They refuse to refund me my packages that have been reshipped to the wrong address that the team is making up. The address on record is correct and when they send the package, they don't use the address on record. Their customer service says that because the address they have is correct they cant do anything. I know the address they have on record is correct, I input it myself. USPS has assured me over 5 times (the amount of times this has happened) they cannot stop a package from being returned to sender due to incomplete address if the sender inputs the address wrong and only commerce can edit address so there is nothing anyone can do to help this but SHEIN itself and they refuse. They have sent the packages 5 times to entirely different zip codes than my own and when confronted with these facts with screenshots, chat transcripts and evidence form USPS, they deny that they have done this. USPS can confirm they in fact have done this and even with proof from USPS, they do not take accountability and refuse to fix this. It's been almost a month of this and over 7 customer service contact attempts to resolve this with them directly. Stop making false claims of customer commitment, because i have shopped there for years and the one time I need customer service (and I will continue to emphasize I only need customer service due to COMPANY ERROR, NOT USER ERROR) you completely disregard the issue and responsibility. Never have I evert had a multi billion dollar business deny that they have done something I have PROOF of just To not have to refund me my own money. I used to love SHEIN and I will absolutely never sponsor them ever again.

I ordered a Faux leather Shacket, early January 2023, it was cheap, thin, vinyl looking, lining cheap and clingy. This was my first try and order from this company. Their policy for the first item ordered and returned is a full refund will be given back to the way you paid.I searched the policy and an email sent to me about being charged for a label sent to me, nothing disclosed about this. This company is a scam, lie to make money. Then they sent me an email regarding this, saying they refunded me all of what I paid. Very poor custmer service, they don't have time to listen there customer, I have order so many product from shein and after the payment they send me msg on

I am writing because I would like to open a dispute with Shein as soon as possible.

I purchased $288.48 worth of items on May 6th, 2020 with no sign of my package yet. I have contact Shein several times through two forms of contact: Instagram and through the Shein App. Each time that I sent an inquiry regarding my order, I am given an automated response through social media and the Shein App which tells me to contact the shipper (FedEx). I have contacted FedEx several times and FedEx has informed me that they do not have the package. In fact, Shein still has possession of the package. Shein keeps telling me through their automated systems that the package has not reached the United States, which is false.

I even had to open an additional ticket through the Shein after Shein INVOLUNTARILY closed my original ticket after I told them NOT TO. I have also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau regarding Shein.

Updated review:
Someone from Shein contacted me and refunded the money. Instructions on returns should be worded a bit better to prevent further confusion or add photos that show what you mean...
1. On the website it says "Free Returns IN THE US" I am in the U.S. They always deduct $7.99 from the item you return. So the return is NEVER FREE. I went in to their return policy, it states:

We accept returns postmarked within 60 days of the original purchase date.
Use our return label to postmark your return within 40 days from the purchase date, and WE'LL COVER the shipping cost.
For returns after 40 DAYS FROM the purchase date, or additional returns AFTER the first return of the same order, a $7.99 fee will be deducted per package, or you can process your return by using your local post office at your own cost.

The package comes all the way from China, it takes about a week 1/2 to get to Florida with their shipping service. I always make sure to try on the items the same day, so that if I need to return it, it wont take me more than two days from the day I receive it in order to avoid the 7.99 charge. RETURNS are NOT FREE IN THE US. Why do they keep deducting money for returns in different orders?

2. The materials are pretty bad. Most of their stuff is made of 100% polyester. Most people wont dare to wear leggings made of 100% polyester (because fabric is very thin, stretchy, see-through and looks cheap), imagine an entire dress. These are materials that are used for cheap Halloween costumes at Walmart, keep that in mind. Same thing goes for their other materials: Cotton? Always a blend, Sheer fabric? Some of them are made of organza (curtains and table overlays), Sheer voile (banquet hall chair cover)... I am sure there are other examples I can use, but you get my drift.
Now, now. There are a few items that are made of a decent material, but there are too many items that fall under point 2. Kind of 2 of every 6 items. I felt I was taking too many chance. Many people that were reviewing the item didn't seem bothered by those materials. I LOVE the styles in SheIn, but the quality blows. The quality is either - clothes that have gotten quickly discolored, damaged or comes apart at the seams. Always buy the product if a ton of people reviewed it and posted a photo, but you wont find out what the real quality is until you have worn it for a month.

