I ordered two dresses from this company and I a made sure I got a size larger than what I usually wear, the dresses that I received were made in asian sizes meaning they were two sizes smaller and the material was cheap and you could see through it, So when I returned it I would told I could not get the money back on my debit card I could only get an in store credit. Be very careful what you ordering clothes.

Apparently there is no quality control at Zulily. Recently, I increased by orders b/c I needed fall clothing for my daughter, who just started school. Unless you purchase a nationally-recognized brand, DON'T ORDER! The sizing is weird, the clothing is made of low-quality fabric, there are tears, holes, seams coming apart, and recently, a holiday inflatable decoration lost its first blower in 7 days, 2 days later, the 2nd went out. No exchanges. If you complain you might get a refund for the defective item, but not the 2 matching tops for which you now have no matching leggings! There customer service reps seem to be trained to placate customers, but they really need to get a handle on the quality issues up front and stop shipping out damaged merchandise. I don't know if their vendors are shipping their seconds because there are no exchanges, or if Zulily's buyers are not paying attention to what they order for sale. And it has gone downhill recently. The shipping wait is completely inexcusable.

I have ordered twice from Zulily. Not at all happy, first purchase, winter boots. They were very poorly made, unwearable and NON-RETURNABLE. The second was 2 bras, again right size unwearable and NON-REFUNDABLE.

If I could give this website 0 stars I would.
My order was placed 1.5 months ago and said that it shipped a couple weeks after purchase. After a month and a half of waiting, I contacted the company. They basically said it was out of their hands that the item wasn't shipping and credited my account $10.
I get an email this week saying my order has been cancelled DUE TO BEING UNAVAILABLE. Fantastic.
I will never order from this site again, EVER. There are plenty of other places that will ship your items on time, don't falsely advertise items they don't have, and will be more attentive to customer needs. STAY AWAY NO MATTER HOW CUTE THE DRESS LOOKS, ITS NOT WORTH THE HASSLE.

Waited about 16 days to get merchandise - THIS IS INSANE - Called Customer Service they explained the site state 10-13 day. Isn't 16 longer. WILL NOT let you return items, shoes were far too large, NO RETURNS. SHOULD be a way to let everyone who views this site to stay away until you have a month to wait for purchase. CS was not really concerned about the long ship time, it was the WHATEVER attitude that erked me a tad. WILL NEVER order from them again. Others places to spend money for sure. Thanks for listening, had to get this off my chest.

Zulily itself seems okay, but their shipping partner, UPS Mail Innovations, makes ordering from them NOT WORTH the hassle. I received half of my order about 3 weeks after ordering, the rest remains undelivered despite a tracking number that indicates delivery should have been 7 days ago. There is NO WAY TO CONTACT UPS MAIL INNOVATIONS (their phone sends you immediately to voicemail, or due to "call volume", disconnects you. Period. Zulily's response is "I'm so sorry, if you don't receive items, we will refund you after 21 days have elapsed from your order." It will be a month from my order 2 days from now and I have no package and no refund. I don't know what they save on shipping, but it is simply not worth doing business with them.

This Company is a total scam. If you don't believe me, just read the number of complaints filed with Better Business Bureau as well as the other information on there. Their shipping stinks. It takes weeks or months to get items. They often leave items out of your shipment, but charge you for them anyway (sometimes by sending an empty package). Their return policy stinks. They charge you $8.95 (policy states for every five items) to return anything only after they approve the return. Many times they will not approve you to return five items at once if they happen to be large or heavy. They will only let you return what you are approved in the package, so before you know it, your return cost is astronomical. If you return something without their approval, even if it is defective, they just ignore the return & you never see it again. They will never issue you a refund, only store credit. It is a revolving door with these people. I fell into their trap, but when I get out, I am never doing business with them again. I highly recommend you don't either. Another warning, be sure to watch their billing practices closely as well.

