Three weeks ago, I ordered items for my granddaughters birthday. A week ago I received notification that one item had shipped. Today I recieved notification that they were unable to fulfill my order. I called customer service and tole the items ordered were nolonger available. Yet when I looked online to reorder something to replace the leggins with, the items origionally ordered are still available. Extremely upset and for good reason.

I have been doing business with Zulily for a couple of years now. I continue to go to them because you get what you pay for and sometimes more than what you pay for. I have purchased everything from home items to clothing, jewelry and shoes. I have never returned anything. I experienced one time receiving a shoe where one shoe was a 7 and the other was an 8. I called them up, not knowing exactly how this return would go, and they promptly said they would credit my charge card for the purchase and that I did not need to mail the faulty pair back, that I could donate them or discard them, whatever I wanted to do. I was floored and relieved that I didn't have to go through the trouble and expense of mailing the "damaged" merchandise back! I know that there are several reviews that are extremely negative toward Zulily, and I understand exactly where they are coming from. I don't want to say anything negative about their experiences and opinions because I was not present throughout their situation. But I will say that when the price points are so low that it goes without saying that the merchandise will probably be equal to that low price point. Fabrics are not silk, possibly, construction is not couture, but they still, to me, have an appealing quality and the price is right. Happy shopping!

I have ordered from Zulily several times over the past 3 years. I have had several occasions where I would order something intending to give it as a gift, wait several weeks, then receive an email that the item was no longer available. Once I ordered a video camera for my daughter for Christmas and it was broken right put of the package. Zulily would not exchange ir accept the return. There was one time I ordered shoes and they were labeled incorrectly and they were about 2 sizes smaller than they should have been but Zulily would not accept a return, even though I called them immediately to explain the problem. Today I had another issue. I had ordered 2 pair of the same boots for my daughter, in european size 23 and 24. I checked out the order when it arrived to make sure it was right and the boxes correctly indicated size 23 and size 24. My daughter loves these boots and wore the size 23 boots every day. They are now worn out and she is ready for the size 24 boots, so I got them out if the box only to find a pair of the same boots in size 22! I called Zulily to explain and they were unable to exchange since it's been so long since I ordered them. They were also unwilling to refund what I paid for them. This company is completely unwilling to offer decent customer service. I do not recommend anyone order anything from them if they want to be confident they will get what they ordered or be able to get their money back!

WHEN I FIRST STARTED WITH ZULILY I LOVED IT, BUT NOW I FEEL LIKE ITS THE SAME STUFF. AND WHEN I FINALLY FIND SOMETHING I LIKE THE ITEM IS CANCELLED, THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME ON THE SAME ITEM 2 OR 3 TIMES NOW. AND I WOULD LOOK TO SEE A LITTLE BETTER QUALITY AND LESS COMING FROM CHINA.

BUT I AM GOING TO SAY THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWESOME. THEY GET BACK TO YOU VERY QUICKLY.

I ordered 2 dresses from Zulily, one was along sleeve, they send me a short sleeve dress, the other one I ordered was a Large, they sent me a small, I want to return these 2 dresses because I cant wear them, I emailed them 3 times asking how can I return them for a full return, that was a month ago and I haven't gotten any reply to any of my emails, I will never order from them again, some of their clothing looks like its been worn and re sold, no label's on them, Very bad service from Zulily.

Tip for consumers:
Be very careful ordering from Zulily .

Horrid customer service, very difficult to return items, deceptive photos.
WRONG size charts--totally off--been burned a number of times on that.
Crummy photos that when it finally arrives, you realize it's horrid fabric, horribly manufactured, worse than crappy Halloween costume fabrics. I've gotten several items that was like house paint on fabric, scratchy, and faded drastically after washing, or thin polyester pajama fleece used in something that appeared to be a flannel shirt.

Shipping charges on everything, most other websites will be free-over-$50.

Research what you are looking for on-line, and then consider IF it wouldn't just be easier to go to the local store or thrift store and try it on to verify FIT and Quality, plus it'd be FAR easier to return if it fell-apart. Plus most stores will give you cash back or credit equal to what you paid.
NOT SO with Zulily--it's very hard to return, or it gets "lost" in the warehouse and they don't credit your account. Or it's a smaller amount than what you paid. Make sure you photograph everything you send back plus keep your postal receipts so that IF necessary, you can enforce them crediting your account or refunding.

On top of that, most of the items can actually be found online CHEAPER & might be easier to return to the seller. It might be under a slight variation of the original corporate Manufacturer name, but it's the same product. But it takes time to find it.

The return process is awful. They charge both shipping and returning fees which in my case is higher than the item itself. I wish I had read reviews before ordering. #AmazonRules

Used to order clothes for my daughter most of the time. But took more than 3 weeks sometimes to recieved my order. Quality is just okay too. Not shopping there anymore.

