I see so many bad reviews; mainly on shipping, customer service, etc. Honestly I've had a great experience with them overall. In several orders, only one shirt didn't perfectly fit. It was slightly big and I gave it as a gift to my mother who loved it. I always think the quality of the material is fine, and have had many wears on most of the items including after washing. A few of the tunics were a little thin (wear a coat!), but have held up 100% to wear and tear just fine. Perfect for the money.
As for shipping and the possibly long waiting periods... people need to understand how the site works. They advertise items from different brands, and when someone makes the order, they send it over to that brand, who THEN ships it to Zulily, THEN to you. This can take some time and not completely in Zulily's control. If you only scroll down the page some, and read the full description, it clearly marks the time period it'll ship out. If you're okay with it, go for it! If not, simply don't buy it. I've had tracking on all my items, which was accurate.
Now, I have had a few instances where Zulily didn't quite deliver per say. Once, I recieved the wrong pair of leggings. I called customer service, and without any arguing or prompting, the lady immediately refunded my money in full, set up sending me the correct pair, told me to keep the ones I got, AND gave me a $15 credit amount. Never seen that before! Also, there was an item that was promised to ship on or before Christmas, and later it got changed to arriving late. I called Zulily, who refunded my money in full, and told me to keep the item when I got it. So whilst I normally would rate them lower b/c of these instances, their customer service more than made up for it.

Somehow, I missed all the negative reviews about Zulily - they must do a good job of squashing those. For those of you who understand what it is like to be pregnant, you know that having clothing within a certain time frame makes a difference, because your body can change week to week, making last month's attire irrelevant. I made the brutal mistake of ordering a belly band and a dress from Zulily and was surprised by the fairly high shipping fee - I could have ordered very similarly priced items from other sites, but I was duped by the positive reviews and went ahead. After a few weeks, I still had not received any of my items. Upon further investigation, I realized that they do not have the products they sell you available to them immediately - you have to wait for these products to mysteriously appear until they can even begin to ship them to you! It took a month to receive my belly band - a month - and still, no dress. Yesterday, I received an email (1.5 months after the original order) telling me that the dress may never arrive - it had not appeared for shipment so if it continued to be lost in the stratosphere, they would generously refund the cost of the dress. Wow, thank you for paying me back for a product I never received and wasn't even aware I would never receive until 1.5 months later. I was even more shocked by the fact that they didn't even offer to refund the shipping fee for the product that was NEVER SHIPPED. Why would you charge customers a shipping fee at all if you can't even guarantee they will ever get their products? Seems like a pretty nifty scam to me, unless you are the expectant mother excited to have clothes to accommodate her changing body and having to wait on a disorganized, self-serving company looking to prey on you. Stay away - I know I will. These guys should not be in business.

My first order took a month to receive and I was disappointed in the quality but thought it was just a fluke and ordered again. Wrong! I have received 3 of the 6 items I ordered in mid October and every item has been just plain crappy! The stuffed rocking chair horse was super cheap looking and the sound did not work, the outfit I ordered for a very skinny 7 year old girl came with a skirt that was too tight even on my 1 year old toddler and a top that was too big on the 7 year old. And, Zulily had advised me that there had been a fabric change on the skirt from a chennile to flannel--I wish I had canceled then because the flannel is thin and cheap and looks like left-over night gown fabric from a dollar store. The third item was from the manufacturer Nanette--I used to be a department store girl's buyer and am very familiar with the brand and this dress DOES NOT LOOK LIKE NANETTE despite the label--it has to be a second or special make. So disappointed--the web site pictures look so good but obviously the the quality is lacking. I am deleting their daily emails and advising friends not to make purchases from Zulily.

