I asked specifically for my parcel to be delivered to my apartment door and NOT to be left in the open, communal lobby. In the lobby there is a large sign at the entrance that tells delivery drivers not to leave parcels in the lobby. The Yodel driver put my parcel behind the sign. Absolutely ridiculous, and this could be the third time I've had poor, poor service from Yodel. I have already written to two organisations pleading with them to stop using Yodel as their delivery firm. I would never, ever use them given the choice.
My delivery comprised 7 parcels. Yodel said it was 6. When i used chat line to find out where missing parcel was was told it was late from central Depot so missed the van leaving local Depot that day. Couldn't track as status was 'delivered'. Several more 'chats', was told it was lost, told to speak to supplier (Sat 23/12!), argued with and told it was delivered perhaps in garden or with neighbour. Eventually parcel 'found', delivery rescheduled for a date I couldnt be at property. Son took day off work to be there. No delivery, parcel too heavy! Completely useless, neither I nor supplier cn speak to a human who knows what's going on at the Depot in Selby!
On 27. 7. 19 I got an email saying they had attempted to deliver my parcel. I suspect the driver didn't even get out of bed. I was in the room next to the door. No one knocked. No card was left. Their customer service is rubbish. The email telling me the delivery drivers lies suggested I phone the driver. The driver's phone number was a string of zeros. Webchat didn't help. This driver's lie means the parcel will not arrive for at least another 48 hours. I consider the driver's actions gross misconduct and a failure of character. They should be sacked or offered no further freelancing opportunities and fined/sued for reputational damage if self-employed.
Yodel do not help when one of their delivery drivers lies about a parcel delivery. They will not answer simple questions and are not interested in their customers. Information regarding a delivery was completely untrue yet they would not investigate. However I expect it is difficult to explain how tracking information and an email stated your delivery has been left in your porch at 20.20pm on Thursday night... and you have proof it wasnt but they dont want to know or help... and sane parcel is delivered at 4pm the following day? Amazing isn't it? Would not recommend yodel ever, they are second rate and dishonest
Never used their service before, my parcel was coming. They don't give you any time slots about your delivery time. You need to wait for whole day and after all day waiting you will see online tracking that can't deliver your parcel because driver can't locate your property. Excellent and I was checking online tracking number that might be my number now but no, they don't even update you. You need to contact them. So very disappointed
I had a negative experience with Yodel delivery as the driver delivered my package to the wrong address over two months ago. Despite continuous communication with Yodel, I did not get any positive outcome. I believes that Yodel is unreliable, dishonest, and lacks transparency in their dealings with customers. My advise to people is to be careful when using Yodel as a delivery company.
I need to return parcels via Yodel. I have called their telephone number over 20 times being charged for each call - You cannot speak to a human! Their online chat does not work. I have never known anything like it. I will never use Yodel as a courier. If I see Yodel is the courier of a delivery I will definitely not order through that Company.
Today is the 5th day. I checked the track again and was told that it would arrive today but with a slight delay. It's not a problem, I'll wait, it's 12 o'clock at night and nobody called me, they didn't send us an email, they didn't text me. Do you really make fun of customers? Delivery paid on 19.05.2020 with the option Next Day Delivery... I hope to be able to receive the package and then I promise that I will avoid this company. Even after the 5th day to lie to me? Are you really kidding? It bothers me that no one told me anything, I check the track on the first day it tells me that it will be delivered, the next day the day is known when it will be delivered, I wait, the 5th day that it will be delivered until the evening but with a little delay, so that at 12 at night nothing is delivered... Disgusted... Does a lawyer read my review, really can't take any legal action?
My parcel has not been delivered to my address. I tracked my parcel(terrible delivery company). I got a picture of where driver left it,its certainly not my flat. 2 reasons one he delivered it to a ground floor apartment (I'm on a first floor flat). And the apartment he delivered to is a different style of building
Delivery driver didn't knock, didn't leave a card, didn't leave it with a neighbour and recorded it as delivered on the Yodel system. Tried calling the driver (NCH Tasif) as instructed via the yodel tracking page but was repeatedly hung up on. After texting them with the details I got the response "try number 131", I did and they had not received the parcel. I checked with all my close neighbours on both sides of the street, non had received my parcel. Tried contacting the driver again and was repeatedly hung up on, eventually they turned their phone off. I can only assume from this that the driver has either stolen the parcel or delivered it to an address that is well outside my neighbourhood.
