I absolutely love Thrive Market! Almost everything they offer is at a better price than what you'll find in stores, and for the few items that aren't - I just pick those up at a regular store. The annual membership fee is completely worth it. I saved enough on my first two orders to make the membership fee pay for itself!
My favorite thing, though, is that I can get all of the specialty, vegan goodies I love without having to make a big, expensive trip to the store. It's been so nice to be able to really limit my time spent out in public during this pandemic, and Thrive has been a big part of that for me.
I personally recommend pairing your Thrive Market box with a weekly order of produce from Imperfect Foods - doing this has brought my grocery bill down by about $50-$80 every week!

Love Thrive Market! They have products that are not only cheaper but aren't even available at my local Whole Foods. I also love the fact that they care about our environment and helping other people. Will always be a customer.

On a positive note---I am thankful you carry items for our "strange" diets that are difficult to find. Prices are generally reasonable, some of them a bit high. Shipping is generally within a reasonable amount of time. Negatives---I do agree with others that you require an email before browsing, which is extremely annoying and a bad marketing plan. I almost didn't join because of that! You do promise a free item with every order, but decided to stop that because of COVID19, which makes no sense. I would NOT recommend anyone buy anything canned as I have had several items in several orders badly damaged. Thrive did credit our account, but that's not the point. Package items better, handle items with more care, whatever the issue is. Considering not rejoining next year.

I would give negative stars if I could. When I placed my order there was absolutely no indication that they were going to charge me $65 for "membership". Why would I give them $65 to save a few pennies on stuff I buy once in a blue moon. Be ready to be charged membership without notice.

Thrive Market provides a terrific service and a convenient alternative to Amazon only shopping! I love sending Thrive gifts with free shipping to my son who lives in Montana. The prices for things like Avocado mayonnaise, ghee, and coconut aminos are much lower than Whole Foods. In addition, the chat help is truly helpful when one has questions. I wish they had fresh produce, but what they have is good at a fair price. During this pandemic crisis, it's nice to have their service and concern for giving to communities in need.

I have nothing negative to say about Thrive.
I love all the products they are carrying, there is so much choice! The delivery is always impeccable, packaged well, and with sustainable packaging. Even better is their customer services, they will not let you down. I highly recommend Thrive and the membership fee is well worth it!

Same story as all the rest. Had a promotion of free coconut oil and only pay shipping. Cancelled free trial but didn't realize I was charged until renewal fees just showed up on my email. Called company. Spoke with customer service, supervisor and then manager of marketing. All with same answer, we cannot refund your $60. Too late for cc company to refund. They wouldn't let me speak to CEO and so on. Is there somewhere we can get them shut down? CEOS have Facebook pages and LinkedIn pages. Company is in Marina del Rey California. I will not stop until I get a refund. Duped and angry.

I surely feel like a queen who uses her fingers to order wholesome and healthy products instead of having to leave the house. It also helps to be reminded of my past orders to see if I would like to order some things again. Awesome! Reason for four stars: some products I wanted were not available.

I have many food intolerances and using Thrive makes life so much easier. Not to mention the ease of ordering from home and having everything show up at my door. No more spending hours in a grocery store checking labels which is inconvenient and very dangerous now in the era of Coronavirus. Keep up the good work providing excellent healthy products.

I absolutely love Thrive Market. Such an easy and convenient way to get all the products I want with the added benefit of a discount. Everything arrived safe and sound. Ordered glass containers and they were packed sturdily. Very impressive paper packaging. Looking forward to this relationship to be able to obtain keto products I need for my diet. The prices are outstanding.

Never bought from them. Joined 1 hour the free membership, cancelled next hour. They sent me cancellation confirmation email but later I've noticed the Paypal autho is still active, so they were going to charge me after 30. Best stay clear of this situation.

Despite Amazon's gargantuan size, Thrive offers some excellent products for significantly less than Amazon. Thrive's coconut milk, organic pumpkin puree, ghee, and coconut oil, and peanut butter are top-rate. Delicious array of frozen animal protein. I am now ordering their paleo meals, they sound great. Thrive's frozen shipments arrive fully frozen. Ethically, Thrive offers a superior alternative to Amazon's inhumane and destructive demands on their employees, including their current delivery service. You can donate a portion of your payment to disadvantaged populations. And Thrive offers 20% off storewide sale days. Excellent use of your money, whether they beat others' prices or not. Fully recommend.

I ordered some soup mixes on a free trial offer and decided to cancel right away, because it was expensive considering I needed to add most of the ingredients. So what are you buying? Anyway, that was just the start of my bad experience. As so many others have described, unsubscribing is a surrealistic process that clearly marks this outfit as a scam. After starting the cancellation process in February, I just had a debit against my account for a membership renewal. I call them, gave them an earful, and received a promise that they would refund my money.

