I honestly have gotten wonderful items/clothing for years thru Zulily. Occasionally items have not been what I expected but I've returned those and gotten refunds as I would anywhere else.

Very happy with majority of items and easily returned/refunded for items that did not work.

I have been with Zulily for years ever since they had premises in the UK and customer service in Ireland, (before they went over to America)...
They used to have great offers on items ranging from clothes, footwear to children's toys. Within the last 10 months I have witnessed their decline in customer services towards British residents. ( I have no idea how they treat customers from other countries) They have stopped offering us the good stuff and now only sell it to USA customers and some to Canada, Mexico, Hong Kong and Singapore). Nothing to do with items being too heavy, bulky or not satisfying British Standards. I emailed customer services to ask why we were no longer sold toys as we wanted to buy more than just books from their website and I received a rude and offensive reply back from someone who refused to put their name to the email. (Please not that this was just one member of Zulily staff who was rude)
I also noted that the only toy which they will sell in the UK cost 3 times the price which they were selling it on their American website. Even if you added 20 per cent for UK tax and shipping, prices are still inflated!... See for yourself by visiting USA website and do product availability and price comparisons with other countries taking into account their taxes.
Had shipping not been expensive (Zulily only charges £3.95) I would have gotten my family and friends in the USA to send toys to me which we can't get hold of in the UK.

After not having purchased from Zulily before I was very tempted to buy some shoes in their retro range. I was sceptical so read some reviews before purchasing. Reviews mostly seemed to mention poor quality items and slow delivery times. I decided to place my order because I was familiar with the brands I was ordering and their level of quality, and because I was prepared to wait a little longer for my shoes to arrive.
With the standard delivery (fast?) shoes arrived in less than two weeks. I ordered 3 pairs - 2 pairs of one brand, which arrived together. I was concerned that I wasn't going to receive the third pair so emailed Zulily who responded within 24 hours to say my shoes were coming separately. They arrived the day after the first parcel. The quality is as I expected, as I was familiar with the brands and was really happy with the fantastic prices and cheap delivery costs. I realised my parcels came from the US and delivery was a total of $10 - fantastic. To buy one pair of shoes directly from the US cost me a ridiculous $53 in postage.
Very happy with my Zulily purchases. After reading other review I will continue to only purchase brands I'm familiar with.

Clothes aren't worth buying and run VERY off size. So do their shoes. Save your money and time and don't buy from here. Tops came all wadded up. Took forever get order. STAY AWAY!

If you buy the wrong size you're screwed. After contact their sales representative after scouring their site for returns policies and procedures, I was told "I'm more than happy to give you more information about our return policy. While we are a final sale site and items are not eligible for returns. We want you to love everything you order on zulily. If youre not delighted with your purchase, we do expect a few returns on a case by case base. When we take a returns we will do that refund in store credit that way you have a chance to find something that you will love!"
So bad English suggests that they will not, on a case by case basis, accept that SIZE ISSUES FOR CLOTHING BOUGHT ONLINE is NOT an ACCEPTABLE reason to return or exchange items.
No wonder AMAZON is the only place online to buy clothing.

I ordered a pair of Carlos Santana peep toe boots it took almost 3 weeks to receive my package and when I did... they sent me these hideous BAMBOO sandles Nothing at all what I ordered no resemblance COMPLETELY different shoe that I wouldn't have ordered... RUN FROM THIS SITE!

