I love shopping on Zulily - maybe too much! Always a great selection and reasonable prices! A great place to buy gifts for all of the people on my list and plenty for me too!

I order lots from this company. Mainly for gifts for my granddaughter. Two items I ordered for presents were supposedly delivered to me by the great USPS on Saturday. Today (Monday) I printed out the tracking information, called the post office and told them that although it says it was delivered, it was not. After an hour, the USPS figured out, according to something in their computer, that it was delivered to a house one street over from mine. USPS suggested I go ask those people for MY package. I did and they "knew nothing about it". So I'm sure I'll see kids wearing those two outfits after Christmas on the next street over. The Post Office suggested I call Zulily and tell them that although the tracking says I got it, I did not and tell them they can call the Post Office and they will confirm that. I sent out an email explaining what happened to Zulily and within five minutes I got an email back and they gave me a full refund, with shipping, plus an additional $15 credit for future shopping and they apologized that I would not have those items for my granddaughter for Christmas. They said they set up an alert that when those items were available for sale again, I would get an alert email telling me so I could order them again. They didn't do anything wrong, the Post Office did, yet they handled it with fantastic customer service. I will continue to shop with them! Thank you Zulily!

It's always fun to shop at Zulily. With that being said you never know how and if your purchase will fit.
And it seems to take forever to receive your purchase.

BUYERS BEWARE
I will never ever order from this place again. I purchased a pet gate from them and I never received an e-mail to confirm my order or to inform me that my item was no longer available. After waiting close to three week, I finally called and found out that that I would be getting a refund because my item was no longer available.

Tip for consumers:
Do your research on this company before buying anything from them.

I ordered two shirts. They took at least 5 weeks to get to me. They looked nothing like the pictures, and they were well-worn. The sizes were way off as well.

Let me tell you something, I have placed and PAID for an order and I have also PAID delivery and shipping costs, so I am not accepting that you will wait for a bulk order of orders before shipping my order; you will post my order as I have paid all of my costs for my order- otherwise I will take this matter further- I am not accepting this reason of 'lets wait to see how many more orders we get' you have mine, I have paid for mine, and expect it delivered within the week -you expected payment at time of order placement, I expect delivery immediately of same/

Sizing is not consistent with sizing chart. Often vendors are not adhering to US standards. Zulily should be more vigilant. With the high price of postage, it is senseless to return.

I was looking through my daily email from zulily, and was interested in the hair product deals. My husband is a fan of the Paul Mitchell Tea Tree products, so I thought I would take a peek. The strike through dollar amount for a 2.5 oz Tea Tree Special Shampoo was $22.52, and the "sale" price was listed at $6.99. Folks, 2.5 oz is a TRAVEL SIZE. There is no way that the retail price of this travel size shampoo is $22.52 USD. Not to mention that you can buy this item at a particular beauty retail chain for the regular price of $6.00. Even given the "note" that "the strike-through price displayed for products on our Web site is based on the suggested retail price for the product provided to zulily by our vendor" and "the strike-through price may or may not represent the prevailing price at any particular time or in every location, and we make no promises about the reliability or accuracy of any such information", zulily is using deceptive practices in order to make customers feel as though they are getting a deal. I have unsubscribed from their emails, as I cannot bring myself to purchase from a company who so blatantly thinks their customers are stupid.

The bad reviews bother me, I love this store. Every item that has come damaged, I call, and get an instant refund, plus they give me store credit for the hassle. I've never had a bad customer care call with them.

The prices are amazing... for examples, Skecher BoBs on sale for $25.00.

The complaints about how long it takes to get items are silly. It states very clearly on the website 2 to 3 weeks to ship. They give an estimated shipping date, and the few times they have not met that date, I call, and they cancel the order, or leave it pending, and give me in store credit as well.

As for quality... I buy based on the brand, if I love the brand, I'm going to get the same clothes, regardless of the retailer... blame the brand, not the store. Some of the clothes are great, some aren't. The ones that are poor quality and damaged due to poor quality, I have gotten a refund every time.

My advice is go find out what your favorite brands are, then watch for sales on Zulily, you won't regret it!

I bought all of my kids school shoes this summer, for under $100.00, when I typically spend $300 at a box store.

Love this site!

I used to love this company but the last 2 experiances I have had turned me off to them. I was sent an eamil that they could not deliver the shoes I ordered so they sent me a $10 credit. Reluctantly I used the credit only to be emailed AGAIN that they cancelled THIS ORDER becuase it could not be delivered. I will not waste my time again trying to use their $10 credit. They should be more concerned about not being able to fulfil orders.

I AM REALLY UPSET TO SEE ALL THE BAD REVIEWS, AS I LOVE THIS COMPANY AND AM VERY ADDITTED. I DO WAIT AWHILE ON MY PURCHASES BUT THATS TO BE EXPECTED AS THEY CLEARLY STATE IT HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE. I ALWAYS ORDER MY SHOES SIZE 8, AND HAVE ALWAYS GOTTEN MY SIZE 8, I JUST LOVE THEM AND SO GLAD I STUMBLED ACROSS THEM. THEY HAVE SOME NICE STUFF AND EVERYONE IS SO IMPRESSED WITH MY PURCHASES. I AM KNOWN AS THE ZULILY QUEEN. :)

I have always had good luck with Zulily (minus a couple off-sized shoes). However, I will never purchase from them again based on my most recent experience. I received a Facebook message early on a Sunday morning confirming an order - which I did not place. The order was for a gift card. Whoever hacked my account, used PayPal as a payment method. I contacted Zulily immediately, who told me they would look into a refund and to contact my bank only, and not PayPal. After not hearing from them by Wednesday, I had to call them back. They told me that because the payment had gone through, I had to now contact PayPal. PayPal however, directed me back to Zulily. When I called Zulily back on Thursday, they told me there was nothing else they would do. They did not seem to care about the unauthorized purchase and went so far to tell me that the reason this happened is due to me leaving my phone (which has a passcode) or my computer (which does not leave my house) unattended. Why they couldn't just cancel the gift card when I called they first time is beyond me. So now I am out the money due to an account hack and Zulily does not care. I will no longer support a company who treats customers like this.

