I ordered from Shein during Covid. I lived in a different place and received everything fine. The items we're sized weird and wound up giving most of the garments away.
Just recently, I had ordered a few items for a dance performance I have coming up and found a cool jumpsuit for working out.
I woke up around 9:30AM yesterday to get ready for a class and left my building through the back door only to find that two of my three items were sprawled on the ground and tampered with. The thief tried on my clothes, ripped the shirt and stole the jumpsuit! No original packaging found anywhere. I was and still am VERY PISSED OFF! When I got home from my class I did some more digging and running around my building hoping to find where my items went. I didn't find anything. Someone had stolen my parcel from somewhere...OH! Also I found out the package got delivered at 5AM. ON A F**KING SUNDAY! I didn't get a buzzer or notification or anything on this delivery. I don't know where it actually got dropped off because sure as hell wasn't in my mailbox.
I then wrote a complaint to SHEIN on the delivery process hoping they would replace the stolen goods only to get brushed off and unsatisfied. I am left feeling not only violated but really unimpressed by the level of NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! Their phone number doesn't even work and once you've submitted one claim you cant communicate with them immediately. Everything is very indirect and they don't give a $#*! about their customers. Just absolute garbage. Don't use them. They not only have trash quality products but even $#*!tier customer service.

These clothes ran too big on almost everything I ordered. There is no return shipping address or receipt mailed with your package. They make returns a miserable experience and do everything in their power to make it so you can't get your money back. (They'd probably be out of business if people werent stuck with the crap they sent us). Do yourself a favor and don't buy from this company. I have emailed customer service since they do not have a phone number to call. What kind of a company doesn't have a phone number to deal with customer issues? Online it says a "return authorization" must be given by the company before they will accept a return. Why would a company who values thier customers happiness and satisfaction put so many stipulations on returning products that thier customers are unhappy with?
This is what thier site says when you click returns at the bottom: We make the items by strictly following with the style and the material displayed on the site, all requests for returns such as not fond of the picture ordered, dissatisfying about the quality or material etc. are not accepted."
However when viewing the product it says: Our Guarantee
Return or exchange within 30 days from the delivered date.
Request:
1. Items received within 30 days from the delivered date.
2. Items received unused, undamaged and in original package.
3. Return shipping fee is paid by buyer.
Both my email to *******@sheinside.com and *******@sheinside.com were returned to me undeliverable.
Very contraindicating information from this site and seems like I've just been scammed out of my money.

Just like the other reviews about the customer service. Yes it's true they're terrible I ordered a dress for a wedding I received on march 25. I paid extra for the express. Any who there was a tare in the right arm. I didn't like the dress in person and it didn't fit me. The day i received it emailed the company 4 times on how to return and get my money back. Finally on April 1 I got an email from customer service and all she asked was if I want 8 dollarss for the tare in the dress. In all of my emails I said the same thing over and over again that I would like my full amount and to return the dress. Then on the 4 of April they finally responded to my emails and asked if I would like another dress. Wtf!?! How many times do I have to say I want my money back and I want to return this dress!?! Till this day I haven't heard from this company, and no one has helped me on how to return or get my money back.
So a little old for an update but the company emailed me starring they will return my money. But if they give me my refund they wanted me to take down my review. WTH um no.

Well, I was pleasantly surprised and very happy when I received my first order from Shein.
I ordered 12 items on 4/24/16 which were split between three separate shipments. I received the jewelry within a week, the second shipment came within two weeks. I am still waiting for the third shipment of two items which were back ordered and is scheduled for delivery on Mon. 5/23/16.
Everything I purchased fit and the quality of the clothing was excellent. I especially love the Wine Red Oxblood Baggy Long Sleeve Floral Flower Dress, (dress*******).
I also bought three necklaces which are very pretty, bigger and better than the website picture.
One necklace was only $3.19, (necklaceNC*******) and the other two were $5.99, (necklaceNC******* and necklaceNC*******). All three are heavy, well made costume jewelry pieces which would sell for much more elsewhere.
I am a very satisfied customer and have placed and received a second order, (which was delivered within a week) and just placed my third order today.
Out of my two orders I only had one item that did not fit at all. The button fly denim pencil skirt was extremely small. I usually wear a US size 10 or 12, so I ordered an XL and could not pull it up over my hips. It was more like a size 0. What a shame because I really like the skirt, it's heavy denim material and well made.
I would highly recommend Shein to anyone based on my shopping experience with them. They are a good value, quality items for a good price.