OK. Maybe I got lucky, but Zulily worked beautifully for me. I ordered before reading the reviews and then held my breath until the order came. Much to my surprise, every single item came in two weeks. When I wore the first dress received, 15 co-workers complimented me and one co-worker noted the excellent quality.
Everything I got was new, individually sealed in plastic bags, and was as pictured.
My only concerns are:
1. Some of these items can be found elsewhere for similar prices. I found two of the dresses I bought and some popsicle cake pans on Amazon. All of these would've shipped free through Amazon prime, and the prices were within three dollars of the Zulily price.
2. Not being able to return items is a concern, especially since the prices are so similar to other options. If items aren't as they appear or even if they just don't meet your needs, there's not much you can do.
That said, there are quality deals on the site. $6.00 for shipping is quite reasonable considering the items are coming in two or three different boxes. As for the delay, I've had cancellations and delays on other sites. At least you know what you're getting into here.
My feeling is that if you want a variety of stuff with one shipping cost, and don't mind a long wait and possible non-receipt of items, go for Zulily. You might lose time but you won't lose money.

I have placed 9 orders in 2019, 12 in 2018, 9 in 2017. My biggest complaint is that some of the products do not match the pictures ( i. E 'Khaki Dot Raw-Hem Boatneck Top $34.99.') SO disappointed when I opened this! In the past, the return policy was much more customer friendly. Now, I am stuck with some items that aren't worth the cost of returning. For example, if I want to return just 1 item it is an $8.95 charge. I understand if more items are returned, the higher the cost. But for just 1? Then I receive Zulily Credit for the balance minus the $8.95. It is not worth the hassle and the credit is not as well. I wanted to return the Navy & Green Floral Patchwork Button-Up (order # *******316 $19.99). How about for 1 item just charge the original shipping cost? Or offer some kind of perk for being a loyal customer? Also I have noticed the wait time for delivery has been much longer than in the past. I realize it might have something to do with where the product is coming from geographically. I ask that this please be better highlighted in your item description. It's too easy to miss that short disclaimer on the page. I am not ordering any more clothing items from Zulily until hopefully things improve. I am confident that they will as I have always had great Customer Service. Thank you.

Or something very close to that. Shady at best. Definitely untrustworthy and risky imo. Of several hundred dollars worth of items i ordered, several were just not as described, or made poorly. Also they are selling items they are not a listed authorized dealer for. It appears they might be using inferior materials and fake brand packaging to make it look like the real deal. This is so common among brand name counterfeiters in china. That is where the vast majority of zulily goods seem to come from.
I decided to use only payment methods that have some form of buyer protections. Like paypal and etc. So maybe go thru them to get a real refund or good resolution. Also i will be reporting them to the real brands in order to stop them selling unauthorized, defective merchandise or fake knockoffs if indeed they are.
Some items seem to be factory seconds/ rejects at best, but nothing is said about it on the item listings. I think retailers are supposed to inform the buyers if it is factory seconds ( defective merch).
Some of this should be reported to the state attorney general's fraud or consumer protection division, the states usually have a form online to report things.

I ordered a Pin Tuck Tunic charcoal & Auqa dots. I received a charcoal tunic with NO aqua dots. I emailed customer service with a photo of what I received. The response was:
"Once we get your item back we'll issue a store credit of $34.99, the cost of your item minus the return label and the restocking fee, to your zulily account. You can expect to see this credit within 5 business days after the return has been received."
They are going to charge me for the return label and a restocking fee.
I then called customer service. I was told that they will refund me fully and will send me an email with a return label. I waited 24 hour, no label. I called again the next day. They checked my email it is correct. I tested my email by sending myself a message from another email system. It works fine. I waited another 5 hours for the email with the return label. NOTHING.
I called again, only to be told that it takes 12 - 24 hours to have it emailed to me.
Its now been three days, no return label.
I believe they keep from giving a refund by making it difficult to get a refund, so that you will eventually give up. I will be filing a claim with the Better Business next. I guess they stay in business because they advertise and get new customers to scam everyday.

Stay away. They can send you anything and not give you a refund for something you didn't order. The first photo is the tunic I received. The second photo is what I should have received.