I appreciate being told when my item will leave the warehouse and was prepared for the wait. What they did not tell me was that my items were traveling from China!
I do not order items from overseas due to all of the delays that occur with this type of transaction.
They misrepresented the shipping time by stating, on their site, that items will be delivered 3-5 days after leaving their warehouse. They have a warehouse in China so 3-5 days is incorrect! I placed my order over 2 weeks ago and still do not have tracking information!
To say I'm dissatisfied is an understatement. When I notified the company, they were not apologetic or helpful in any way.
Here is the response when I asked them why I can't track my items after 2 weeks:
"Thank you for contacting zulily. I'll be happy to help.
Upon reviewing your order, I've noticed that your tunics were shipped from our fulfillment center in China on April 2,2017, please also note that while the package is making its way to the United States itll pass through the customs facility for the regular inspections.
After this process has been completed a scheduled delivery date will be available to you, delivery can take up to 9-12 days.
Thank you for shopping with zulily. Please feel free to call us at *******615 if you have additional questions."
I will not be ordering from Zulily again!

Their items have always been good quality and exactly what I ordered. I buy things for my grandchildren, and they love it. All brand named items at cheaper prices then at stores. I pay a lump sum for shipping each year because I buy so much it's worth it to me. Each item gives a approximate ship date, and yes it takes awhile to get items but I plan on that. They also are upfront about not being able to return items, and it says so on each item. I have gotten some things the wrong size, but I got them so cheap, I just donated them, and it's been a small amount of what I ordered. These complaints I have read on here have all been from people who obviously do not read the site when purchasing items, and don't take their measurements and check the sizes listed. I realized the two times I got the wrong size, it was my error in measuring. They get things from all over the world, and sizing is different in different places, and it's important to look at the sizing listed. I hardly ever go to a store... Zulily is the best!

Plan ahead for your purchases, some things can ship quickly, some can't, and read the estimated delivery time before ordering.

I love Zulily. I've been a customer since 2013 and have purchased more items than I care to admit, but it's over a few thousand dollars worth. Sure, there are limitations such as a no return policy and a long shipping time for most items.
So, the best way to go about using the site is to only purchase items you don't need right away, and that you're pretty sure will fit you. However, the few times with which I've had issues, I was allowed to either return or given credit and told to just donate the item. They are always amazingly helpful and accommodating.
I absolutely LOVE Zulily. 98% of the items I received were perfect. I buy mostly clothes and at times, shoes/boots. Those that weren't perfect, I either altered, or gave to Goodwill. Most items have such deep discounts, it's not much of a loss if it doesn't fit. For instance, I'm currently wearing a Sophie and Freda watch that retails for $600. Google it. And it's currently available on their site. I paid $79 through Zulily. You just need to know what kinds of items you can buy without trying on. That's really it.

I purchased three items from Zulily 3rd October 2014, to shipped into Australia, knowing it be around 2 weeks delivery. Guess What!, it is now 5 weeks and ive been keeping an eye tracking where it went to, even i email to DHL company, they were very kind and told me to contact Zulily because there is no tracking number for DHL to deliver Sydney Australia.
I have emailed last night demanding full refunded and they said apparently the parcel is returned back to them, I am finding hard to believe and they said refunded within 3-5 business days.?
So DONT ORDER ANYTHING FROM ZULILY you will never get it.

Zulilly orders are always iffy because the sizing is so variable - one time large is too small, another time you could fit yourself in the item twice, so was happy that they gave fast refunds - and half the time told you to donate the item to a charity.
Last two orders had several items way off size, but asked to return one "large" that would not have fit a skinny 10 year old. Seems they now deduct 5.98 for returns.
Considering that item cost 14.98, that's ridiculous, not even offered a credit for entire amount, much less a refund.
Decided to give the item away.
Be VERY careful about ordering anything now, unless you have bought from the same category and know the sizing.
Chinese sizes are often very, very small - then, for no reason, the same size ordered is like a tent.
It's pretty much random how they size anything and, since most clothes are very cheaply made, the sizes can vary from the same category.
Also had major disappointment ordering garden items (solar items that didn't light up ever, garden chimes that were far smaller than pictured and very cheap looking, etc.) - so be careful since their RETURN policy is now much less satisfactory.

