Stolen my money
Stolen my money! Due to Coronavirus, Airline advised to cancel for refund or reschedule flight, this guy who calls himself SAM! Airline confirmed they refunded the agent but agent is lying and saying this is a promotional ticket and can't be refunded!
I'll make sure these thieves are closed down and have already filed multiple complaints against them with different bodies.
I tried to cancel my hotel booking 2 months before our trip to avoid any charges and didn't receive any confirmation, so a month before the trip i attempted to cancel again and never received confirmation. After two attempts they never got back to be to cancel so my card was charged 100% if the trip.
I drove 14 hours to my hotel destination that I booked 3weeks prior to my trip, when I arrived my room had not been booked ever! I was given the run around on the phone and never called back. Instead they emailed me regarding their horrrible mistake! Which an apology did not help me at all with finding a place to stay in MIAMI FL on a busy weekend! My money also was not refunded until several days later, which also was a bummer!

Absolutely terrible. I was trying to book a room in Las Vegas with the wheelchair accessibility. I booked it checking all the boxes and leaving comments with my requirements for wheelchair accessible room. I followed all of the prompts to make sure that my booking was wheelchair accessible only to find out that after my booking that my request for a wheelchair accessible room was only a request and not a guarantee. As a consumer I am then at the mercy of your company and the hotel to hopefully have A wheelchair room ready for me when I arrive at my hotel? How is that possibly even an option for myself the consumer to feel any confidence in hoping that when I show up my friend in a wheelchair has a room that he can get his wheelchair in? This booking system is absolutely terrible for handicapped people to book. I am very unhappy.
Easy to pay and a great deal. My first time on this site. Will use again.

There was the fact that I was not made aware of Covid test before departure.
I was not in the system for transportation from the airport too the Resort I'm out of $300.00 because of neglecting to inform me of these travel codes! I can promise you that I'll never use this company ever again nor will I offer this company to any of my friends or family to use travelup!

Covid-19 tests before departure both to and from a country is not set by the agents. This is something all passengers are advised to check before travelling as this has changed so frequently. It is your responsibility to make sure you have your correct documents, insurance and tests before travelling.

Do NOT book through this website! I booked a hotel through this site for a vacation in Key West only to be charged $218 for resort fees by the hotel at checkout. My booking and purchase through Travel Up stated that the price included all taxes, resort fees, etc. When I told the hotel I had already paid for everything in full with Travel Up, they told me that Travel Up only sent them money for the room and nothing else. The hotel also told me that they had a huge issue during 2020 with Travel Up. Travel Up was canceling their customers' reservations without notice and not issuing refunds for the cancellations.
I have been emailing and calling Travel Up for days and can't get a hold of anyone in customer service. Will NEVER book through this site ever again!
DO NOT USE TRAVEL UP! This is the worst experience i ever had for booking a hotel through TravelUp! After making the booking i received the confirmation for the hotel booking, then later i called the hotel, they couldn't see my booking, travel up told me everything is fine i just need to wait few days to reflect. A week later I received a email asking about my nationality to know then that my reservation cannot be confirmed because i am not a US or UK citizen! What a discrimination is this! There is nothing mentioned about that during the reservation! Why they took the money then! Where in the world a hotel booking on any travel site ever can be made for a specific nationality and not to another! I've never seen that anywhere in the world!

Unfortunately, this particular hotel has different rates for non US/UK citizens; it has nothing to do with TravelUp. You have booked through a US source site which is why this has not been picked up straight away. However we are glad to see that the booking has now been refunded in full.

The website was easy to use and the pricing was great. The only issue is that there wasn't much detail about the hotel we chose. For example the site didn't list check in or check out time. Upon review directly from the hotel's website, they don't list that information either! So, maybe it wasn't your issue.

I recently made a reservation with your company and to follow up I call the hotel to confirm my reservation then I was told that there is no reservation there for me. I further went on to contact your company to inquire about why the resort doesn't have my reservation only to be told by your customer service agent that I have to send an email in order to be assisted. This is by far a stressful process for me.
Very quick to take my money and initially all went well. But then they cancelled my flights and tried to change them to a different day and a different airport. I did not agree to the changes but they refused to refund me and would only offer me a voucher. Still waiting and fighting for a refund but they will not give me back my money even although the law says they must 5 months and still fighting. Please don't book with them for your sake... I don't want you to go through what I'm going through.
Leaving out the resort fee, this site is useless and made my trip worse for no reason. The dishonesty is probably indicative of the type of company and type of people in management. I will never use this again.

They are decided and govern by the local authority, and we have no control on it. The reservation was poorly handled. I was booked into a hotel with only one bed. The reservation was to be for two beds since both guests are men. TravelUp was unable to repair the problem so the reservation had to be cancelled and a new one put in place (directly with the provider at a significantly lower rate). But TravelUp still claimed their "administrative fee" of $111 even though TravelUp was the cause of the problem.

Your site is not customer friendly. I am 86, disabled, wheelchair bound, not computer savy, and there was no PERSON to help me. The reservation got all screwed up. NONE of my ADA requirements were even known or met in the reservation. Your company offered no compensation or anything to make it right. HELP!

It was a nightmare experienced booking in travel up! It was my 1st time using this company and i will never use it again not even recommend to my friends. I booked my hotel for my Kauai Hawaii trip, when we get to the hotel the receptionist told me that I don't have any reservation, I showed them my confirmation from travel up there's no record at all. I end up paying almost $700 for my 2 nights stay. The hotel personnel even helped me out to contact this company and no one was answering their phone. When i get back to California I called travel up to get my refund, it tooks a while to refund my money…

I clicked on the choice of 2 queen beds, but somehow, when I completed the purchase, I had a room with only one queen bed. I called up right away, and was told to email them. So I did. I then received an email saying that if I want 2 queen beds, I will have to pay $57 MORE! Ripoff

My confirmation email noted that I needed to print a copy of the hotel voucher. I was not able to do so. I called and spoke to one of your representatives who said that he would correct the problem and that I would be able to print within two hours. As of this morning, I still could not print he voucher. I called again, spoke to another representative who was able to immediately correct the problem.
Answer: Hopeless. They don't reply to emails. Can't get through on the phone. Useless. Better to forget about them and lose the stress. Have accepted I'll never see my money again.