I ordered some things for my grandson. The things looked nice but took 3 weeks to arrive. So on 3/315 I ordered about 8 items 1 was canceled 1 was being shipped to me it says. 2 are being shipped to zulilly. The rest I know nothing about. They told me they would give me a refund. It would be a credit. Why would I want credit at a place where i couldn't get the merchandise the last time I ordered. So I guess I am suppose to keep ordering until I use up my credit and find something they have and can actually deliver. Now I wonder how long this will take. These kind of web sites should be shut down. If I hadn't of ordered from them previously and relativel satisfied I would of never ordered from them again. Well they will never get another order from me or anyone I know

Hi this is Sherry-- it is now May 27,2016-- still I have not received either of the items I ordered on May 14 and 15---So I can not say what the clothes will be like but I gave Zuilil another star at least they do have "kind" customer service-- the products might be great-- My advice to someone would be order clothes for one season ahead not the current season then when you need to wear the clothes I think you will have them.

I ordered a medium tunic. I paid good money for it and when I got it, the length of it was mid calf and it was HUGE! I called and was told it was a sizing issue and not their fault. I could return it but I had to pay $5,95 for a postage ticket and a restocking fee. I will NEVER NEVER NEVER order from this company again. The DO NOT stand behind there products!

THE CLOTHING IS CHEAPLY MADE FOR THE COST YOU PAY. THE SHIRTS I ORDERED WERE SO DIVERSE WITH THE FIT. SOME TOO BIG SOME TOO SMALL AND THEN YOU CANT RETURN THIS MESS.

DO NOT ORDER IS THE BEST THING YOU CAN DO. WHAT KIND OF PLACE WONT TAKE RETURNS.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY or TIME buying from this site!
1. They LOST 2 packages of mine so far.
2. They often oversold and run out of stock AFTER you paid for your items.
3. They sent me the wrong item. I got one bra size EE instead of a box full of children's clothing and shoes.
4. Costumer service REALLY REALLY REALLY SUX!
5. The price is NOT A GREAT DEAL afterall. I found the same shirt at Target for a CHEAPER price and I don't have to pay shipping.

If you want to take a chance, you'll in for a headache. Guaranteed!

I sincerely hope this post goes viral, because I just hung up from one of the best customer service experiences of my life. I ordered a winter coat from Zulily a few weeks ago. When I received my order, I could see through the packaging that the coat material wasn't going to work well with the two breeds of dogs we have. Coarse dog hair and certain materials don't mix. I called customer service and asked how to return the unopened coat for a refund. I spoke with a sweet young man named Patrick, and he let me know he would refund my money immediately. I asked again how to send it back, and he said, "Please don't send it back. If you know someone who needs a winter coat or if you would like to donate it to a charity, that would make us very happy." I honestly thought he was kidding. It took me a moment to realize he was completely serious, and then came the tears. I just don't know other companies that do this, do you? I thought Zulily was pretty incredible before, but after today, I'm a customer for LIFE. The world needs more LOVE like that. Honest business. Honest ethics. How refreshing!

I order from Zulilly a lot and generally, I would say I am happy with the service. There has only been one instance, so far, where I was sent the wrong item. I decided to still keep it and avoid the hassle of returning it because honestly I liked it and it was similar to what I had wanted anyway. One time, I ordered a Stephen Joseph backpack for my daughter's birthday. I'm so glad I decided to order it way in advance (at least two months) because it was by far the longest order to be filled. They did send an apology that expressed a commitment to better service with my order, which I appreciated.

Aside from those two hiccups, as I stated, I am generally happy with my purchases. I like Zulily because I can get non-GMO cotton/organic clothing at a discounted price than what they sell for. Also, it has opened my eyes to companies I have never heard of and now like to keep an eye out for. When I do make purchases, I always remember to order in advance of whatever season I am wanting to order for. That way I am not disappointed by the long shipping times as they are a flash sale/warehouse site.

Tip for consumers:
Thankfully, I haven't received anything, yet, I would deem poor quality. I suppose this is because I avoid "no name brands" and make purchases on company brands I have researched in advance first. I also like to check prices in this same manner because I have found some items to not be a deal. As for the "toxic smell:, I have only received one item like that (a pair of shoes). However, not purchasing from companies that are not dedicated to OEKO-TEX/eco-friendly/etc etc standards has really avoi

Deserves NO stars! Piece of crap product! I ordered a shirt that I thought looked very nice on the website, but it arrived and it is very VERY cheap! Fabric is almost like tissue paper, which means I would have to wear another shirt under it and that would make me too hot. It said and looked like it was made from jersey (like a t-shirt) --NOT! It also arrived in a bag where it had been wadded up and wrapped around a piece of flimsy cardboard like a skein of yarn. It is so wrinkled it will never look right. It also has an odd smell. I am afraid to wash it, I am afraid it will disintegrate in my washing machine and ruin my washer! The shirt looked cute on the website but not at all cute in real life. It also has some really ugly "gold" spots on it that were not apparent in the picture. Not true to size either. I will NEVER wear this monstrosity. Waste of time and money. Shipping took F O R E V E R! It doesn't matter how inexpensive it is, it is still a waste of money. Now I know why none of my friends ever mention shopping there.

