My daughter loves the site, so I bought her a $200 gift card for Christmas. Little did I know that half of the items on the site are from third-party sellers and now my daughter can't buy what she wants because the gift card can't be used on those purchases. If you buy a Shein gift card, you should be able to use it on anything on the site. I should have given her a Visa instead. It feels like kind of a scam. Shein reached out and rectified my issue and they were super quick, too! I'm changing my review to 5 stars. Super impressed!
Guys stay away from SHEIN company. Big Fraud. I bought few items and size was not ok so when I returned within time frame they lied and did not refund my money, also took items. Customer service is pathetic. I wish they close the business in canada atleast.

Stick With Amazon! This place is a joke. It's literally hit or miss. Maybe you'll receive something decent or maybe it'll feel cheap & itchy. This company is a ripoff they they take $8.00 per item you return the crazy part the items are brand new and they still take your money and most cases if you have 3 items to return you bought it but bc they took money off the 2 you get no refund they get return 3 back you pay a fee for them to return it and keep the 3rd one and you get nothing

I ordered on 12/6/23. Delivery date was supposed to be 12/15/23-12/19/23. It is 12/22/23 and still no package. These were Christmas presents. There is absolutely zero info on tracking. I contacted them on my order with tracking number 1Z*******YW******* and they apologized and I'm supposed to receive points for my inconvenience. RIDICULOUS! I don't want your stupid points I want the stuff I paid for within the time period promised! 3 of my children will not be receiving their gifts because of this company. Shein is the worst! I haven't received my order and it's been two weeks already without being asked to pay for customs while their policy says it 9-12 days instead. I have been trying to call but nobody bothers to answer and some of the numbers provided don't work anymore, automatically that leaves me no choice but to email them and they take hours to reply to your emails. I had requested an urgent delivery but instead they told me that my package was delayed by 5-7 days and instead of being informed about this earlier they only updated me a few days before I had to move out from where I currently reside. Till this day nobody is willing to help.

On September 11th, 2023, I have ordered 14 items on Shein website and was debited cad 361,39. The next day, I was receiving an email from Shein saying that my order was placed on hold by their risk prevention system and that they needed me to provide them with a screenshot of the bank transaction. I sent them the requested screenshot but hours later, they told me that the verification failed and that I should send again. Despite the fact that I asked them by email what was the issue, I didn't get any answer. I've tried to call the customer service but nothing. The status of my order has not changed since and is still in "processing" stage. I just want my money back now. Looks like we are talking to robots!

Absolute scum with pathetic and criminal 'business practices'. Ordered a soldering iron the other day and was promised delivery in 5-8 businesses days. I accepted and purchased only for them to IMMEDIATELY send an email indicating that shipping was delayed. I then go to cancel the order, being that should be simple and straightforward considering that is is nowhere near being shipped, and I am unable to since they slapped a tracking number on it. Criminals, and the representative at USAA informed me that there is an open and very public boycott against this company for this exact reason. I've already gotten my funds back. Hope attempting to steal from me was worth yet another 1* review and further social media lashing

Their delivery company DHL have already canceled my delivery but no one from SHEIN have acknowledge my concern. I am calling my Credit Card company and reverse these charges. Customer service was awful. Would not allow returns within their stated policy. I would avoid purchasing items from this company. Because they sell clothing, you need to be able to return items that do not fit as expected.
I followed the instructions that Shein provided in the response, but there is no way to reach a real person. It's just an automated system. It appears that this is a scripted response that Shein uses to make it look like they are responsive to customer concerns. Please be aware that they are not responsive and do not be fooled.
Shein - if you really want to resolve the issue, I would be happy to speak or chat with a representative, but so far you have not provided that option to resolve the issue.

I recently ordered a casual two outfit from these people which finally arrived. Just picking up the package I could immediately tell that it was poor quality. Upon opening the package it was as I suspucted, very poor quality, being so thin that you can see straight through it. This is definitely something that I'd never wear, and will throw in the trash. Avoid this company and their products by all means because it's a rip off. If I could've given a half star, I would've.

Shein are a bunch of SCAMMERS. No delivery just lie upon lie that it is shipping. Finally in writing stated they would send a refund. Of course No REFUND after they scammed me out of $300 USD. Email sent promising a refund along with messages sent through messenger months ago and of course nothing from them. They simply rip people off and do not care. There are HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS who have been scammed by this company as shown through all of the complaints online. They have NUMEROUS LAWSUITS against them for ripping off other people's designs on top of this. THIS Should be all over the MEDIA, they should be sued and put in jail.

If I could give less than 1 star as that would accurately reflect this company. I purchased items and all items in my cart were included that purchase. Today I see that the amount I paid for doesn't reflect one missing item.
It was difficult to reach a live agent as the bot kept wasting my time by trying to force templates that weren't applicable. Secondly, their phone number is a NON working number.
When I finally reached a live agent, I tried explaining what the issue was and her responses were NOT applicable nor was she listening properly. I asked for a supervisor and none was able to speak with me rather they kept sending their templates response. This will be my LAST time using such an unprofessional company who don't care about customer service.

Please do better with customer service and live agents and also get a working phone number for the US entity of your business. Your customer service is deplorable for the reasons enumerated in my review section. I WILL NEVER use your company again! DO BETTER!

Ordered July 22,2022 and paid $12.99 express shipping. Got tracking saying it shipped 7/27/2022. Still haven't received items. Contacted the company several times. Only got back to wait wait wait. It's been in Memphis TN since 7/27. Finally they allowed me to put in a refund request. Total was $71. They are giving me back $45. I did receive one item. Impossible customer service. I will not order from Shein again. Both shirts are flimsy, poor quality fabric. With one shirt I wondered if it was a plastic-type material; felt bad on. Both were undersize for the size they implied.

I placed an order that was never received. Shein acknowledge this but claim their shipping company won't refund their costs. After dozens of emails all they've offered is a partial refund (60%) or I could pay another $15 & have the order resent!

So, I was hoping these items were as cute as look online. And lots of folks call it "hit and miss". For me, it's a distinct MISS. I have ordered twenty or so items over the last 8 months or so. I gathered it all together in my closet. I have worn ONE item a couple of times. Ask your granny about cheap, double-knit polyester fabric of the 70s and her grimace will tell you all you need to know. Only this is even cheaper, thinner than that stuff of her day. Items are generally ill-fitting, cheaply made and don't fall on me like they appear in the ads. If you like surprises and are into the idea that "I'll order ten things and maybe find one I like" and only be out 50 bucks, then this is for you. Personally, I gave it a good run and am done.