Its bad enough when courier drivers blatantly don't care about what happens to the parcels they have been entrusted with and paid to deliver, but its even worse when they ignore attempts to rectify it and hang up on you repeatedly knowing full well they have caused financial loss.
I ordered a dslr camera 2 months ago. Yodel was supposed to deliver it.
But I have never got my parcel. Or even a card.
Yodel investigated the case. The gps details shows another address and they do not have signature. So it is no proof to the delivery.
But their website still states that the package was delivered.
The seller ignores me and paypal does not give me refund because the seller has proof of the postage. (tracking number)
So basically Yodel stole 400 pounds from me and I cannot do anything about it.
2 days delivery from delivery became 12 days. 4 Attempted Deliveries, then, at last I had confirmation of a delivery so took the whole day off only to be let down.lost £120 in a days wages waiting for this shower of $#*!...now 8:00pm and apparently still out for delivery. Use another company.
This is the absolutely worst company! The drivers lie. I got an email saying they had missed me and left a calling card in the mailbox. All lies! I was home waiting for the driver. No card in the mailbox.
I was promised they would deliver next day. Next day I get an email saying they delivered through mail slot. Total lie. The package is about 4 times the size of my mailbox so they could never have gotten it in there.
Finally they admitted to not knowing where they had delivered it.
Seller resent and replacement. Of course Yodel messed it up and claimed not to have the complete address and could not redeliver.
The Seller has now sent a second replacement, but I doubt I'll get it.
It's not the first time it happens with Yodel. I get about 50% of my deliveries from them.
Customer service is impossible to reach and chat is automated. You get the same reply from different 'people'.
I hate this company and it should be avoided at all cost.
First I am accused of signing for a parcel when I was on holiday. When I offered to prove I was away the story changed and they said the parcel was lost at the reading depot and not delivered now the driver is adamant he put it in my porch.
The sooner this outfit goes bust the better
I was away on my Easter holiday. The driver just dropped off the parcel to the front of the door. He did not use even the parcel box across there and the parcel was stolen when I came back. They did not compensate.
Complete breach of data protection. Left parcel outside unattended and called it a "safe place", of course parcels are going to get stolen, along with personal data. You will not be able to call anyone for help as the robot over the phone will just hang up on you and the online chat assistant will not help you and will tell you to call your retailer instead. Terrible service, will not ever use.
If I know a company uses Yodel to deliver I will not order from them. They seem to make a point of not delivering to the right person or leaving the item in an obviously unsafe place. Everyone I talk to also thinks they are useless.
I am utterly appaled by the service of Yodel. How can a company fake deliveries and classify them as missed delivery when they never showed up. Even when I requested they ring my mobile if they encountered diffuliculty accessing my building. It's just frustrating you have no input in what couriers a supplier might use to dispatch your purchase, but Yodel is the very worst of them all.
Tried to deliver to the wrong address (Even though my address on the package was correct). I was sat waiting for it at the front door of my flat complex after being told I was next on the app. They then refused to come back even though I told them I paid extra for quick delivery, because I'm back to work and will probably miss the package until late next week. They couldn't care less. Customer service agent kept repeating themselves and didn't actually try to help me. Even had the cheek to blame me for not being there to accept the parcel even after I told them I was waiting for it at the front door. I'll be careful where I buy things from, If I see Yodel I'll be going somewhere else. Even if it means paying more. They were that useless.
Yodel claim my parcel was delivered to a mysterious man my address. There wasn't anyone in at said delivery time! They haven't provided me with photographic evidence of my front door. Not even answering my quires now! Appalling!
Answer: If you do get through you won't get your problem solved. All you get is it has been raised with the depot, but you still don't get your parcel. Don't even bother with contacting the driver they never answer their phone and they never respond to messages.