I first ordered from Zulily in January when I discovered they were selling an item I had been scouring for in local stores. The price was reasonable, and although the shipping was slow, that had been clearly stated in the product's description, and the item arrived in perfect condition, so I was pleased. I've ordered from them again several times this summer, adding to my small collection of Funko brand figures, buying a couple of cute journals for use once my current one is full, and even discovering a new favorite Enjoy Life brand snack. On only one occasion I was disappointed when two items arrived in a smaller size than I expected, although this is perhaps my fault since what arrived is what was promised in the written description and not exactly what was show in the photo, and I ordered based more on the photo. Something to be aware of is that women's clothing sizes don't always run true on Zulily. My sister alerted me to this before I began ordering because she'd purchased some clothes a few months earlier and had to send about half of them back. So I've refrained from buying outfits for myself, which is a bit sad because they have some cute things, but I don't want the hassle of having to return items that don't fit. That aside, though, I'm sure I'll be ordering from Zulily again.

When the ad came over the computer, a darling maternity top was pictured. My granddaughter thought it was really cute. I went to buy it and it was not available.

Ordered clothes for the first time and money was on hold in my account for days but never deducted. Website had no record of my order nor did customer service. A week later they held money again and FINALLY took it out even though they could never ackowledge the order in the first place. It's been over 3 weeks and still don't have my things. Customer service gives me generic responses and when calling in I was #22 on hold. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN!

I ordered 4 pairs of Crocs shoes for my kids and I, at a great price, and 3 adorable outfits for my daughter. I placed the orders with no rush March 27 and did not get charged until the order was being shipped. I got email notifications of my order and shipment. Both orders arrived together in 1 box, which was great, yesterday April 18. All items were packed properly with tags and in superb condition. One of the crocs I ordered was a size smaller. I checked my order online and saw that the size I received was the one in the order but I still called them to see if they could exchange it for the size I needed. I called today and spoke to Jenny, a customer service representative. She was warm and friendly and proceeded to check my order. She made it very easy; gave me a refund for the item, placed a new order for the correct size of the shoes and asked me to keep the pair I had and donate it to a charity or someone in need. I have never heard of any other retailer doing this, which in my opinion speaks volumes! I was hesitant ordering after reading all of the bad reviews but it seems that they have listened and attempted to correct any issues. I will order from Zulily again!

I'm a very long time customer of Zulily. I learned early on that once you place an order you shouldn't have real high expectations. I will say most of the time I have been very pleased with the merchandise I receive. And again, most of the time I am very pleased with customer service. I live in Alaska and there have been times it has taken 3 months to get an order - not nice! Alaska is part of U.S. folks! Recently I placed an order for 2 lamps along with a couple other items. When I checked out the shipping was as usual $9.95. If they won't ship to Alaska this is when they let me know. Instead when I went back a week later to check on the order it showed I had been charged almost $70.00 is shipping cost - the merchandise did not even cost that much. REALLY? Contacted customer service and received 2 separate emails that basically said - yup, that's the shipping cost! Nothing else. I feel like I have been had. WOW unbelievable! Something has happened with Zulily and it is not good. There was a time I referred people to them. Not any more! So unhappy.

Tip for consumers:
You can compare cost to other sites and sometimes it's less elsewhere. Don't expect to receive your order in less than 2 or 3 weeks minimum. And NO RETURNS! You pay for it - you are stuck with it.

I am OBSESSED with Zulily! I enjoy the daily email and browsing the items available! I can't get enough of Zulily!
I completely appreciate that Zulily offers free shipping - I seriously purchase way more when I have the free shipping bonus! Zulily is doing is RIGHT! THANK YOU Zulily!

Tip for consumers:
Stay close to Zulily, utilize the free shipping. If you are ever in doubt with an item prior to purchasing, just make sure they offer a return option, if not, don't purchase OR roll the dice and GO FOR IT!

EVERY. SINGLE. ITEM. I. PURCHASE !! We use it all!!!! I gift items too! Zulily, you are the best!!!

I ordered 4 items. I received them before I actually expected them. They were all great! Honestly totally unexpected! Good quality and the fit was great. I'm plus size and do not normally get this lucky.

Just remember going in that they are a marketplace not a warehouse. Therefore when you order you have to order by your actual measurements and the chart attached to each individual item. You may have to order a 4xl to get your normal xl. After you order it they have to order it, so it takes a lot longer to get. If you need it next week don't order from here. After you order you can check your status on the site and they show where each item is in the process. I thought that feature was great because I'm not always patient and I felt better knowing.

Also I believe I read on the site they don't really do returns except in special circumstances. So I was very careful with the measurements.

I will be ordering from them again. I say if your worried order 1 or 2 inexpensive items and try the process for yourself. 2 of the items I ordered were summer dresses at $10 each. I would have paid $35/40 in the mall.

Hopefully my next experience won't send me into a rant!

This Company like a scam Since when we can't send back a wrong or defective item.
They send me the wrong item.
Also too expensive for the quality.
