Pretty cool. I don't like that I have to wait for something to fully process before I can send another message. Also I wish you could use a phone calling service for Shelby county through pigeonly.com. But overall it's a neat way to stay in touch with incarcerated loved ones.
I tried to delete my card information and it wouldn't let me. I called to cancel and the phone number was disconnected. Scam
I read "Cathy"'s review and had a very similar experience. I cancelled months ago, changed my card, and called the service about the unauthorized service to no avail. I had initially got the service to send articles and pictures to an inmate but the website gave me wrong information and the articles and pictures that we sent were not allowed to be sent from the company. This service is such a scam it isn't even funny. They will charge you months after you cancel for a service that sucked in the first place. -100 out of 10
I've had $55 plus out my account in ONE MONTH. I am from the UK as him can see, so the number was a god send for my friend to contact me. I'm a single mum & can't afford the charges at all. Cancel

It took over 2 months before inmate got the free post card. I sent a letter a month ago, he still hasn't received it. Trying to call is impossible...they never answer calls, and NEVER call back if you put self on the call back list..

My gf was recently arrested and was housed in Macomb County Jail pending me finding funds to bail her out. I knew it was going to take a little while for this to happen and did not want to spend so much money on care packs which would cut into my bond fund. I never saw this Pigeonly option before and looked at what other options are there to show incarcerated loved ones are not forgotten. Even a little note that just says high can lift their spirits and give them the energy to go another day esp if they are in full blown detox. You all know the prison guards and system does not give a $#*!! Anyways I like this new option to communicate with loved ones to remind them they are missed dearly and not forgotten. After seeing the gentleman on VICE and hearing his story, I decided to sign up to see if it works better than the system I currently use. I sent my first picture today then had a chat conversation to determine the time it would take for my picture to arrive. I was told it would go out today and would take 3-5 business days to arrive. I only live 12 minutes from the facility but it usually take about 7-10 days with the facility checking and distributing mail. I'm curious to see if it's quicker than my usual method. I had bought a printer to print pictures, etc. prior to signing up.

Right now, it's a hassle to go to the post office where I live. Hubby and I are having problems so phone calls aren't plentiful. Being able to just write how I feel and press submit relieved a lot of pressure while we're trying to work things out. If I knew about this 4 years ago, could have saved me some money.
Since May this company Pigeonly has gotten me for 79.99. Not counting the 1 dollar they got my card number for. Saying my Inmate could call for a monthly fee. I have never received any service from them. But the still continue to randomly charge me. 4x in one month. Will not give any refund when called?

I made an account and signed up for a free trial. Read these reviews about bogus charges and canceled it immediately, but just in case I put a card with no money on it and deleted my bank card. They won't let you delete your card until your "subscription ends" which is 7 days later. Lo and behold 24 hours later I get a notification that my card declined two 39.99 charges. This site is the first and only place I have ever given this card info. I have contacted the authorities and am determined to erase myself from their site. I had to deactivate my card. I've enclosed photos. Oh yea, the charge came from "pgn.co". Imagine that.

It's awful. Nobody explained nothing to us. Told us unlimited talk didnt happen. 35$ later and only talked 2 times plus the letters they mail takes 2 weeks to get there. Also promised that 10$on us had 3 friends join as well got nothing but more fees.

My mail was sent back to me for several months. When I called to ask why, I was told as long as I have his prison number it should get there. Not so. The correction industry wants you to address the envelope they way they want it addressed. I followed their protocol but still it was returned. I then asked pigeonly why I should use their service if my mail continues to be returned? I'm still waiting for a response.

I've had nothing but trouble, problems and hassles. GTL connect Network, the other ones I am broke because of it and can barely afford to put money on my husband's books do to the other companies high fees. I wish my jail facility will allow pigeon to load commissary but at least now a lot of the other services are cheaper for me and I can send him pictures, greeting cards among other things. I've only had to use the customer service one time and even that was beyond amazing. Extremely happy with them.
I was hesitant about using this, since I'm so old fashioned and use to mailing everything. I'm really not too computer savvy, but since I‘ve mailed my pictures off twice and they haven't been received, I figured why not give it a try. It only took me about 3 minutes to set up my account and send my photos right on to my hubby! I love it and I didn't even have to leave the house. They even called me to verify it was me, which made me feel more secure and ready to try. I set up a recurring payment acct. Since I will definitely be doing things this way! I love it!
Pigeonly is terrible. Twice with 3weeks $19.99 has been taken out of my account. I only have phone service through them and it's nowhere near $19.99 a mth! The first refund was a breeze to get my money returned. This second round, I'm still fighting for my $ to be returned. It's been over a month. Supervisor Katy is a joke and a liar. The phone #'s barely work on the weekends. It always technical issues for a service that's being paid for that you can't use! I'm furious! As soon as I get my $ back and find another company for inmate calls, I'm done with them! I'm contacting the BETTER BUSINESS BUSINESS BUREAU as well. They need to be aware of this so called company!

Unethical —They promised phone calls, video calls, and computer connections. They promised delivering photographs and postcards. They did none of those the kiosks are non-usable, and I was charged for three months without them providing the services. I need to speak with them five times in order to get one of the months reversed. Don't waste your money

This company is a complete joke! I sent mail over a MONTH ago and it's still yet to be processed. I keep getting the run around and excuses of "were backlogged." You can't call because they phones lines "are down for maintenance" and your customer service is less than helpful. The holidays are practically here and you are affecting the mental health of us families and our loved ones!

Please beware pigeonly is always charging your account when you already paid or even if you no longer do business with them. It has happened to me plenty of times then I finally closed my account with them. Just recently I was charged twice unfortunately I lost my cool because I no longer have an account with them so they had no right charging me. Their excuse was it is a new system. That is a lie because it has been happening for years.
