This was my first time using Tradesy's services and Ican say that they exceeded my expectations. Buying and selling clothes has become more convenient thanks to this platform. Not only did I find quality items at affordable prices here, but I also received excellent service. The site is easy to use, the buying and selling process is smooth, and he support team is always ready to help with any questions.
I purchased a $720 item from Chic Finds and they cancelled the order, raised the price by $100 and refused to honor original featured price. Tradesy let them get away with "correcting their listing" and has done nothing - including dropping the vendor - despite many emails requesting that they do so.
10/01/2016 - Was a very small "closet" seller on Tradesy for a couple of years, and was pleased to have made a handful of sales, not as many as on another, probably due to its clientele (younger; 16-35?) These sales went well, and there were no problems with collecting my funds. I was not required to check-in very frequently; my account was linked with my email address, so I was alerted if there was any activity. My last check-in was a couple of months ago, when I updated my listings, and made my firrst purchase. I just logged in again to check my listings to discover all were gone, apparently deleted by the firm, for no reason. I wanted to contact them, but also discovered that they eliminated the choice to phone them, but replaced this option w/ a chat service. I emailed them, and wow-didn't receive an answer (previously, I had excellent communication)! So, I guess I'm a gone girl as regards to using this site as a seller OR buyer - I won't return at all... What professionalism!

Four days is ridiculous for a return policy especially if you believe that your traders can sell inauthentic items. There should be a different policy for those. Bad experience with you guys, will never buy from you again and will defer any of my friends from buying from you.

I used to be a fan of Tradesy but I will not ever sell with them again. I listed a brand new Louis Vuitton duffle bag and it sold in 2 days. The buyer was extremely happy and I even included the original receipt of purchase from the store. I had to wait well over 10 days to request to transfer the money ($1200) I made to my bank account. I waited the full 7 days for the money to post to my account and nothing came. I then called and spoke to a rep who informed me that the transfer was never processed. I must now wait an additional 2-3 days for my money to hit my bank account. I'm very disappointed with the service.

For a few weeks after attempting my 1st purchase, I was concerned about delivery eta as no info was updated/posted and response from seller was far & spaced in between which made me very uncomfortable and increased my concern. Well, Tradesy stepped in and had the transaction cancelled on my behalf so I would not be charged. Because of Tradesy’s quick actions, I was comfortable in attempting another purchase and very happy that I did!!! **I believe I was told it was possible that my initial attempted purchase may have been lost in transit**. Oh, and due to the amount of $ being spent- I really appreciate that Tradesy request for signature at delivery- this puts my mind at ease for sure!! Thanks Tradesy! I will surely be a repeat customer and refer all to your site!!!

Tradesy used to be the greatest place to buy and sell, but when the owner decided to become greedy, they became the worst! Seller fees went from 9 percent up to almost 20 percent. Then to top it, when you do sell something they keep your money for a month to fund their credit lines. The customer service department is terrible and the reps have no clue what they are doing, nor can they ever solve anything anymore. I have the right to post this review because I used to be a dedicated Tradesy customer with over 100k in transactions and had enough. Ebay May be some work, but they at least have business ethics. To the owner of the Tradesy - you might go back to renting your basement out, because you dont deserve this business. You have no idea how to treat your loyal customers and are very greedy. I will pray for you.

It honestly felt a bit odd to me that my Louis vuitton wallet came from China. Shipping took forever, package was damaged (no fault of tradesy, I know), but the fact that it came from so far I'm sure was the cause. No certificate of authenticity and there's a bad catch in the zipper that was not disclosed in the description

Out of all of the "consignment" type sites out right now, Tradesy is my personal favorite for buying and selling.
I've been selling a little less than month and have had nothing but positive, seamless transactions. I've sold over a thousand dollars worth of merchandise in 3 weeks. Payouts are always on time, buyers are fabulous. Since I haven't had a reason to contact customer service, I can't comment but I can't imagine they are anything less than great.
I haven't done alot of buying yet because of bad experiences on other sites but took the leap and just purchase a Tory bracelet. I have a good feeling and can't wait to receive.
Best part, authenticity is guaranteed.
The site is extremely user friendly and often have generous sales. I give this site an A+

I've been a Tradesy customer for years. I did stop shopping when they changed their format up and started charging shipping. My shipping was more than my purchase at times. They did make some changes and now the price you see is the price you pay. Not as awesome as it used to be FREE SHIPPING, but better enough to come back!

