My daughter loves the site, so I bought her a $200 gift card for Christmas. Little did I know that half of the items on the site are from third-party sellers and now my daughter can't buy what she wants because the gift card can't be used on those purchases. If you buy a Shein gift card, you should be able to use it on anything on the site. I should have given her a Visa instead. It feels like kind of a scam. Shein reached out and rectified my issue and they were super quick, too! I'm changing my review to 5 stars. Super impressed!
Guys stay away from SHEIN company. Big Fraud. I bought few items and size was not ok so when I returned within time frame they lied and did not refund my money, also took items. Customer service is pathetic. I wish they close the business in canada atleast.

Words cannot describe the low level of quality at Shein, and if you want to spend your hard-earned money just to be disappointed, you will have found your nirvana for that! Read all the reviews from all over the world (BUT NOT ON THEIR SITE, THEY REFUSE TO PUBLISH HONEST, PROOF OF PURCHASE REVIEWS WITH PHOTOGRAPHS) and laugh at us fools whose money they've taken and make it impossible to return due to broken AI system.
They should only be allowed to operate in the same country and region as where the goods are manufactured because we expect far superior quality than their NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE items! My wigs are going in the bin, they are NOTHING like the photos and the quality isn't even fit for a single costume party, let alone daily wear for those with medical issues.
Self-respecting Governments should protect their citizens by stepping up and banning Shein, not least because they provide ZERO PERSON TO PERSON CUSTOMER SERVICE, just a malfunctioning bot that keeps shutting down or saying, "I'll try harder". NOTE: SHEIN REFUSE TO PUBLISH ANY NEGATIVE REVIEWS ON THEIR SITE, ESPECIALLY WITH PHOTOS PROVING QUALITY ISSUES.

Send a message to customer service about my item missing pictures proof and they did not want to do anything about it which I have years buying during the years few packages always something missing and I let it go. I don't do anything about it until this time I really needed the item and I decided to ask for it refund. Nope they did not want to do nothing about it and treated me like I stole, I'm not buying here no more

Ordered a dress through this company which was $30 including the shipping my husband paid for it on his debit card we get a notification through their fraud department that they need a little extra information for us before they ship the dress. We sent him a picture of the bank statement showing proof we paid for the dress they denied the picture saying it was not a complete clear picture. We took another picture up close of the bank statement letting them know we were not going to give out our account number or anything else but the picture of the bank statement through his bank which we did online. I can see if the outfit was over $500 that they would have their fraud department looking into it but a $30 order really?! Ridiculous crap! Get it together Shein!

I've poured thousands into Shein, only to be met with endless refund hassles. They often ONLY RETURN PART of your money for returns, making you jump through hoops to contact customer service for the full amount—a task that's nearly impossible.
And after weeks of waiting and sending 5 to 8 emails, they sometimes claim they never received the returns!
It's a frustrating cycle of DECEIT. As someone of Chinese heritage, it pains me to see such practices, seemingly reflective of a "Chinese way of doing business". Truly, the worst shopping experience ever.

Dont trust them! The return service is a horror! Firstly it takes more than a week or two to hear anything from them after sending the returned goods, then the refunds are ALWAYS incomplete! This means they only refund parts of your returns, and for the rest, you'll have to try to write endless emails to chase them down to refund. With my last two returns, still some items are missing. In one case, the process went on more than 3 months so the case was expired, and I didn't get the full refund! The second: they claim they didn't receive returns from an entire order, which I sent back together with some other orders, what a mess! The total value of these missing refunds sums over EUR 100, but I've spent more than 3000 on Shein in the last 2 month, what a waist of money! Never trust it again!
I ordered on Shein last year November, my parcel got lost, and this was after I paid Buffalo courier service the import tax. Shein was very professional in the matter and they immediately refunded me, without any trouble. Buffalo courier services is refusing to refund me after I have spend hours on the phone escalating the matter. I have send through various proof of payment and still they are refusing to pay back (about R600).
Please Shein, this company is stealing from your clients. Please use a professional company that is competent.

They have different giveaways going on and each one is stops at a certain point automatically then tells you "invite friends with your link to get.50 cents off off a dollar to reach your goal. I do but then exit the app because it doesn't update it unless i restart the app. I get back on and it goes "here's.30 cents, keep inviting, you're almost there." but then it just continues to lower what I'm getting so I can't even get the stuff they promise. The whole app is honestly a scam to just invite people on to get more sales. Don't waste your time with that trash website/application.

2. You have to choose from multiple batches when processing a return.
3. There is no way you can catch hold of a live agent except after your first purchase.
4. Their shipment gets delayed for no reason.
5. Raising a ticket often means being tossed between departments with no actual results.

I received a delivery notification both by email and on my the app stating that all 15 orders that i purchased were delivered. All orders were not delivered and because i have had recent issues with theft. I tried to reach out to SHEIN to see if they could either replaced them or refund me for them. They don't provide a contact number, all that they have is a so call chat. Further their optional questions are very limited prevented me from making an accurate selection so that i can place the correct complaint in the chat.
In addition, Shein tried to charged for some kind of a "customer support" with one of their specialized agents which attempted to charge me $55/month to register for furthering customer support services likely my bank rejected this charge attempt.
Shein is horrible and lacks total professionalism. They are absolutely apart of the issue along side the thief that stole my packages.

Each time I place an order from SHEIN they would send me used, stained and torn clothes clearly that has been worn before as the clothes would smell of body odour! I have never experienced this kind of treatment from any company in my life of online shopping. This company needs to be shut down asap. This is the most unprofessional non thorough company I have ever had to use! I placed my order dec 15 and I paid for express shipping. On Dec 30 I haven't received 1 item. I haven't been given any tracking updates just emails about more delays. They used DHL for delivery and their website malfunctions and not useful. Purchased almost all my 10 y/o Christmas gifts from Shein. Safe to say her Christmas is ruined.

This will be my first time having an issue with shein but today i purchased some boots they charged my card and a few hours later cancelled my order but never refunded the money. I have ordered some cone loader grinders my first 2 orders were fine. My next 2 orders which I did within a couple of days of each other were not there was only half of the grinders to oversee the order pick I did not know that there are 2 per order. They gave me a refund for the first order and tell me the keep the grinders. They told me they'd merged my 2 tickets together but they obviously hadn't because when I saw the refund I realized what has happened they really done it for the first order. I have never sent so many emails back and forth they got me send in the SKU number to them so so so many times it seems like the customer service is totally useless. He then put me on to a supervisor or I thought might be able to help me but after 6 weeks she'd asked me to send them back that she did not think that I might have sold them avoid like the plague

I order from shein a lot and I just noticed that their default shipping setting is express shipping, meaning you would pay $12.90 shipping each time if you didn't notice it to change it. Absolutely ridiculous and unethical business practice, please fix this. The default shipping setting should be the cheapest/free option, like every other business in existence.
