I have previously left a review on here a little less than two weeks ago. It was really negative, so I was able to get a response promptly telling me that they are working hard to resolve the issue, and if I could so kindly update my review to something more positive. Hell no, I am most definitely not going to now. So I was told that my order was being held in customs and that they're having colleagues resolve the clearance issue to have it on it's way. Then after not hearing anything back, not seeing any updated tracking info, I left a review on here and chatted with a lot of different imbeciles, I was told that my item was returned back to thenwarehouse. I was then told (after I demanded this second shipment be sent with express shipping) that it would be reshipped. So I placed this order on 04/20/2015. Then I received correspondence back on 05/08/2015 that my order would be reshipped. First it had to be processed again. Then I received an email on 05/12/2015 telling that it's been held in customs. Then I checked my tickets on the website and was told that my order had been shipped. So all of this is $#*!ing bull$#*!. And if I don't get my stuff before 05/22/2015, I will make sure to leave negative reviews everywhere, contact the federal trade commission, the better business bureau and try to get this website shut down. :)

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE. Daughter want a sweater from them, payment take immediately and email came in minutes later that item being processed. A day later I received an email that the item has shipped with a tracking number. I checked the tracking number a few days later and much to my surprise item had no tracking information. I keep checking tracking and still nothing. I contacted via email as there is no phone number.(which ticks me off to no end). They gave me a new tracking number and that doesn't exsist as well. I don't know if I will ever get my shipment AND/OR a refund. I'm Super P*ssed

After my first order, I wasn't sure how to find the order and had difficulty with the account information. I called Shein and they helped me with it. After I received my 2nd order, I decided to return some things from each order. I managed to generate 2 return labels, but when I print them they are the wrong size, and they will not print as the right size. When I tried to find the phone number, it wasn't there. When I googled the number, I found it but it is only a busy signal. Live chat, which is listed on their site (and which they claim on social media is available), is NOT available. There is no way to start a chat. The ONLY thing you can do is submit a ticket based on pre-existing topics that do not address my concerns. I I have no doubt they will only generate an automatic emails based on the pre-existing topics I am forced to select. Its a waste of time (and money), but then that is what they are counting on. I did manage to contact them on facebook messenger and they say they are going to try to manually send the labels to my email. We shall see.
If that does not work, I am going to ship these back hopefully with the QR code so the post office can generate a label, but after reading these reviews, I am going to insure the stuff I'm sending back in case they claim they haven't received something. I'm not playing these games with them, and I will never order from them again.

I placed an order for two items, I should have been charged one price as I had applied the 30% off coupon, the correct price was shown, however, when I submitted payment, the coupon was changed, and I was charged a higher price. I immediately emailed the company minutes after placing the order. I included the screenshots which showed the correct price, and then I showed screenshots of what I was ultimately charged. I requested from the beginning that I receive a refund for the extra charge, or to escalate my issue to a supervisor to resolve it immediately. Lastly, I advised if it could not resolved cancel my order. The reps intentionally wasted five days emailing me with generic replies or asking for information or screenshots I provided days prior. They intentionally waited until the order shipped to then respond and say that order could not be cancelled as it shipped. This order could have been cancelled or I could have received a refund for the overage almost five days ago, but they decided to stall and engage in dishonest business practices.

I don't understand how Shein thinks they are going to become a well established online retailer (such as boohoo or misguided) if they make returns so difficult.
- firstly you have to 'send a ticket' to ask to make a return.
I found Shein from Facebook and was very excited, as the prices are good and I'm going travelling in the New year so I could get lots of swimwear from there.
So I ordered a variety of swimwear for choice of style and size, not realising they don't accept returns of swimwear- this in itself is ridiculous. I do not know any other retailer, online or instore who do not accept returns of swimwear if unworn.
They don't even accept exchanges- I am a size 8 and all but one of the size 'small' but two small for me, but apparently they don't even give you the chance to order a variety for fit.
Legally online retailers have to refund and return items within 14 days, under the' The consumer contract Regulations', I am still waiting for a reply back about my return, but if there is any problems I will have to take this further.
I was very excited when I found this website, but I literally cannot order from them again if they don't accept return on unworn swimwear- I don't want to throw my money away.