Given how many unhappy people have written on this site, I suggest we all write to the Attorney General of California to ask they investigate this company for consumer fraud. Here is the link: https://oag.ca.gov/contact/consumer-complaint-against-business-or-company

I have been using Thrive Market since 2016, when I had a health challenge that made shopping difficult. I loved the service so much, that even when I recovered, I still used it. Now, during the Pandemic, it has been a lifeline. I love that the products are sustainably sourced and there is the opportunity to contribute so that another family can get what they need. However our problem with their service which we cancelled in four fold

1.8 of the 20 cans of beans we ordered were badly dented

The packaging looked good, it looks like they were placed in the box already damaged.

2. The disclosure of the 60 some dollars yearly fee is not readily apparent, but we were aware of that and had planned on canceling the membership after placing the order.

3. Their reviews on the web are terrible... I wish we had checked them out before we placed the order...

4. We can buy same item from target on line for only 5% more, whom will give customer service from an on line purchase... at their brick and motor store nearby.

My husband is a healthy 78-years-young and while I'm a bit younger, I have a physical disability which makes it difficult for me to shop alone. Thrive, I'm not exaggerating when I say you are a life-saver for us! I honestly don't know what we would do without you! I know it takes longer to receive the orders, but I'm planning accordingly.

I have shopped at Thrive Market for over 5 years now and I love it! I shop gluten free and Thrive makes it very easy to find what I am looking for, I don't even have to think about it much! The cost are lower than going into the local stores to purchase items, many of them are not available to my local stores. I have items come to my house broken or damaged and one call to customer service they shipped out a new item and refunded the cost!

Thrive Market is just great from so many points of view. I get things that I can't find locally, (even if I wanted to go to the store... which I don't) at good prices (some even cheaper than my co-op buying group) AND I get to help others by tithing my savings. I know from reading materials posted that they are trying to care for their employees as well. My only suggestion would be: use the Post Office instead of UPS! USPO needs our support these days. Thanks. Eating some of my Santa Cruz peanut butter as I write this. :)

I enjoy being able to buy some of my groceries from a business that cares about the earth and selling healthful items. The delivery is timely. The items are usually good quality. I can tell that they are often trying to add new items. Often items I've purchased within the last 2-6 months aren't available. Thrive labels them "back soon" but it typically takes quite a while, if they come back at all. Also, I'm not sure where they get their comparison prices. They may be competitive with Whole Foods, but not many typical markets. Also, in their attempt to secure the items that could potentially spill in the box, they use a LOT of plastic bags. I appreciate the insurance, but hate getting all of those bags.

Tip for consumers:
It's handy to use your previous orders to quickly find your routine items.

Products used:
I typically buy their apple cider vinegar, coconut oil, spices, fabric softener, compostable trash bags, soups, and Stevia. I have purchased other items, but these are my staples.I would buy more items, but they are often out of 1 or 2 of the things I need.

I'm very happy with my overall experience. The jarred diced roma tomatoes are one of my staple pantry items for my mostly whole food plant based eating preference. The fonio is a great new addition and a welcomed step towards the future of nutrient dense food. I would like to see more truly natural foods and less processed items but I understand thrive isn't just for me:)

Another thing to note is customer service has always been very helpful and has taken good care of me the multiple times I've had to call. It's hard to trust UPS/FedEx with a box full of glass, regardless of how well it is packed, and they are packed well.

I love the variety and prices, will tell definitely tell more people! I live in a pretty diverse city food wise I can find most ingredients. The only drawback is running all over town trying to find this and that and battle the heavy traffic of the city. So Thrive has me covered for most things I need for my pantry and home.

I enjoy shopping at Thrive market especially during the coronavirus pandemic. I am 78 years old and no longer drive so the convenience of ordering on-line and having prompt home delivery is a real godsend for me.

We have a ton of food restrictions including dairy and gluten. Things that cost a bundle at the natural foods stores are WAY more affordable on Thrive. Plus they are delivered right to our door. The $60 a year membership fee is paid for fast in the savings we receive. I think we saved almost $2000 last year. They do let you try the service for 30 days but then you are charged the fee. They are up front about that point, so you do need to be aware as to what you are signing up for. It's like the Costco of pantry stable non-GMO, organic, vegan, gluten-free, and Paleo products. I just wish they had fresh items so we could save even more.

I LOVE this company! For probably five years I've been ordering exceptional products from Thrive Market. The product quality, integrity of the companies that supply them, variety, website design and usability and... well, I just can't say enough good things about it. Almost any dietary restrictions are considered and healthy, mostly organic products are the foundation of this company. Their own Thrive brand is awesome and covers a large assortment of products. They research every item they carry and are quick to make right any issues that arise (I've had only one in all this time). Keep on keeping' on, Thrivers!