Honestly horrendous service. With all the negative reviews they've been getting, I have no idea how they can still be getting sales.

Avoid this site. They take weeks to ship items that claim they will be shipped within a few days. As such, items that I'd purchased as gifts for people were no longer viable for me. Due to their false information re: shipping times, I had to purchase other gifts from other stores to give to the people I'd bought these gifts for. Due to this being their fault, I wanted a refund but was told I would need to pay for return shipping. This seems completely bizarre to me considering that it was THEIR fault and not mine that these items didn't arrive within the time frames they specified.

Quality is also horrendous. Threads hanging off the clothes and shoddy quality. Very sheer polyester like material - cheap quality, looks awful. Poor workmanship. Sizing is also very bad - they do not conform to standard sizes. Some of the dresses I bought are laughable. If I went out in what they advertise as a 'dress' I'd be getting a few stares from people because they're so short that it looks like a tshirt. Sizing on the blouses I bought are also incredibly off. When I raised this with the incredibly rude and slow to respond customer service rep online, I was told that their sizes worked for other people. This conversation took 1+ hours and nothing was resolved. They are VERY rude and have no idea how to satisfy customers. This won't work for them long term. They have NFI how to interact with customers in a polite or respectful manner and they can't even form proper sentences. Not good for a company selling on an international scale.

After this issue and the gift issue, I was very frustrated with their service and asked that they cover the return postage (FYI, the company is actually located in CHINA and this isn't referred to anywhere on the site). The shipping cost to send this back for my order ($100+ worth of clothing) is incredibly hefty and I believe it is completely unjust to expect that I pay that considering that they are the ones in the wrong.

Please read reviews carefully, I suspect that they even write their own 'positive' reviews on these sites and I know from reading other reviews, people have been asked to delete their negative feedback. Their Facebook page also hides customer comments to the left of the page and those who raise a concern are frequently asked to private message them instead.

This site needs to be reported, they can't keep providing such awful service and products and getting away with it.

UPDATE 12/30. Two of the three items ordered finally arrived. Quality is fine. Sized WAYYYY too small. Large shirt would fit an average 14-15 year old. Still waiting for the third short to arrive. Returns not so easy as I can't figure out where to get the return tracking number from. Since they have free returns I assume they provide the numbers. I am guessing it will take another week for someone to get back to me about this as well.

BUYER BEWARE!
We placed our order on 12/5. I checked it on 12/12 to get a tracking number and it said the order was "processing". Took customer service 3 days to get back to me and let me know:
" Your order been shipped out. But the tracking number still have not been updated for now. So we cant stop it when it is in transit
If you are our register customer, please login your account and find MY ORDERS to check your tracking information. If you can not find the information on the website, please check later because the shipping company needs time to update the information. Or you can email us about the tracking number few days later. "

This sounds like they just shipped it out yesterday! When I check the tracking now there is an added button call URGING SHIPMENT so it sounds like this is an issue for them. This whole process seems fishy to me. I needed this order by a certain date and now it looks like there is no telling when it will reach me. I will NOT be ordering from this site again."

UPDATE 12/18 - CUST SERV got back to me giving me a tracking number - but when I checked the tracking number it doesn't even show that the shipment has been sent yet - still PROCESSING! STAY AWAY FROM PURCHASING WITH THIS COMPANY! IF I DO NOT RECEIVE NOTICE THAT SHIPMENT HAS BEEN SENTWITHIN THE NEXT WEEK I AM REPORTING THEM TO THE US BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. These shipments are coming from China - BUYER BEWARE

What a terrible experience - First I ordered with choosing the option so I don't have to pay the customs, but still I was asked to pay customs. I contacted customer service and they returned it quickly. Then the courier company delivers and says delivered and signed by - but don't mention who signed the delivery - so I check with my husband and tenants - and called the company and they say it wasn't signed and left on the stairs to my house and show the picture - mind you, I have received gazillions more expensive packages at my doorstep with no signatures from Costo, Amazon, Canadian Tire, etc., but just SHEIN package doesn't arrive - I ask courier company can they please check what happened, maybe courier guy took it with him accidentally (happens with the routine of the job) - they took 3 days to figure out no, we have no update, than another 15 days for marking it lost (every day it was we are trying, need managers approval, etc.), in the meantime, I am trying to reach customer service but they are offline or won't reply to my emails. Today by gods grace reached out to customer service, there is no customer care or empathy or sympathy and I asked how long it will take - then they were like agree to these statements, I agreed - then it was like 2-7 business days, thank you