Zulily stole 2 of my refunds for items I returned and items they canceled. They now turn off my ability to enter a new bank card to pay my outstanding balance owed on one item for $7.49, so I have no way whatsoever to close my account, even though I have a $14 credit balance! They have broken the law a few times, but since they are in INDIA, I guess they can just get away with it! This was my only way to stage my protest here! This treatment is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! I've spent near $50,000 at zulily, since I've been a customer and to be treated with such criminal disrespect is ABHORRID! Hey zulily, hire employees THAT SPEAK ENGLISH!

I ordered a heather gray long sleeve t-shirt with lace sleeves. I received a ripped torn and tapped bag with a shirt that was not an xl as I ordered. This shirt would not fit my 9 year old granddaughter. The envelope had Chinese writing on it and a return address of PO Box ******* Staten Island NY *******-0490. UPS tracking #evs. I will be returning this back to ZULILY's corporate headquarters: 2200 1st Avenue South, Seattle WA ******* for a full refund!

Oh well, I used to love Zulily, but no more. They turned a really nice quality store into mostly junk. And too much of it. They used to have mostly children's clothes and some women's and most of it was top quality - really nice and genuine great deals. Now there's a glut of what clearly appears to be their own company making a bunch of stuff for women in the same fabrics over and over again. With what appears to be inflated prices crossed of so you think your getting a bargain. That's pretty obvious. And then the children's things are mostly cheaply made and the ones that aren't are much higher prices than before. There are too many different kinds of categories and when you scroll they keep changing so it's confusing. I used to love how organized and easy to use the previous layout was. The other thing is there's no point buying something like shoes or purses, because you have to pay to send them back if they even let you and it's expensive.
Bottom line - Another company that started off awesome and did a nose dive after becoming well known. Come on Zulily, bring back the old uncluttered website with more QUALITY children's clothing. If I want women's or men's clothing I'll go to Hautelook.
Their customer service people are just great, but that's the best they have going for them.

It's garbage, very very poor quality which I never saw in my whole life I ordered many items the sandals and boots smell toxic and look beyond ugly I preferences to trough it than use it or giving as gift, the jellery was horrible with very very cheap material sheetfrom china. I placed an order on September 13,2015.
The first piece of the order was delivered to my old address, so before the other pieces shipped, I made a phone call to get the new address in place.
After waiting for well over a month for these pieces to arrive, I decided to place a phone call to zulily to find out what happened to the shipment.
I have never been so frustrated by ordering online as I have been ordering through this website.
Unreliable shipping, the order I was so anxious to receive got lost in transit due to a typing error made by the person I spoke with on the phone. Tough luck for me, there are no replacement pieces to ship.
This is not the first time for such an experience through this company for me.
If you don't mind never receiving the product that you're so looking forward to getting, or how long it takes to get to your home or even if it gets to your home, then by all means, order!
The products I've purchased have been great, the prices are wonderful!
HOWEVER, I don't see myself ordering again.
It's worth it for me to order from places like amazon, just so that I KNOW I will get the products that I've ordered.

I have purchased many many items from Zulily. Their prices are usually lower than most other websites. I generally don't buy clothing on Zulily because I can't touch, feel, and try on items. However, I have purchased many home decor items. I also have purchased unique items like Phone Soap or the Spatty which I have wanted to try but couldn't find locally. I also buy kitschy little stocking stuffer items. I am very rarely disappointed. When I have had a problem (wrong items sent or item damaged), Zulily customer service has always corrected the issue. I would say the biggest limitation is the shipping cost and time. Generally items take 3-4 weeks to get shipped to me but I think that is part of the cost savings. Anyway, I end up being surprised when the item arrives because I forgot I ordereed it.
