Let me just start by saying I was VERY hesitant to order from Zulily. I found these gorgeous boots for $29.99 that just seemed too good to be true so I looked up these reviews. After reading bad reviews about slow shipping, wrong items being sent, and no returns I got scared and didn't order for a while. Then I just couldn't resist, I had to have them. Though I did call and confirm the size and shipping date right after I ordered.
The description of the boots clearly said they would not ship out for another month, I was okay with that because at least I had a set date. They actually ended up coming in only three weeks. To my surprise both pairs actually fit perfectly and the quality was great. After reading these reviews I don't know if I just got lucky but I'm really happy with the order and absolutely LOVE the boots.
One negative I can say is that after I ordered the boots the price went down $5. I didn't bother to complain though because I was just relieved to get them after all the worrying I did about what could go wrong with the order.

I have occasionally ordered clothing from Zulily for years. Despite the return/stocking fee of $8.95 being a bit ridiculous, I really never had major problems with Zulily -

I was appalled that zulily used actual angora fur and the pain and suffering that the animals have to go through is horrible once they say there using faux fur is the day i buy from them again

I like the variety of items on Zulily and they are usually less expensive than buying from other sites, that said - you have to use your best judgement when buying from them. Clothing & shoes I usually stick to brands I know, home decor has mostly been a miss for me. I bought a picture once and when I received it, it looked like it had been copied from a copy machine, I bought a mirror once which arrived broken and after contacting them they gave me store credit. I have had good luck buying perfume, hair and body products, toys and items from brands I know (Northface, UA, Keen) shipping DOES take FOREVER but I know that so I do not buy anything I would want right away.

I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ZULILY TO ANY CONSUMERS OR ARTISTS TO SELL THEIR WARES! My daughter has only received ONE INSTALLMENT from Zulily. They owe her two, but are dragging their feet on the second (and much larger) payment. She worked her fingers to the bone to get her order to them and what do they do? Not pay her what's due. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't ever use Zulily for purchasing items NOR selling your items to them! This is not a reputable company. Go to FAB!

I have ordered twice through Zulily and both times is has ended badly. Customer service people are very friendly but can not help when you have a problem with a company. I ordered from Fabkids, that was listed on their site, and ended up signed up for a membership I didn't know about and charged $29 for not ordering anything one week. I still have not received by money back and the shoes I bought were never delivered. The second order was for 2 sets of wine glasses (3/set) for my daughter's bridesmaids. I received a box with 2 glasses. When I contracted Jonathan with Zulily he said to wait until the weekend to see if the rest of my shipment arrives. He could not help with tracking since there was only one number. Called again Tuesday and was told they could not track the remaining order nor could they contact the company and see if they could send the rest of my order. If you don't get what you order, your just out of luck and they can not help you. I did receive a full refund but I am very disappointed in Zulily and don't trust the companies they represent. I guess they don't check out these companies to see if they are reputable. Buyer BEWARE!

I've placed quite a few orders on Zulily over the years, and my experience is good, as long as you do your research first.
First, unless you are ordering products marked "ready to ship", it is going to take awhile to get your stuff. They do mention that in the "about us" pages, for those who actually read that stuff.
Second, not everything is a great deal. The percent off listed on the site is off the MSRP, so you might be able to find the same or better deal elsewhere if you google the product.
Finally, stick to brands you recognize, or look the item up on Amazon and check the reviews. I've gotten name brand clothing and toys for my kids at huge discounts and been thrilled. I've skipped looking the product up and ordered some unknown brand t-shirts for myself, and they were total junk.
My summary? As long as you're willing to take five minutes and look the item up on Amazon to see what reviews it has, and what prices others are charging, you can get some really great stuff at a good price here.

1. They take too long to get the product to you.
2. You're order will dribble in one piece at a time, sometimes 6-8 weeks or longer
3. The pictures online look a lot better than what you actually receive. Generally speaking the colors are brighter online. What you get is a dull print somewhat like what was online.
4. Sizes fluctuate wildly. You might order 4 tunics, and they all fit either too tight or too large.
5. In order to return anything you have to send them an email and they ask you why. The fact is that online clothing is a hit or miss with fit. There should be a return slip in the package when the items arrive, just like all other online clothing retailers.
6. It seems like they take orders from the public, THEN they order the clothing to be constructed from China. It should be that they order a lot from China, receive it in their warehouse, THEN put it up for sale.
Folks, save your time and money. Don't buy from these people. And don't be fooled by the pretty pictures on their website.

I was a long time customer of Zuiliy until I ordered 2 Reebok shorts for my daughter. Both shorts were the same size and the measurements for the sizes were exactly the same. When my daughter tried on both shorts one pair fits her and one pair was a little small. When I requested a return shipping label on a product they MISREPRESENTED on sizing they wanted to charge me $5 restocking fee and shipping label. I let them know that they lost a customer who has spent thousands of dollars on the site because I was being nickel and dimed. I am taking my business to 6PM.COM.

After waiting 6 weeks for my order, I received two items of the 6 or 7 I ordered and they are AWFUL, poor sizing, materials are cheap and poorly made. Before I ordered I made sure to check the return policy: "If you're disappointed with your order, please contact our Customer Service team. We are never able to accept returns on intimate apparel, shapewear, swimsuits or rashguards, or any personalized items. Unfortunately we are also unable to facilitate exchanges." I didn't order intimates, swimsuits, shareware, rash guards or customized items and yet the person who got back to me said they don't typically accept returns but would make an acceptation for these items, and that they could not guarantee the same for the other items I ordered at the same time but still have not received. IRRITATING!

Worst online experience I have ever had. I didn't read reviews before buying. My mistake. I have never had service like this before. It takes weeks to get the product, but they charge your account immediately. All of the items were undersized and much lower quality than the photos revealed. Won't exchange product and charge silly fees for delivery. Their website leaves no place for returns. You have to contact customer support to 'discuss' returns. They will only give store credit minus 'delivery' fees. Ridiculous!
Just got this from Zulily:
'When your package reaches our fulfillment center, we'll apply a store credit to your account, which will reflect the price you paid for the item(s) minus any discounts used for the original purchase. Your zulily store credit can be applied during the checkout process.'
I have to pay for the shipping to return the product, on top of everything else! Why would I want a store credit when I have no intension of every ordering from this sham of a company ever again?

The items I ordered were in a Section called flea-market-to-farmhouse which made me think they were older rusted tin buckets. They advertised as rusty oval bucket and set of two rusty buckets. The small ones are painted like they are rusted and obviously look like crap and the large one is rusty by some type of chemical (?) and looks like crap. I can't believe I wasted $42.93 plus it took them forever to mail. One of these came from Kraft Klub, Inc (Made in China) and I'm sure the other was from some type of craft shop. I would have rather gone to an antique shop with my $42.93 and got real authentic rusty containers for that price. Before you shop with this company please pull up reviews and read all the negative reviews. I wish I had done that before I ordered. Somebody needs to shut this place down as they are not honest and/or be forced to return people's money when they are dissatisfied. Maybe all dissatisfied customers should write to the Attorney General's Office for fraudulent advertising and hopefully shut them down.

From Zulily is not the same as buying them from a department store. They have ignored my emails and now I will have my say. Who in this day and age does not have a return/exchange policy?