This was my first experience, I was here because of the thousands of people promoting SHEIN, and I was like they had a great experience and so should I - I was so wrong, Please be very careful and buy at your own risk because I don't think this company cares or will even bother to help you when you need help. I am now scared to even try AliExpress as both companies are Chinese and wondering if that is the norm with customer service with these companies

PS: I have not received any products to take pictures and review so far, however while purchasing did realise that their sizes are not same through out - so a size XL will be different inches in each product, so if you still buy, choose wisely

Buy at your own risk, and sizes for clothing is not same so choose sizes wisely - not sure about the quality

One of the best online portal for shopping so far! It is a really good thing that sheinside.com is exclusively for the shopping needs of a woman. They have collections ranging from all over the world, which in fact left me with several choices before zeroing in on a few. Different categories of dresses are correctly categorized, which makes it easy to find what you are looking for. Also, the filters available saved my time in searching what I actually needed without any difficulty. I wanted to gift a few dresses to my fiancé and ran into sheinside.com. After having had a wonderful experience with sheinside.com, I thought of writing a review about the same.
My fiancé liked the products I had ordered for her and was truly amazed by the collections the website has to offer. After trying the apparels I gifted her, she browsed the website and placed an order for a few more Chiffon dresses. The style gallery column helped me decide on what would look the best and it is very much genuine, as the products delivered perfectly matched the ones shown in the pictures.
The products are perfectly priced and it is a sweet offer that shipping for orders above 30$ are free! The discounts offered are truly surprising, with no other portal offering such great discounts without any compromise in the product and service quality. I had to change a product I had ordered and contacted the online help immediately on placing the order for the same. They handled my concern without any hassles and soon enough, I received confirmation on the change in product I was looking for.
The transaction happened with much ease when I was checking out the products in my cart. Also, on top of the very competitive pricing, incredible discounts were offered with a few pre-sale products barging a discount of 50%! The products were delivered well before the expected delivery date, which makes shopping on sheinside.com a very exciting and on-time experience. The tracking of products gives updates on a highly regular basis about where the shipment has reached. The delivery was prompt and I had received a notification well in advance about the day and the shipment arrived at my doorstep as promised. The products were packaged wonderfully with much care and the product was sealed.
The overall experience with sheinside.com is a wonderful one and I would not consider using any other e-commerce portal for shopping for my fiancé. Waiting for sheinside.com to start a new website or section for men!

I will repeat what most of the other real reviews say: DO NOT SHOP AT THIS SITE! Please notice that most of the 5 star reviews are from people whose ONLY review is for sheinside. More than likely, they are FAKE reviews by the staff of Sheinside. Sheinside is unreliable and although the clothes are cheap, you may not receive them at all so in the end you are giving away your money and getting nothing in return. I registered for this site just because Sheinside is such an outrage that I can't believe they are getting away with what they are doing.

My situation:
The shipping took almost a month, so by the time the order had shipped I was on vacation with my family. When I returned and checked the tracking number, it said that the package had been delivered but I obviously did not receive it, and my neighbors had not seen it. I then contacted the post office and the post office said that the package was not there. Sheinside does not have signature confirmation even though they take a ridiculously long time shipping (~1 month) and they ship overseas, so your package can be lost at any time and if the package actually arrives it can just be dumped at your door without a signature so that it can be stolen. In addition, customer service at Sheinside is unhelpful and refused to resend the items or give me a refund. They basically kept repeating that it was the fault of the post office, no matter what I said to them. It was like they did not or just chose not to understand what I was saying. IF THERE IS NO DELIVERY CONFIRMATION, THE POST OFFICE IS ALLOWED TO PUT THE PACKAGE OUTSIDE YOUR DOOR SO THE POST OFFICE IS NOT AT FAULT! A responsible sender needs to ensure that the package is delivered in a SECURE manner, especially if it comes from overseas!

I have paid ~$100 to Sheinside for a package that has somehow been lost or stolen because of an unreliable shipping method THAT THE SENDER HAS CHOSEN and the sender refuses take responsibility for it or correct it in any way. Basically, this means that I have given $100 away and waited for a MONTH on my order and I have gotten nothing for it. Order at your OWN risk, because once you order, REGARDLESS of whether you receive your item or not, your money is theirs forever.
