time and every time that I've tried to contact them I can't get a hold of anyone I'm put on hold forever and then the next time I call back they are closed for the holidays and every day that I look on my checking account almost there is another $34.99 charge at this company is stealing please everyone do not ever ever use this company

At first I was aggravated with the site. After typing almost a 6 page letter I was forced to re log into my account. However the letter didn't save. And I had to recompose my letter. After that everything went smoothly. I really enjoy this site. Its convenient and simple! Also has a great price for the convenience!

They have been hitting my account every three days for the price of 39.99 and not the advertised 19.99 a month. Then you call and it's 3 to 14 days days for refund. They have taken approximately $324.00. Don't sign up.

Tomorrow I will be calling consumer rights on these people about my money and their service that doesn't work. Also I will be calling the Attorney General.

The website promoted unlimited calling for 99c the first month, which sounds amazing right? Well you still have to pay for the minutes(which are substantially cheaper, but still not just 99c) And you'll have to pay a $25 startup fee to activate the phone number they give you for your inmate to call so you can receive the discounted price. Regardless, you can save up to $70 a month with the discounted price of minutes so that was a good enough reason for me to continue with this program. It's about 80% cheaper than standard rates from the jail my inmate is in, which is huge.

I am very disappointed with this company. I stopped my service with them April/March 2021, on January 3rd of 2022 I saw some deductions from them 39.99 each, I looked at my bank statement and saw a total of 19 deductions from December up to that January. I called them and was able to get back 16 of those 19 back, I keep calling for my 3 they still haven't paid me for. I usually do not put my reviews but this was so wrong of them! The picture below is proof of some of the deductions on January 3rd.

Takes over 6 weeks for anything to be sent and then another 2-3 for it to be received! Ridiculous, and all they can respond is Covid-19. I'm a nurse... yes Covid-19 caused issues with everything but to still use that as an excuse is not acceptable.

I asked the company to remove my card on file in July of 2019. Feb 3,2020, I get a pending transaction on my credit card for 19.99. Mind you, I have a block for this merchant on my credit card. Today I found out my credit card company can only block a merchant for a specific amount. So, this explains why the 19.99 went through. So now they are blocking that amount. I've asked numerous times for pigeon.ly to give me proof that they deleted my card from their system and they have not done it. I will be calling them again tomorrow.

I'm really really really bummed to write this review. I want to support people who need second chances in life and was happy when I read it was run by former inmates. My friend got in some trouble and I was happy I was able to have a way to stay in contact. $7.98 a month and I was able to send my friend letters. Except I noticed, I got a charge for $7.99 one week so I look back at my statement and notice there are several more from earlier I hadn't seen. I contact their very nice customer service who promptly removes it. A couple of weeks later, the same thing! Customer service is always nice about it. But then after the next unlawful charge, I decided I can't continue with this company, so I decided to cancel. Three weeks later, another charge! So now I've officially blocked the card from being able to connect with my bank.

I have continually been charged by this company even though my account was cancelled. I called customer service and they said it was due to system updates. I was charged $26.06 on Oct. 28,29 Nov. 1,2 I called and they said it was cancelled and my card was removed. Well I checked again today and my account was charged $26.06 on Nov. 8 and today it was charged $26.06 FOUR times! Do not trust this company!

During this extremely stressful time, it was helpful to have a site that was easy to set up and easy to use. I didn't need more drama or more frustration in my life. The site is intuitive and user friendly.

Scam dont dont do it. 7 day free trial is a scam. They say they won't charge your debit card till after the 7 day free trial.? Wrong. As soon as you get in the credit card they bill you and they will not give it back to you do not repeat do not trust this website

There is not enough explanation. Not worth the effort. Letters are delivered late. They are "processing" for almost a week. Even after you get a confirmation that the letter is sent the program still won't let you send the next letter. Says the other letter has to process. So you can only write 4 letters a month.

I sincerely apologize for the confusion the reason you are only able to send only one of each product at a time is that we don't want the facility to throw out any of your important mail in case they have a restriction as to how many mail orders of the same product can be received in one day.
Your ad listed a price for unlimited calls. Not true! I signed up cuz I NEED to save money. You didn't say I had to pay additional $26 for a number, then more money to add minutes, that is supposed to be unlimited. It's already a hard situation, I'm struggling to pay bills, I don't need to be tricked out of money, just to talk to my loved one! Keep your $20 for the survey! I wouldn't do more business with you.

These people have took forever to send a letter, after a month and when you call them to cancel and close the account the keep charging you bank account, and now a year after they still charge you for an account that has been closed. Very poor customer service and will promise to refund you but never do. They give you a run around and a hard time to resolve the issue.

You have to be familiar with the prison or jail your LO's at. When my friend was in county, I could hardly send anything thru Pigeonly because of county jail's rules (pics needed inmate # on back & even greeting cards could be no bigger than 4x6). Since those 2 options weren't available, subscribing wasn't worth it for him but after transferring to prison, I looked into it again. With a discount code & holiday pricing, I got a great deal! You can basically send a letter, card, web article & photos every 4+ days. You have to wait for that particular item to be delivered before you can send the same again. Depending how many photos the prison allows each envelope & how often you end up sending these items, it's TOTALLY worth the subscription price. Especially if you get a 3 month deal AND a coupon code!