Been a customer of Zulily now for some time. More than half the time items are delivered in damaged boxes and either missing parts or an odor that no washing machine can get out. You take your chances and hope that products are saleable. Many many many times they are not. A few times I received items sealed in plastic bags but the item inside was wet. That's scary? Recently received an ottoman in a damaged box that did not have the feet enclosed. I documented it Sent pictures but they keep sending me emails about how I probly didn't look through the box and maybe the are inside the ottoman. There were over 20 emails of them insisting feet were in the box like I am some kind of idiot. Needless to say the junk you get on zulily is just that. Better to use overstock or wayfair for home items. Rue la la for clothing maybe you pay a little more but your items most likely will arrive in perfect condition.and you won't have to worry why something in an enclosed bag is wet. Now that is scary. And YUCK. The germs mildew and diseases these products must harbor. Stay away

I have ordered a lot from this company and my first few orders were exactly as described and I was so tickled I had stumbled on this site, butttttttt the last 4 or 5 times I have ordered from them I have not been impressed AT ALL, items coming now seem to be very poor quality, shirts with appliqué started coming off literally after 1 washing, ordered some earrings, 1 of them broke AS SOON as I unpacked it, necklace looked VERY CHEAP this will be more than likely my last order with time, this truly saddens me because I Loved this site and recommend it to EVERYONE, well I'm pretty sure I'll start saying buyer beware, so sad WAS such a gd company to order from, not sure wt happened

I've seen ads from Zulily for years but never looked at the sight til this past June 20 2014. I myself was looking for new clothes to take on vacation. I ordered a cardigan & 2 tops, then a beautiful jumpsuit that I specifically wanted to wear to my grandmother's 85th birthday party. I only received the cardigan! The other orders show they came a month later july 21st & 22nd. Nothing was on my door from ups or canada post like it usually does when I order online. I give them the benefit of the doubt & wait a couple of days, go to my local post office hoping maybe they just dropped it off there without leaving the notice and still nothing. So I call Zulily, explain the situation to csr, she is very polite, shows empathy, says usually they wait 10 business days after the delivery date to do any kind of credit but in my case she decided to credit my cc cost of shipping & the items. I seen the credit on my card within 2 business days. Overall, I don't think I will order from them again. I do not want to take the chance! The bad reviews out weigh the good ones on here. Thanks but no thanks!

I feel like so many of the complaints about Zulilly are regarding shipping times. People should read the website. Zullily clearly say they ship items all at one time and not to expect them right away. Most say items ship 11- 18 days after purchase. With zulilly you NEED to read the descriptions. Its true, some of the brands are so- so. If you don't have an eye that spots quality products easily and will be upset easily, don't use this site. If you can't wait 11-18 days for a product, don't use this site. But there are great brands at discounted prices. Literally, the same brands at Nordstrom, Lord Taylor, etc. I have gambled on some products of unknown brands. Bought a coat for $15 on a brand I didn't know. Perfectly fine. The prices are so low on these lesser known or new brands that its worth the gamble. Just buy only one item a brand you don't know to cut your losses. They will give you credit. Or If it doesn't work you can donate that blouse you spent $10 versus complain. But if you like good quality product and name brands, enjoy this site.

I ordered several hundred dollars worth of clothes from SammyDress, NastyDress & Zulily. I believe they are all the same company. I read the sizing chart carefully. I am a size 12. The reviews (which I suspect they wrote themselves) states that the clothing runs large. I got size large for most (not much comes in XL) & all the XL they had for the clothes I wanted. One XL tee could be worn as a dress (or a car cover) if you were a size 22 -all the rest were barely size 4s. They are ugly - don't hang right, have exposed threads, ragged seams & are made out of flimsy nightgown material. One shirt ripped when I just put it on a hanger. The shipping costs are more than the clothes - it more than doubles your bill. And everything comes jammed in plastic envelopes (I got 7 dresses & 4 blouses crammed in one envelope that was just a tiny bit larger than my hand. Returning things is ridiculous & expensive & time-consuming. Just save your money & don't give these guys a nickel. You will never get your money's worth - even if the crap was free. I'm thoroughly disgusted with these scam artists.