I ordered over $50 in clothing from Sheen. It never came. I wrote complaining. They told me I signed for it...I said show me my signature. Shein offered me no discount no refund. I wrote back explaining again I have no product. They offered 60% discount. I wrote back shein offered 80% discount. I did not waste my breath with a response. Shein wrote back apologized offered 100% refund. They told me it would take 3 to 5 weeks to receive. I waited patiently. Nothing came. I wrote Sheen again I told them it had been six to eight weeks I had no money. No refund nothing Sheen then replied telling me I had to wait another three to five weeks to receive refund. 6 weeks later I received $2.66. I wrote them back asking them where the rest of my money was until this date which my order was in October
2022 and this is February 2023I have not received another penny except the $2.66. They tell you they will give you a refund they LIE their customer service is horrible. I would NOT recommend SHEIN to anyone. The only thing I offer in this review is to warn you not to shop there. Ann Betz

I came across the Shein app on my iphone and decided to try to try it since I saw so many positive user reviews. The shipping took a while because the company is based out of Hong Kong even though the app gave you an impression that they are US based. When I finally received my items I couldn't believe how different they looked in person verses on their website /social media blogger reviews. The inseam is uneven, the material is very cheap, the lace/crochet is on the verge of falling apart, the inside liners are all wrinkled (not from shipping, mind you, but from being sewn unevenly), the zippers are crooked, the sleeves/shoulders don't line up. One of the dresses I bought even had unhemmed edges! Mind you I was concerned about the quality in the first place, so I diligently checked the photos of every single item from the user reviews. I made sure not to purchase any item that didn't have user review photos. Unfortunately, I think Shein either has staff post photos or they send high quality items to their reviewers in the first place.
Now I have to look into returning 5 items days after receiving them. According to their App, I would have call their customer service first, then package everything up in its original packaging (plastic bags), PAY for shipping myself, and also somehow ensure the package arrives back to them within 30 days. :( This is just a whole lot of trouble for NOTHING. Great! Now I'm supposed to look for the plastic bags I tore apart... let's see what happens when I call their customer service. :(

I've made 3 orders so far on this website and haven't had any major problems with them.
The clothes I've bought were all vey nice and lovely to wear. Materials are really nice and they all come in a kinda zip lock packaging(?) which I like to use to it store the clothes and to protect it from getting dusty. You can also use it for travelling to such as to keep your shoes separately from your clothes etc. which is why those bags are really useful so definitely keep them!
I've also purchased other items such as jewellery, homeware. All products are really good, no problems with it and they work really well.
As with websites and companies like this, clothes can be a hit or miss as some clothes can be too big or too small as they are I think mainly Asian sizes. But you can always read the thousands of reviews people make on items and returns can easily be made.
Returns are very easy to do. As you can submit your refund, pack it up in the same packaging or your own packaging. Shein also provides a free label (free one for each order) for you to print off and then you can send off at the post office or use your own label. Refund takes at least 7-10 days from the day you send off the item.
I haven't had any problems with the refund process or buying process from this company.
Overall, products are really nice and cheap too. Easy website to use and return process is easy too. I definitely recommend!

I bought five tops that looked really cool online. The order came in two different packages. The first package had a different blouse than the one I ordered. When the second package arrived a few days later, of the four items, all in my correct size, three of them had such tight sleeves, it was almost like the sleeves were a smaller size. Getting the return label was a bit of a hassle, but I bundled up the four returned items (I opted to NOT ask for the correct first piece, just money back), and took it to the post office. The was Oct 15. According to USPS tracking, my package was picked up at 5 pm the next day. Oct 16. That's when everything stopped. Nine days later it was still "in transit". Next day, 10 days after it was picked up in Ventura, Ca, it still hadn't arrived in their facility, 100 miles away. But I had paid by credit card, so that's when I emailed them (NO CUSTOMER SERVICE PHONE!) that if I didn't get resolution on my refund request in three days I'd open a dispute case. Amazingly, I received my exact refund amount today by email notification. What's even more amazing is that, according to their own tracking info, Shein STILL hasn't received my package, so how did they know, to the penny, how much to refund me?

