This was my first time using Tradesy's services and Ican say that they exceeded my expectations. Buying and selling clothes has become more convenient thanks to this platform. Not only did I find quality items at affordable prices here, but I also received excellent service. The site is easy to use, the buying and selling process is smooth, and he support team is always ready to help with any questions.
I purchased a $720 item from Chic Finds and they cancelled the order, raised the price by $100 and refused to honor original featured price. Tradesy let them get away with "correcting their listing" and has done nothing - including dropping the vendor - despite many emails requesting that they do so.
Great experience with seller. Received my product in exact condition as stated. Looks great. Packaging was very secure and the best I've seen! Even received a handwritten Thank You! I definitely liked that extra touch.

Two of my transactions were great, but...
One item was listed as "new with tags," but there is a large hole in a sleeve. I didn't notice it until I put it on after the four-day return period. The seller does not know how to issue me a refund. Tradesy says I missed the window to return the item.
Another item is lost in the mail.
I'm out almost $70. If I could afford to lose that money, I would be buying NEW clothes.
You receive more consumer protection through eBay. I'll never buy anything from Tradesy again.

My very first ever order were D&G light blue Croc pumps ordered and paid for, never received. I did however receive an apology from, Tradesy that the inventory was misinterpreted and the shoes no longer available. There has been a refund to my credit card. I thank them for the prompt credit. That being said, I'd better quit while I'm ahead.

The bag outside is in fair condition. However, inside was full of some kind of mess like sawdust. It took a while to clean it out and even now it still is shedding this dusty film. I won't purchase again.

The purse has a broken zipper and some white residue in the bag that was never disclosed and when I tried to return it they send it right back to me to not order from this company try one of the other several I've used others in that great experience these guys are crooks
Tip for consumers:
Beware the items are shipped from the seller therefore it’s your word against theirs on the condition of the item. I have purchased used designer wear elsewhere and never come across this. I am out near $500 for a broken purse. It’s criminal what Tradesy is doing

I will never use it again because getting paid is also an ordeal. It takes a very long time, and they charge you additional fees upon payout. That is on top of their commission fee. No other platform does that. The seller has to rush out and pay on top of the sell to ship the item and then the buyer gets to hold on to your item and money for over a week. My item was confirmed delivered by UPS on 3/21 and still haven't received my payout. I'll stick to Mercari and Poshmark you get your money within a few days of delivery with NO cash out fee.
Tip for consumers:
Just be aware how long your money will be tied up when selling on here and the fees are way over what the other sites charge and also be aware that they also take a fee out of your money for the payout.

We had been receiving some insightful feedback about our payout timeframe this year, which is why I am happy to inform you we've actually changed our fund's release timeframe this past Spring from 21 days to 7 days! Per our new payout policy, you will be able to withdraw funds at midnight on the 7th day from delivery as long as the buyer hasn't requested a return. We know this was a longstanding issue for our sellers and we had to change. That being said, we are still constantly looking for ways to improve our user experience, I will be sure to notate your feedback for our Product Team to review.

They had a wide selection of this purse. I went with the more expensive purchase because it said there were no signs of wear. The clasp had damage, the inside is a little dirty and has an order like from smoke. Also, the leather tassel has what looks like water damage. I'm keeping the bag but wish I would have gotten what I paid for.

Over a month to have your money transferred to your bank or paypal in the top of that, they charge a wiping fee of 2.9% for those very slow transactions, who knows why? They may be gaining interest on that money on their bank account.
As you can see on the sample picture, they took over $140 and also the money was available to me over 30 days after delivered.
I can't wait to see they ended on a big demand

Please be careful selling on here. I sold a brand new Gucci belt with receipt on here over a month ago. My funds were being held for 21 days which I had no problem waiting when it was finally released I transferred it to my bank account. Which said it would take 7 business days to be released and should be released on or before Aug. 19. Its Aug 21st and I still have yet to receive my money

I purchased an expensive designer wallet over $300 and had no idea it was being shipped internationally. Also was worried that your site does not guarantee anything international. It should be more clear about where items are coming from especially if it changes the return options.

Navigating the site and checking out are both quite easy using text to speech. Only a few buttons didn't have readable labels. It would be great if the site could encourage sellers to be more descriptive of the item for those who do not see pictures well, including making sure they list measurements and don't just show them.

Sunglasses were gorgeous. My teen likes nice glasses but loses them. Instead of it being a huge problem, it's a mere annoyance when she looses a resale pair. It also makes sense with environmental issues in mind. Why buy new when there's already so many things made?

By now I've bought three high end handbags from Tradesy and each bag was perfectly described and there were no "surprises" when I received them. They handle everything seamlessly. You can absolutely trust the sellers' descriptions and receiving your item in a timely and professional manner.

It's not a good sign that you cannot even view items for sale without a constant pop-up box wanting your email address and it won't stop until you turn off block all cookies. None of the other sites I shop at do this, so red flag number one.

This is the only consignment-type site with a killer platform. It is so simple to navigate and apply lots of filters. I always end up with something beautiful that was honestly and well presented with pictures, details. The Sellers are nice and they answer your questions (from their Closets) readily. There is a flexible, congenial, fun community feeling. The clothes are first rate. You can get couture for pennies on the dollar. Free People tunics for $30 - $70. Almost any price range.