Purchase was easy and painless, but it took the seller 10 days to ship it. It got here on time and the watch itself looks great and looks authentic, however it showed up dead. So I will take it to my Jewelers tomorrow and have the battery changed out. If that is not the issue I will be returning it for a refund.
They were prompt and told me they would look into the issue and correct if needed.
Had the best deal on what I was in what I was looking for.
I wanted thus specific watch, but did not want to pay the retail price for a new one...

Watch arrived 2 weeks later and showed up dead and the braclet clasp was worn out to the point the watch popped open with the slightest movement of your wrist. Because of the intricate design of this high end watch, no one in town can get it open to change the battery. So I ended up having to spend $40 bucks to send it back to Movado and have them do the work. Got ahold of tradesey and they were very prompt in responding letting me know how sorry they were and they'll reimburse me whatever it costs to repair. If they indeed follow through as they say, I will be a loyal customer, just for their customer service alone... I will no longer deal with the seller Ngyen, he showed no concern for taking so long to ship, and never bothered to responded to my issues with the watch.
Had the best deal on what I was looking for.

The product I received is great but I did notice the thread is coming off on the bag (flap). Not sure how that happened since stores would not have sold it like that. Maybe that's why it was here for less. Shipping took over a week. But other than that, the vendor was communicative.

I had a terrible experience with this company. It is clearly a fraudulent service and I hope it gets shut down soon! I purchased a Skagen watch for $150 and received an empty Skagen branded box without a watch inside it. At first, the customer service people on the phone were friendly and offered to look into it, even promising a reimbursement, but when I followed up a month later, they told me the case was closed and that they would not reimburse me based on some bogus investigation process. So in the end I paid $150 for a cardboard box and they accepted no liability for it! And by making promises to investigate and reimburse me, the company bought themselves an extra month during which I was naive enough not to report this fraudulent transaction to my financial institution!

The shoes are pretty new and the price was very reasonable. The packaging on the other hand. The box looks like it feel out of the plane on the way over here. The shoes had no support paper/or grocery bags stuffing for the ride over. The right bootie took a good beating and now has creases in the leather from being smushed. I know the seller can't control the USPS, but better packaging would have prevented this.

Rapid shipping and well packed. These ankle boots are in new condition as listed. I usually wear a US size 6 and Europe size 36, but bought these in Europe size 37, as the seller suggested buying one size up for this brand. They fit perfectly. Excellent price for a beautiful pair of boots.

I will wait to see if Tradesy resolves my issue before I write my final review. If it is properly resolved by the site, they will get a decent review. I am willing for now to assume the fault lies with the seller. One asssumes the site has a responsibility to vet and stand behind, be responsible for its listings, should not be listing garbage. Reaching a human at tradesy From the east coast, difficult at best given the short window of operations. For the trouble and disgraceful quality of the purchased shoes, I am shockingly dissatisfied.

The box arrived completely soaked through. It was a bright sunny day today so not sure why or how it got wet. The dust cover got stained by the red dye of the interior box. The purse which was supposed to be new with tags has no tags attached and has a dent on the front that was not mentioned in the descriptio.

I bought these sunglasses from Farfetch and they arrived used with tags removed and nothing was wrapped. I ended up getting them for $200 less from another buyer on tradesy and it was in pristine condition. It looked the way it should've arrived from Farfetch. It came quick too which is a bonus :)

My purse was in amazing condition. Leather trim and material was not worn out on exterior or interior. Even the small stain/scuff detailed in seller's description was perfect bc it blended with the color scheme and design of purse LOL Shipping was quick with no issues.

Not a huge fan of this selling app. The payout is EXTREMELY slow! Takes almost a month from the time your items are sold to when funds are made available and to have it transferred to your bank! You would think it would be more efficient because you are charged like a 19% selling fee and 2.9% transfer fee!
Its a pain and very discouraging to sell.

E., Tradesy, The RealReal, Poshmark, (of course, eBay), etc. Just like in regular retail sales, it's hard to find true customer service anymore. This Seller was terrific! Very communicative, lightning fast speed in delivery, and an actual THANK YOU NOTE included in the box! Don't know about any of you all, but that seems to have gone a way of the past, sadly enough.
