Pretty cool. I don't like that I have to wait for something to fully process before I can send another message. Also I wish you could use a phone calling service for Shelby county through pigeonly.com. But overall it's a neat way to stay in touch with incarcerated loved ones.
I tried to delete my card information and it wouldn't let me. I called to cancel and the phone number was disconnected. Scam
I'm glad I found Pigeonly. Pigeonly services are great to use to send a letter to your loved someones. I personally live in Canada and you have no clue when the letter is delivered until your loved someones tell you so. With Pigeonly, you can send 4 pages of text, it takes around 4 days to deliver and you get notified when it's delivered.
My son was reaonly move to a place that only uses this company to send him money. I have only been signed up for less than a month and they have taken over 60. Dollars out of my account. I had called emailed and nothing has been done. I cancelled my account and they are still taking money out. They take 7.99 out 2 and 3 times a week and I have no idea what that is for. 12.99 has been taken out twice. Another 20.00 was taken and I have no idea why. I was told I would get my refund but no that hasn't happened. I will not go away I will keep on till something happens. DO NOT US THIS SIGHT

Here's an update. I sent out two orders on the 23rd of August. A 1 pg letter & 12 pics. Today is September 2nd & even though 1 order says it was delivered on the 27th, my bf still hasn't received anything. The pics were just shipped on the 30th. I have been sending letter After letter to get my moneys worth. Eventually he will get those orders. I created an account thinking this would save time and money, but it's Bull$#*!. You're better off doing things old school! Buy your stamps and send your letter in the mail. USPS hasn't let me down.

Buy Stamps and get your pics at any kiosk. Send as many letters & pics as you want. I paid $20 for the 3 month plan of unlimited pics and letters. Now i read on the website it takes 3-5 days for orders to be shipped. After i spoke to customer service they are saying 5-7 days. I thought I'd be able to send as many letters and pics as i wanted. Now they are saying i have to wait for the orders to be delivered. Smh. Wish they would have been honest. I should have read the reviews before i signed up. I should have just bought a book of stamps & gotten my pics at freeprints.com
I thought this service would be faster than snailmail, but it's the opposite. It took almost a month to process a picture and get it shipped, my husband never received an important letter regarding his Board hearing that i wrote for him, good thing i saved a hand written copy. Picture still hasn't been delivered. The postcards are ok except the advertising of the company takes up most of the space where you place the picture you chose on the back. They need some consumer feedback to make it better. I cancelled my subscription because it wasn't what I thought it would be. Too many bad reviews especially when it comes to the scamming and taking money.
To start, i have to say wow. Good and bad things; how convent this program is to keep in touch with inmates it has somewhat easy navigating and everything you'd find yourself to need is all in one spot so theyis no confusing frustration. Bad things are the lack of"tips" or "help" when doing certain tasks or finding information on certain things. As a new user I find it hard to confidently carry out tasks with adding money to inmate. The steps don't elaborate on the wording and terms used making it kind of hard to know what information is needed. There is not much self help unless calling and being confronted by further questions not easily understood. Overall in find that this great for how easy it makes keeping intouch witthout a headache or hassle.

This service is very unreliable. It took several months of returned letters before Pigeonly finally provided the CORRECT zip code. Subsequent to that, there have been a series of problems. Inmates receive mail meant for other inmates and have no way of passing it along. Letters take 2 weeks to 2 months to be delivered. A birthday card mailed a month early was recently delivered a month late. Pictures and images are dark and frequently undeciferable Mail is delivered in bulk - sometimes as many as 10 letters at once with postmarks over a 2 week period.
There is nothing positive I can say about this service except that it has possibly stopped contraband from reaching prisoners. However, innocent people are being jeopardized because of misdoings of a few.

I signed up for the electronic greeting cards so I could send my son a birthday card. Paid for it, "sent" it to my son. Waited over a month and checked. They NEVER sent the card to my son! Called... explained to them what happened and CANCELED the subscription. They refund my money fairly quickly and I thought I was done with them. I check my bank account today. Find out they have charged me the monthly fee for the past 3 months - AFTER I cancelled the subscription. I called customer service. Talked to someone named Phillip. He said it would take up to 3 business days to get my money back. Argued with him for about 10 minutes, all while I was disputing the charges with my bank. My bank has already refunded the money to me. So now, I'm going to let the bank get their money from these thieves!

As I was trying to figure out how I could help my brother, this was the one thing that made me feel like there was something I could take care of for him. Not a customer but I have read a number of the complaints on Facebook and Twitter and it sounds like they are exploiting people in a bad situation. They double and triple charge customers without a refund and then they are not paying vendors for services rendered. We have been waiting for over a year on $3,500 for services rendered. Did some work at their office on 2252 E Pama Lane in Las Vegas and after not getting paid for over 6 months, decided to hand deliver the invoices just to find out that the building was closed by the Las Vegas Justic Court!
It wouldn't allow for negative feedback, but the service gets really costly and calls drop frequently. You're still charged for minutes that get dropped. I like that the services are offered but it needs to be cheaper for people that use it frequently.
Tip for consumers:
It's not anything we can fix, but expect dropped calls and expect to spend lots of money cuz it gets expensive.

This place IS A RIP OFF! They charged my acct 12 times in Novemeber 7.99,14.99 and 19.99 SEVERAL TIMES. I called just today because there's NEW charges several for 7.99 and 14.99. I called and was told a refund is coming. I've never had an issue until now. This made me look up reviews for this company and WOW! Everyon is having the same problem. This is horrible cus the person who invented the app was someone who use to be in prison. I supported this app for that reason alone n now I feel like that was a dumb move on my end. This company is constantly using our funds and information inappropriately. It's not fair and very upsetting. Don't use this app save yourself money and frustration

The website is nicely designed and effective the feedback recieved by email isgreat. What I didnt like is how it's an extra $25 to a different company to get phone calls and I'm not sure what they can do that I cant. I can send letters and photos myself

Ok I to had some changes to my bank account. But wasn't sure if the mistake was my fault or not. Really wasn't sure what I was doing. But once I seen I was getting charged I called them and told them what was going on. And they refunded my money with no problems. My only complaint is when I sent a letter to my inmate it took a very long time to get to him. And the site would block you from sending another one. But over all he said the picture was good. Just takes a long time to get to them.

Well first I've put my order in 3 mths ago. My husband still has not received photes they message me saying they were sorry and offered a free month. Then a week later tried to take the money out of my account. I called to check on status of order said they were processing my order at that moment. Month later still no photos. He comes home next month I wasn't able to use the phone number options. And they are still trying to take money out of my account. And still no pictures. So I suggest using the old fashion way. This company is a joke. Said that the fee was 7.99 a month. Charged anywhere from 7.99 to 19.99 multiple times a month. Tried several times to cancel service. They wouldn't cancel it. Had to cancel bank account to finally stop the payments. Charged over 500.00. Beware of this Scam!
Your service is okay I only joined for the postcards and when I didn't pay the $12.98 to continue because I didn't want to continue then you constantly call my house and continuously try to take it off in my credit card I do not like that if I want your service I will continue to pay for your service don't try to take it from somebody
