I have tried to purchase from Poshmark 3x. My first purchase they did not take back (but amex credited me for). I received a misleadingly small pizza wallet thing. I vowed to never shop on Poshmark again. How could they not take it back? It was clearly misleading. They gave me $5 useless poshmark credit instead. Nonetheless, a day came when i needed white jeans for a job. I never wanted white jeans and I didn't want to spend money on them, so I thought, hey let me get a cheap $5 pair on poshmark with that useless credit I was never going to use. I bought a pair which would have been free with the credit and 6 something shipping. That person never shipped it. I tried one more time. In a rush I bought some white jeans that were called VS Pencil jeans. Now to the buyers credit the jeans were actually brand-named VS pencil. I did not realize that and thought I was getting skinny jeans. Nope they were straight leg and baggy misleading again just like the pizza wallet. Then i was put into some comment purgatory with the seller who of course felt she was right in calling them by their name, which to an extent she was, but which person would read VS pencil and think they would get straight leg. Then also my fault I read over it but the pants were stained. Who would even think of selling stained clothing period? To her defense she mentioned it but I'm sure people are just rushing to buy stained white jeans on the internet for $5. Even the Salvation Army won't sell or donate stained clothing. Once again Amex came to the rescue on my stained white straight leg baggy jeans. I did get my $5 Posh credit back again but I vow to never use it. Poshmark is a haven of misleading items that may or may not be stained that are always final sale. Eww.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SELLER SHE IS A FAKE! Her name *******@laurenhicks96 To be honest I am very upset with this seller. I am SO upset because I ordered two things from this seller but as a bundle on April 22,2016. I received the first item on April 26,2016 which I was pretty happy about although the dress looked very worn out. The reason why she only sent one dress right away was because she said that she couldn't send the other dress right away because she couldn't find the other dress because she wasn't home because she was in college and her mother was looking for the dress for her. Which led her to asking if she could send the other dress later on. Which i was like okay, because i can understand that. && then 3 weeks gone by and she still didn't send it. I messaged her a couple times after saying that i didn't get the dress that she said that she will send but then she ignored me. And then I messaged her mother on facebook on may 24,2016 and then she finally replied back to me in the rudest way talking about how her grandfather died and that she would send it to me the next day which was on May 25. So i was like okay. Ill be patient and wait another week. And today which is june 4. I still didn't receive anything in the mail. I honestly feel so scammed by her, so if you're a buyer be careful because she scammed me.
Their customer service is HORRIBLE and they make returns impossible. DO NOT ORDER from here. I had to file a charge dispute against them - I REPEAT DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.
Beware if you receive a shoddy item it is unlikely they will allow you to return it or refund the item for you.
I've bought several items from Poshmark & am thrilled with the experience!
Quick Shipping & Great Deals!
Will buy from Poshmark over & over again!
Very bad. Very bad, worst customer service. Sellers sell faulty items there and poshmark does nothing for you. THEY ARE THE WORST, EBAY IS FOR BUYERS BUT POSHMARK IS FOR SELLERS!
You order stuff and when you have a problem you contact customer service. Customer service takes a week to not read your email or not comprehend it
There to proud of there site and a 20% sellers fee screws the whole site. Who ever is the head boss of this site is a greedy s of a beach.
Advertised free shipping, charged me $7.11, said would credit me on next order, charged $7.11 again. Complete runaround
I've been buying and selling on Posh for a few years and it has been a great experience. Great selection and good prices.
DO NOT SELL nor BUY! The customer service is non -existent. For high end authentic goods please go to another site... this place is a FRAUD!
This is a great place to both buy and sell if you as the buyer and the seller take a proactive approach...
For buyers. Review all photos well. If you have a question ask it. Don't be afraid to ask gor more photos... or to ask questions about an item you wish to purchase...
Take a look at the persons stats that you are purchasing from. How fast they ship. If they cancel orders often. Or if they have a low star rating... Make an informed decision about who you buy from... This will save you a lot of stress...
If you sell... read all of the rules. And know that posh charges buyers over $6 for 2 day shipping. Be aware of that and respectful of shipping in a short amount of time. Or risk a low star rating... that $6+ is what the post office charges for fast shipping. Posh is not making money on that end. So respect your buyers and ship in a timely manner.
Also know that as one who sells on Poshmark. You agree to either a $3 + Posh commission on items under $15 or 20% for items over...
Buyers... try not to low ball... if you offer $5 for an item. Know that that person will only be paid less than $2 of that...
There is no reason to remark on an item you feel is to expensive... In fact. A fellow Posher can file a complaint against you for harassment... On the other end. Do not respond to someone who does this. Block them... be professional to be successful...
Poshmark is an amazing place to both buy and sell as long as you are proactive as a posher... I learned this the hardway... I hope that this will assist others in an easier route...
As far as luxury goods go. You can ask that the seller send them to be Authenticated when purchased. The seller pays for this... and you are not charged until the item is proven to be authentic...
Most of the bad reviews you read about can be avoided if you take on the responsibility of being a proactive posher... Happy Poshing! I hope this helps...
Paid for expedited shipping (1-3 days) Garment not sent out until day 7. Poshmark said that is acceptable... Really?
Online junk store - Beware
My wife recently paid 200.00 for a handbag that never shipped. Trying yo contact support is fruitless
They'll ban you for the absolute silliest reasons. They also take a large amount of profit from your sales. Stay away, go on Mercari instead.
Theresa a scammer with over 130 accounts on Poshmark and they don't do anything
She's allowed to keep them all
They have more fake sellers than the law should allow. Its trash and very unprofessional *******@golouie
I've only had 2 bad experiences and customer service was very helpful. All of the other transactions went great
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