I recently discovered Shein and have made several orders (T-shirts, pajamas, hair clips, cosmetic brushes, etc and recently plastic box organizers). The size charts are hit or miss, the quality of the merchandise is extremely poor (stitching, material (weird odor), the plastic boxes came cracked and lid wouldn't close [they were wrap in 1 layer small bubble wrap and in a plastic bag), and just in, the satin pajamas bled in the wash (I used cold setting) discoloring the whole load. While some stuff is returnable, other stuff is not, EVEN IF IT CAME DAMAGED! One of the plastic containers had something black (bug?) pressed into it. The return process is difficult - you can spend more money in the printing, packing material and gas than the $10, $5 or $2 dollars you are trying to retrieve. And the $30 and $50 orders add up. They suck you in with really nice pictures online, but most of the merchandise doesn't come close to those pictures. There is no customer service, not even a place to e-mail someone online. Also, they change prices quickly - some stuff I ordered and didn't even receive yet, price lowered by 50%, and they do not do price adjustments. I Wish I never found this website.

When ordering from this site, one is taking a big chance - a lot of stuff is not as pictured, not sized correct or misshapen (how can you mess up pajama bottoms - I'm 5'4", 120lbs, I usually don't even have to try on Walmart pajamas and they always fit), cheap quality, chemical odor from some materials, and broken or doesn't work. And for the plastic box that is broken, useless, they's won't refund. I got enticed by the pictures, but very very disappointed in actual merchandise.

Absolutely disgusting service, my partner put an order through … paid for it and she received an email saying her order had t gone through, so she went back on the site and bought the stuff again only to find two payments had come out of her bank and the original order had gone through fine.
She contacted Shein asking why she received an email saying her order hadn't gone through and wanted her money refunding … bearing in mind the items wouldn't have left the warehouse yet and their reply was that she will have to wait till the items arrive, then return them and wait 30 days for the refund. HORRENDOUS SERVICE will never order from them again absolute robbing c***s

Do NOT order from this company. I ordered on 9/7 and was FULLY charged immediately for my items. I DID NOT RECEIVE my items until 10/7... ONE MONTH LATER! And I swear the only reason I received them then was because I was sending emails regularly to check on status. I truly believe this company hopes you'll forget you ordered from them and just take your $$.
I ordered two cardigans..."one size". One is HUGE and the other is so small the sleeves don't reach my hands! Both are fraying and falling apart. Neither has any tags, no price tag or even instruction on cleaning tags. Extremely shady in my opinion! I attempted to email to discuss return/refund and received a generated email in response saying they were out on holiday... so I went to PayPal to dispute claim and they immediately declined it! Huh! You can't respond to my email but you can decline my claim on paypal?

I bought two pairs of shoes from this website, both pairs are poorly made with cheap materials and strong toxic plastic smells from China, one pair flats is deformed and unwearable. When I contacted the Customer service they told me to mail them back and they will only cover the return shipping fees if the items are defective which they are, so I paid $17USD to ship them back for refunds and emailed them a copy of the receipt. One of the customer service rep said it was noted on my account. But then a few days later when they received the package, they only refunded the amount for the shoes and not the return shipping. When I contacted them again, a different customer service rep said they only "noted" the return, but not agreed to cover the return shipping. It was totally misleading and lied to your customers. I would never buy from this site ever again! And telling everyone I know to stay away from this site. Don't waste your time and money!
Update: Shein CS contacted me after seeing this review, they agreed to offer 1/2 of the return shipping cost as compensation. I feel I wasted so much time & effort on this order, never again.
