Avoid at all costs: Prices are what drew me to it - but MAN -- is the quality just sub par.

I order 11 items: 3 came in a week. The rest were 'processing' (I find out that is due to one item being difficult to 'find'). However, they processed my payment for the full order immediately. So they were happy to take my money - just not provide me with the items I ordered as quickly.

To date, it's been 9 days since my order. I received three items. I am not sure what measure they use to size... but it's nothing I've ever seen. The items I did receive were larges... but would fit a teenager. And the quality -- I got what I paid for.

Given that I can't wear the items - I am returning the three. I cancelled my remaining order: I am not confident the sizes will be something I can wear, and I really don't like taking my payment before they ship the entire order.

Seriously - proceed with this site at your own risk.

**Update: I finally received all the items. I also received several emails from them asking them to change my review. The items I received -- sizes all over the map. Some fit, some don't. I am donating the items that don't fit - just so I don't have to deal with this company any more. I really resent them asking me to change my review. In fact, it seems they are more concerned with my review getting changed than my being a satisfied customer. So, to the Shein folks asking for the change - consider my review changed. To potential customers - used my story as a cautionary tale.

I really like the clothes at shein. They fit true to size and returns are simple and quick. I like the interface of the website and the app. They also have a lot of discount deals.

I think the quality of clothing has decreased with its popularity. Only few clothing are the original quality. I don't mind paying much if it's better quality instead of low quality and cheap price.

Yes, you get cheap clothes that are either made ok and you can wear them for a little bit and then they tear, or they are horrible and made with the worst material and their sizes are WAY off. Recently I ordered a bunch of dresses. I ordered a SMALL because I am 5'0 and 115lbs. They were made horribly, the material was like a rock, and they were HUGE. They fit like an XXL. Their return policy is also terrible because as you know, the dresses cost like $8-$14 and the refund policy is you have to PAY to return them. I believe it was like $7.00. Obviously, I'm not doing that. So, I sent them all the pictures they need and asked them for a refund WITHOUT sending them back, OR someone could come to my house and pick it up (from the mail service) WITHOUT me paying for shipping. After a week of arguing, they gave me two options. 1. keep the dresses and get 30% off. 2. DESTROY the dresses, cut them up, send them a picture, and get a full refund. How terrible is that?!? I told them I could donate them (I live in Portland and there are a ton of homeless here that need clothes) and that they should be ashamed of themselves.

I will NEVER use this company again

I placed my first order with Sheln. One of the items I received was not the item I ordered. Returned the item. Received message from Sheln that they were going to refund the item I was keeping. (the less expensive item) I said no. I was keeping that item. Had to send photos of the item that was incorrect, and had to send photos of the item I was keeping to straighten it out.

The item I returned was $27.00. I received a refund of $16.50 today. Now, I have been communicating with them for 14 days. FOURTEEN DAYS! I just sent a message to them, and asked to speak to a manager. I want to know how they calculated the $16.50. Asked the rep I was communicating with, but won't tell me. If they are charging me for return shipping, that would be horrible customer service, as they sent the wrong item, and why should I have to pay to return it?

Also, used a $3 coupon for the order. No requirements to use the coupon, such as a minimum order. Now I am being told that the $3 will be deducted from my order. I disagree with this. The coupon should be applied to the item I am keeping. Once again, I want to point out that I was sent the wrong item.

I am so frustrated with this company, that I want to tell everyone to beware of this company.

Fourteen days I have been communicating with them to resolve this issue. What company in the US would take 14 days to resolve a problem?

Sent them a message today asking to speak to a manager. Wonder if I will receive a response?

I am happy with the item I am keeping. However, due to the poor customer service I have received, I will never, NEVER order from Sheln again.

Never have I bought such poor quality items, and had ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE! Insult to injury, they expect me to pay shipping to return all unfit for purpose items (Only 1st item returned is free return shipping), how dare they take my money & THEN charge people a fortune (amount at THEIR DISCRETION) to return defective, worthless product. Words cannot describe the low level of quality at Shein, and if you want to spend your hard-earned money just to be disappointed, you will have found your nirvana for that! Read all the reviews from all over the world (BUT NOT ON THEIR SITE, THEY REFUSE TO PUBLISH HONEST, PROOF OF PURCHASE REVIEWS WITH PHOTOGRAPHS) and laugh at us fools whose money they've taken and make it impossible to return due to broken AI system.

They should only be allowed to operate in the same country and region as where the goods are manufactured because we expect far superior quality than their NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE items! My wigs are going in the bin, they are NOTHING like the photos and the quality isn't even fit for a single costume party, let alone daily wear for those with medical issues.

Self-respecting Governments should protect their citizens by stepping up and banning Shein, not least because they provide ZERO PERSON TO PERSON CUSTOMER SERVICE, just a malfunctioning bot that keeps shutting down or saying, "I'll try harder". NOTE: SHEIN REFUSE TO PUBLISH ANY NEGATIVE REVIEWS ON THEIR SITE, ESPECIALLY WITH PHOTOS PROVING QUALITY ISSUES.

Tip for consumers:
Don't use the site, just don't, unless you like using sideshow alley standard of goods in your day to day life.

Products used:
Hair ties & spray bottle. The rest of the order, inc. 2 x wigs in the trash, not worth driving 30 miles in a V8 gas-guzzling car only to have Shein deduct shipping for returning any items after the first one being returned, because they're not fit for anything.
