The experience fro start to finish was horrible and the place not kept up. This is the second out of three bad experiences. Why again? Had a credit and they wouldn't refund my money. Should have taken the loss

This company will rip you off, charge you exorbitant fees on top of your rental costs and not refund you a thin dime when the state is shut down for COVID-19. I will never use them again. AirBnB is way better. Plus the house rented was old and crappy and the TV and stereo didn't work. I used Vacasa several times when they were a smaller company in Oregon. Now they just suck.

Island Echos

Island Echos 6NO in Ft. Walton, FL is managed by Vacasa. We checked into a filthy condo! Nothing was clean. My pictures speak for themselves. Yes, that is a pizza box in the closet. Housekeeping is a joke. A couple was sent up to re-clean. They did nothing but sneak out the first chance they got. We went to the store and bought cleaning supplies and did it ourselves. The kicker is they put those dirty sheets you see on the bed. Those are replacement sheets! We found everything under the beds and couches, empty bottles, flyers, food, random trash. The condo itself was beautiful, but I didn't pay good money to live in other people's filth. We reached out to the local and corporate Vacasa office, we are still waiting on them to make it right. Also, guess what? Our booking of this unit has magically disappeared from the app. If you are going to delete our booking you need to be deleting the charge for this place.

This company left my family in a beach house in 40 degree weather with a breaker box over heating and sent a " maintenance man" who did nothing to fix the problem after we waited 8.5 hours for someone to fix the issue. No contact from the property manager after repeated requests for a call. This is on top of TV issues, leaking faucet issues, filthy window issues, ceiling pealing issues……. The list goes on and on. Save yourself, it is too late for me and my family's one week a year vacation.

This is the worst company to rent and trust your vacation with. We are three weeks away from our trip, and received an email yesterday stating our reservation had been canceled. When contacted, they claimed it was the owner who canceled without explanation, and they did not have any properties available for us to switch to. This is unacceptable from a company that is supposed to be one of the best in the world. Upon researching, I have found many have the same experience which is not right! Starting to believe this company may be scamming people.

We make every effort to honor every booking as anticipated, but there can be circumstances where we can no longer safely host a guest. In those instances, we provide an alternate home, work with the guest to move the dates of their stay, or provide a full refund if requested. We regret that there were no other available homes in the area at the time of your reservation and that a more efficient resolution was not able to be addressed. We hope that issuing a full refund had alleviated some of the stress and inconvenience and allowed you to find suitable accommodations. We hope to have the opportunity to host you and better showcase the exceptional vacation experiences we are known for in the future.

Scam Deleware
December 23, 2022

An employee at the Deleware Sea Colony attempted to rob my data using a third party service called hello sign. Despite attempts to resolve the issue - Vacasa was slow and unclear in their response. When I tried to cancel - they refused to take any responsibility for the actions of the employees and would not allow me to cancel.

After an almost 10 week stay at a Vacasa rental Palm Springs (Dec 21 2022 to Feb 28 2023) I received a notice from Vacasa asking me to submit review. I submitted an unfavorable review (1 star out of 5) along with a detailed explanation. Several days later the review had not appeared the Vacasa website. I called Vacasa customer support to ask why and was told that it takes 3 weeks for reviews to be screened and posted to the website. Three weeks later I noticed another person's March 2023 review had been posted for the same rental unit. A few days later, yet another March 2023 review at that rental was posted. Clearly, Vacasa was posting favorable reviews within 3 weeks of the stay. If there was a problem with my review that disqualified it, they did not tell me. I called again and was told by the customer support rep that they would look into it. At this point I can only conclude that Vacasa does not allow 1 star reviews to display on their website.

Meer minutes after we reserved a Vacasa stay (via Booking.com) our credit card number was used for online fraudulent purchases. Our credit card company flagged a suspicious transaction, canceled the card and had to issued new. But one online purchase was processed before that happened, and we have now spent 2+ months challenging the charge. Will not book with them again.

I unfortunetly had used Vacasa three times. They lie on the homes they rent, blamed me for something that we did not break and tried to collect, and overall their management is the worst. If Vacasa rents it... save your self the headache.

You canceled.on us we should not have to eat 260 insurance I ask give me credit so when we could find a house to rebook they never answered what shame save your money all I see are bad review we book last time with quest they took over form. Oh they said if I bought their insurance they would have refund why should be any different you change are plans I don't think 260 was lot if I canceled you would charge me. Also I never insurance from the person hold the keys. Not a good idea I do travel will never book this for client. I guess I should have looked at the reviews first.