I love Julie I have been AQVC shopper for years of them happy with the way they do business said if I have returns because I do everything on line so obviously everything can't be kept but zulalie is such a wonderful alternative and the prices are better

Some days great product at great prices but do price research before ordering. Shipping is horrid! Shouldn't wait for over a month for a seasonal item. Site needs more free shipping deals

At this writing, I have yet to even have my stuff arrive to THEM, and my order was placed 13 days ago. I just checked my order and it isn't due to arrive to them for possibly another 5+ days.
It seems items generally ship within 12-16 days after your order is placed (which is after the 3 days the items are up for sale) from the seller. Each item sold on Zulily is there for 3 days, after that time the orders are sent to the seller and they have up to 16 days to ship them out to Zulily! Then figure an additional amount of time from that point before they arrive to Zulily.
Then they will go through it and maybe get it out in the mail to me a few days after that.
So basically, a month will go by from the time you place your order to the time you get it.
If you are shopping for something and want to use it/wear it right away, this isn't the place to shop!
Granted, they take your money right away! And don't even send you an email conformation that they received your order. Supposedly, they will send you notification once it is actually shipped out to you - will wait to see if that happens or not.
I a just hoping that I don't have to have either item (or both) returned because they don't fit - GOD only knows what hoops and time you will have t jump thru to get that accomplished. Needless to say, even if the stuff fits, I will not be shopping with this site again. The money I am saving isn't worth the time lost waiting to get it.

I have ordered several times from zulily. But it was important going in to know what to expect. I knew someone else who ordered there a lot and was told they take forever shipping. Its because they are just the middle man. They host different shops and submit orders and have to wait for those orders to arrive at their warehouse and then repackage to send out. It takes at least 3 weeks to get an order. Ive read a lot of negative reviews but mine is good. Im very particular what shop i buy from so as far as quality goes, i have received nicer things from zulily then going to the mall and paying a fortune. Excellent quality. They have always been lightening fast to respond to emails. They have been kind. They have given prompt refunds and been understanding when i wanted to cancel an item. Its the only place i shop now. Im totally addicted and i have never been disappointed. They are fantastic and trustworthy. But you have to understand two things... first shipping takes a loooooooooooong time, and second you cant return anything so be sure to use their size charts. Other than those, they are awesome and i buy literally everything there now!

4/28/14 - UPDATE: Zulily Customer Service is excellent. One of the many items I ordered was used. The shoes had been worn before they were sold to me. I emailed Zulily asking for, but not expecting, a refund. Was I surprised when not only did they immediately refund the shoes AND the shipping, but they also told me to just keep the shoes and put $10 into my Zulily account! I am raising their rating from one star to four because of this. If you understand the lead times and that the items, unless damaged, are not returnable, shopping at Zulily isn't bad. While I still think they should revise their program to have their merchants drop ship and be able to do exchanges, I was more than satisfied with the service I received when there was a problem.

The wait time is RIDICULOUS. I own a website and drop ship every day. Unlike Zulily, instead of wasting time and money shipping the items to me first, and then to my customer, I have the manufacturers ship directly to my customer. This saves money and WEEKS of time. ADDITIONALLY - selling clothing without any sort of return/exchange policy is ridiculous. I've purchased 10 things in the last 2 months. Of the four that actually arrived, two of the items were nowhere near the size stated on the zulily website. I'm off to ebay to try to recover some of the $ i spent. While it's addicting to shop with zulily and find such great deals, the hit or miss is mostly miss and i will not be shopping with zulily again.

Wanted some nice decently priced clothes for upcoming vaca. I usually buy from H&M because you can always return to the store. Decided to give Zulily a try what a mistake. I ordered 3 items a pair of rain boots that are to big a knit poncho that I had to sew and a dress. I decided to keep the boots and poncho but return the dress.The dress is from designer Suzanne Betro with a list price of $106.00. I paid $16.79. I have sheets made out of better material than the dress. When I contacted Zulily I was told my refund would be $2.00 because of $5.95 return shipping a $2.50 restocking fee and they themselves don't actually have the dress in stock so that was all they could offer me. Needless to say I got angry contacted customer service both by email and the phone. They were incredibly rude when they told me I was lucky they were offering me this refund. I then informed them the website states that item is eligible for returns which would lead customers to believe the refund I'd based on what you paid not what they think you should get. Needless to say I will be sticking with H&M and never again buying from Zulily.

Lots to choose from and products I haven't seen before. Clothing sizes are hard to gauge sometimes and return shipping is cost prohibitive. Shipping is so slow!

$8.95 initial shipping, another $8.95 to return two non fitting items, and another $8.95 if I use the non refundable credit: a total of $27 shipping. Cant buy anything with their $5 credit!

Zulily has the best customer service. I rarely have a problem but when I do they are quick to help. It's one of the few places who places a priority on the customer.