There is no one and literally no way to contact a Shein customer service agent. I placed a minimal $ amount order and every item except one had to be returned because the material was so thin and cheap. Somehow they have one of my bank card details for a card not ever used with Shein and that's where they applied the refund. While waiting for my refund to post to the card I used to pay for that order- not knowing they posted it elsewhere-I placed another small order thinking I needed to spend a little more for higher quality fabrics and clothing. Well within a few hours I cancelled that order because I read reviews about Shein and decided this isn't a company I want to do business with. I never recieved a confirmation email of the canceled order. Checking the cancellation through their app at a later time it's showing refunded but I still do not have my money back and it hasn't posted to any of my other cards, like it rightfully should not but did already happen with the first order. The automated bot really sucks too and cannot resolve the issues it's customers have. There's no email, no phone number, literally no way to correspond with Shein. This is a highly sketchy company with poor, thin and cheap quality materials used. China? Child labor? Don't know but they're very sceptical in every way the public is easily able to verify! BE LEARY SHARING YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO IN THIS SITE.

Shein will allow one free return over the life of your account so if you need to return due to poor quality, or to exchange for a different size you'll be paying $7.99 per returned item.

THIS SITE SEEMS TO BE RUNNING A SCAM!
BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR PAYMENTS/CREDIT CARD
I wanted to order something from sheinside and while everything seemed fine until i tried to checkout i noticed i would get a 20% discount if i signed in through fb- which i did.
So before the discount my order total was $129.89
I see that there is a box on the bottom left that says 20% off for sharing this order on facebook (discount applied if logged in through fb for first time buyers)
I checked that box and guess what happens- my order total becomes $127.64( just $2 off when it should have been $25.8 off)
I am thinking what happened and realized that the site only took off 2% instead of 20%. Tried another code available for 20% off instead of the FB- the result - SAME
Contacted the online chat... no response... emailed... no response...
No matter what coupon code you apply it does not take off the discount its supposed to. It seems like a carefully planned math glitch to target buyers who get sidetracked by their "so called cheap" prices.

My hair started falling out after wearing jewellery and clothes purchased from SHEIN. I tested all my SHEIN jewellery and found almost every piece had lead in it. Due to this, I decided to test all of my SHEIN products (clothes, hats and shoes) and found that quite a few items came back with a positive result for lead as well. I did the same tests on jewellery, clothes and shoes that I have bought from other stores and there were no positive results, so it's not an issue of false positives with the test. SHEIN told me I'd have to pay for additional testing in an official laboratory (which would cost me up to $1,500). They wouldn't allow me to return the items with lead in them and took no responsibility for the problem, instead saying that they already test all of their products and none of them have lead in them (which obviously isn't true given the number of items I found that contained it). A quick google search found that this is not a random case and there have been other SHEIN products which were independently tested and found to contain lead and other dangerous chemicals (PFAS and phthalates), even in baby clothes.
Please do your research on this company before buying anything from them. At the end of the day, nothing is worth compromising your health for, and SHEIN won't help you if you do find issues with their products. Their practices are bad for the environment as well as for people and it could harm your health in the long run. I never would have bought anything from SHEIN if I'd known this beforehand. I would highly recommend avoiding this store.

I have had nothing but issues with this site. I ordered a dress on 10/4 for a wedding on 10/25. It is now 10/21 and I have yet to hear anything about where this item may be. I did receive an email on 10/8 saying 2 of my orders had failed, whatever that meant. I went on the site and signed into my account and saw that there were 2 different orders, both around $30, that were pending. I had never ordered anything else besides the one dress so I have no idea how these "orders" were pending. They both said they were waiting for my payment confirmation which I luckily never did, so I'm guessing they were trying to scam me into adding on to my order. I have tried the online chat and it never loads and have emailed multiple times asking what is going on. The money is taken from my account immediately but after almost 3 weeks I can't even get a response as to where my order is?
Another thing, when I open up the "My Orders" part in my account, the actual dress that I bought isn't even in there. It's like they took my money and my order doesn't even exist. I also have tried putting my order confirmation number that I received way back when I paid for the dress into the tracking section and nothing comes up. This is the biggest scam I have ever been a part of and I will NEVER recommend this site to anyone! I hope people read these reviews before thinking about ordering anything from this site! Luckily I bought a different dress, from a real store, and don't have to sit around hoping mine magically appears within the next few days!
There is no way this site would ever receive good reviews, so whoever these people are actually giving them 5 stars and saying good things must be employees!
