I've spent thousands of dollars here. Sometimes I get lucky with some pretty things, other times I get some cheaply made things. Zulily is rich with the help of suckers like me. I absolutely love the things that I can't find anywhere like certain items for my children. But the items for adults are usually blah. Cheap and thin & well ugly. They look fantastic in photos but in person, they are awful. There are items on zulily that are not original on zulily. Don't let them fool you. I google brands and prices and find them almost 20% cheaper and with coupon codes elsewhere. Make sure you always look elsewhere first. Maybe, zulily will catch the hint and place an appropriate sale price on their items if they want to claim its a real discount. What I really hate is that they are giving me less of an incentive to shop there. And, I was an ideal customer. Shops on the site everyday, spends hundreds at a time. Where's my incentive? Do I get a coupon code? Nope! Do I get free shopping for more than just 1 or 2 days? Nope! I'd like some credit for shopping so much and spending so much money! Free shipping for the remainder of the day isn't going to cut it. After all, if I just purchased some items, I'm done shopping for the day so what good is the free shipping for the remainder of the day doing?. Like I said. Google items & coupon codes before you shop on zulily because most likely you will find the same item on sale elsewhere and for a significantly cheaper price! Sorry, zulily. You need to compete with pricing now! It's one of those kinds of decades!

This summer I decided to try out Zulily and purchase myself some womens clothing and shoes. First of all the order came all seperated with the 1st one arriving more then 30 days after I ordered it and the last took 60 days. All of the clothing was made of poor quality and most of the stitching on the clothing items was not correct or sewn overtop of seams. Obviously this clothes was manufactured in China or some low cost. Production country. I did not know this prior to ordering. The clothes all varied in fit. Some did not fit at all and others were way to big. The sandals i ordered fit properly but litlerally fell apart within a month of wear these averaged at about 50 dollars a pair. I have learned my lesson and will only shop from reputable stores online. I would not reccomend Zulily for clothing or footwear.

OK... So I too do NOT enjoy anyone keeping or trying to keep money that simply put... is MINE. That said, hold ZULILY to the same high standards they expect from you! Here's how...
Does the item you received MATCH or come close, to the sizing chart you were shown at the time of your purchase? WRITE THIS DOWN WHEN YOU ORDER! If not, get a supervisor & insist on a refund! If the merch is not presented appropriately, (and 80% of the time it's not!) then you have every right for 1 of 2 things to happen... They must EXCHANGE the item for one matching the sizing posted, (not gonna happen ladies) or they may refund the purchase! No loopholes girls. If they refuse, call your bank! A GOOD bank will back you up (credit OR debit) oh, and they MUST provide you with a FREE RETURN SHIPPING LABEL! Hope this helps, then perhaps they'll finally Get The Message.

READ MY REVIEW! Only because there are things you NEED to know before shopping with ZULILY & laying out all your hard earned money.

Products used:
I usually stick with the tee shirts from Suzanne Betro. Order a size smaller, (if you're a med , go small) @ least depending on the fabric & cut. Also, these take extra time to ship, have gone way up in price, (avg. $30.00) but they're great tees. I own quite a few.

I've been buying for a few years now, I had a few issues in the beginning as the company works a bit different than most, but because I can't find more beautiful styles anywhere else I learned how to shop for my body size and learned the materials for sizing, every single day I could find something I can't live without and if you could see my 2 closets you would understand, I am a walking billboard for Zulily and have had hundreds of people ask me where I got whatever it is I'm wearing that day, right down to the shoes.

BACKSTORY:
I have been a customer of Zulily for about 4 years. This year is the first time I have had to return something to them and I'm not getting anywhere. I have contacted customer service via email and live chat. Crickets.

PROBLEM #1:
Items too a LONG time to get to me this holiday season, consequently the 30-day return policy is affected. I thought for Xmas items you had a 90 day return window.

PROBLEM #2:
Items were grossly oversized, when in the past they have been undersized. Consequently I cannot use any of the items I purchased from them - 5 items in all. VERY DISAPPOINTED>

My suggestion: Find the brand you want and buy it for Amazon. They at least take back items quickly and easily.

I ordered a piece of accent furniture from Zulily. It came totally tore up and broken up. They will not replace or refund or even give store credit for the item. I've had other issues in the past with items and they've given store credit. Even with the employees full names you can still not talk with the same person to try and rectify the issue. After the 6th call and emails I still have no resolution. Everyone says that they have communicated with the Accounting department to provide the refund because they can't figure out how to process it back to my credit card. Poor service. They ask you to rate the items but won't the ratings so others can see it. Wish I could give them a ZERO star rating. They are only one step above scam artists. I had referred 3 other people to buy from them and they are having intermittent issues with them too. I will never buy from them again. It's not worth it. Spend tons of time on the phone and emails and then getting upset with them. They are the definition of INCOMPETENCE.

Have ordered from this site several times over the past 10 years and have gotten some great things and a great price. Don't order from here if you are in a hurry... the wait time can be long but that is listed all over their information. They used to have no returns at all and now I noticed that some items are able to be returned. This is nice but their return policy is dumb.
They do not credit your card (even if it is a Zulily card!) but instead only give store credit. This should definitely be made well known as I never saw this info anywhere, even when I looked up the return policy. So I have to pay the full balance on my card even though I have the credit just sitting there on my zulily account. Just stupid and illogical. What if a person never wants to order from them again... what the heck are they going to do with that store credit. It is just as easy to credit the card and I find this policy very deceiving.
When looked to contact them, chat is unavailable, no email listed and no one answers the phone. You can get some good items through the site (especially toys, books, kids clothes) but just beware of wait time and basically expect no returns.

These sites are typically for the complainers, but I have been happily shopping at Zulily for years. I read through the policies initially and fully understood that it is wasn't instantaneous delivery. Americans have been trained to believe that they will get whatever they want in a few hours, but that increases prices. Zulily offers items at a significant savings from what you would pay anywhere else for the same item. The comments about waiting 6 weeks, however, are childish lies from petulant spoiled brats. Delivery is at a slower rate than, say Amazon, but not unreasonable for clothes and household items which are seldom an "emergency". Same deal for "Quality". The clothing, etc. is always at a lower price for the same item than elsewhere. There is a wide variety and price spread, but you are an idiot if you expect to pay $15 for a haute couture item. Up your price bracket if that is what you want.
Returns are expensive for companies, also, which is why they do not use that as a typical practice and will do credits. Again, if you want better prices and a great selection of cute and unique items, this is the way it can be done!

Tip for consumers:
Just read through the descriptions carefully, as you should do on any site. Pay attention to the sizing and you will be successful with online ordering!

Products used:
I buy clothes for myself and my grand daughter, as well as gifts and household items. I have never had to ask for a refund or credit so far, and that is for several years.

I shop at zulilys all the time and never had a bad experience... they tell you it takes along time to ship. So what if it does! They have a size chart for every item. LOOK AT IT BEFORE YOU PURCHASE. I have gotten a couple things that weren't right and I called customer service and they made it right and we're happy to do it to keep me as a customer. Some of my best and favorite clothes have come from zulilys and I think it is the best! Some people are never satisfied..

Very difficult to get status update after the return was picked up from local USPS 20 days ago. Email to customer service won't get you much help. It was not worth the trouble.

Shopped Zulily for years and consistently made purchases that were exactly as represented and were priced well. Recently something must have changed because the packing/shipping process has been bad. In October I received an item I never ordered and didn't receive an item I did order. In November I received a shipment that was so poorly packed that everything was damaged... the box was 3 times the size needed, the air bags served no purpose, an item I've never even seen on Zulily (I think it was a part for a car-it weighed about 5 lbs and rolled around in the box crushing everything) was in the box. Shopping online used to be a great experience with Zulily but the appeal is almost gone for me now. I emailed and received a very nice reply stating that my full purchase price had been credited and an additional $20 credit placed on my account. I really do appreciate that olive branch but I'd be happier if Zulily would fix the problem. Trouble is I will only know that they have fixed it by risking another order that may arrive just like these other 2.

Tip for consumers:
If you receive a shipment that's damaged or contains an item you did not purchase, contact Zulily. They are responsive and helpful.

Products used:
I was able to use 1 of 2 cartons of Hint water but the other bottles had to be thrown away along with the 40 bags of Kettle potato chips that looked as if they had been run over.

Zulily has became my daily go to if I have a few free moments. Great gift ideas, clothing for my girls that would not be affordable to me at regular retail prices and items I would have never seen in a store all in one site! New items available daily! When an item sells out, I am notified as it becomes available... best of all, BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

Ordered a dress from Zulily in November, it is now January and I am still waiting for it. Do not order from this sight unless you have months to wait for the item.

Forget about exchanging for another size. They said to donate the item and they would issue a store credit. Even Amazon has a better policy than this.

THOU SHALT NOT SHOP AT ZULILY!
I am not kidding. The pictures you see are quite glamorous but the stuff you FINALLY
(takes a very, very, very long time to get your package), is very cheaply made and a knock off. Please DO NOT buy anything fro this site because you will most definitely be disappointed- GUARANTEED.

They do not deserve a star at all. Do not buy from this site. Do so at your own risk.

I wish I could give this company no stars. Much like everyone else should have read the reviews first. Ordered two pair of sneakers on February 27,2014. Today is March 21,2014 and the items still haven't even shipped. I called disgruntled as a first time customer to cancel and all they said was ok. I asked them how does it feel to have a first time customer say how Unsatisfied they are and all they did was give me a $10 credit. KEEP IT I WON't EVER USE IT BECAUSE I WILL CANCEL MY DAILY EMAILS FROM THEM AND NEVER VIEW THEIR WEBSITE AGAIN. WARNING-STAY AWAY. I WILL STICK WITH IDEELI!

I placed an order 6 weeks ago, have received 1 of 4 items, and just received and email claiming they were unable to fill what remains in my order. The email was the WORSE sales pitch I have ever encountered, ensuring me i will receive a whole 10$ credit for the inconvenience, when regarding how they " will" reimburse my account for the amount of product they were unable to fill. I WILL NEVER UTILIZE THIS SERVICE AGAIN!
The item that had shipped was a diaper bag, which has a smell of moth balls and chemical that is so offensive, I was too embarrassed to give it as a gift as I had intended.

THIS IS A SCHEME! They hold your money for at least a month, obviously making profit off of this money on hold, only to reimburse you "EVENTUALLY." I know they express how their "ordering process" works, but credible organizations DO NOT confirm orders, to then cancel them months later.

VERY DISAPPOINTING.

The customer service is the most ridiculous