I ordered a Connect tile set on Nov 28th figuring it would have a few weeks before xmas to get to me. They charged my cc on dec 3rd but then sent me an email on Dec 14th saying it was delayed and won't get to me by xmas. I kept the order because I figured i could use it for his birthday in Jan. I sent an email jan 3rd asking if they knew WHEN it would come. I got a response that they didn't know. I just called today (jan 4) to get a live person to tell me if they would know when i would get my item. She said it was on delay and prob wouldn't reach me by my son's bday (jan 12) but would refund my money. I was pissed because of their lack of communication AND follow through AND that I paid interest on my Credit Card for the $180 for a month for an item i never received or was ever GOING to receive. I will NEVER EVER order from them again. If they can't use reliable vendors then they should look into someone else providing them the items. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!

I have been shopping with Zulily for over a year, and for the most part, have had very good experiences with it. I mainly use the site to buy lingerie, as I am very busty, but very slim, and the same brands that I am able to buy from Zulily for under $30 sometimes cost $70 on sites like Figleaves and Bare Necessities. Zulily has been a life saver for me in this regard.
Some advice for a better experience:
1. Check the size charts. Zulily's products come from a range of companies, so do not expect to choose a blanket size and have it fit. Some products are in UK and EU sizing, and will not fit the same way US clothing does.
2. Buy name brand. Zulily runs a lot of events from major retailers, and for the most part, the quality is reliable. If you haven't heard of the brand, reconsider purchasing the item.
3. Do your research! If you're not sure about a product, look for reviews of it elsewhere online. I know this seems like extra work, but it has saved me from a few low-quality purchases. If you can't find a review, skip it if you don't feel like taking a chance.
4. Caps lock time, people: SHIPPING IS NOT INSTANT. Events last at least a few days, and products aren't shipped until after they're done. There is also processing time to consider. So don't freak out if you order something and it doesn't turn up in the standard shipping time. It won't. If you need something straight away, buy from another website and cut your losses. This will save you a lot of undue stress.
5. If you change your mind about a product, email them ASAP. I have done this a few times, and the order was cancelled and refunded pretty quickly.
Like any place where you're buying items from multiple companies, you will get some products that you'll love, and some that won't work out. Do your research, and shop intelligently. As far as value for money and selection goes, Zulily really is a comprehensive site. Good luck!

UPDATE 6/11/2018: I believe the ethical thing to do is update this review. Although I went through a lot with Zulily, I was diligent in giving them a chance to see it my way, however it don't change who they allow to offer the merchandise. Zulily do business internationally & domestic and I notice a lot of stuff do come from China. Their clothing sizes fluctuate, but they do ask us to review stuff we buy, (I do review there as well) and they refund monetarily in some cases if not money in store credits. If the issue is pretty bad, they'll refund. When I wrote the first review, they were giving me a hard time, but I wouldn't back down. Since May of 2016, I have bought some nice things from Zulily, but I really think hard about what I buy, and by now I know my measurements. But as I said earlier, they will take stuff back, but sometimes you may have to pay shipping depending on the circumstances. I feel like when doing a review on a company, write it as if you was looking for truthful advice. I hope Zulily would take us seriously when we post on a site like Site Jabber. (below 2016)
[2016]They put up a nice front in the beginning, being very apologetic when they sent trash from some vendors, even issuing some refunds. They will play games with your bank account. If you ever order from them, don't order too much, wait until all items are in your home and you agree with what you've ordered. They use tactics to try to get your money and some of their vendors don't have a clue about sizing. Shoes are relatively safe but beware of the boots. Good spending customers they try to trick them. Site is frequented by women, and they will eventually try you. (5/10/16)

UPDATE 6/2018: Use PayPal That way, no confusion with your bank if you use debit. If the merchandise don't ship right away, and it won't most of the time, the funds will go back in your account, that can cause bank returns The latter, it will debit right then & there

While I love the selection from Zulily, shipping is the worst part of ordering. Sometimes I can find the items on other sites for close to the same price with two-day or within a week on shipping. So many of the items I order on Zulily take a month to ship. If it's something I don't need right away, I don't mind the wait but most of the time I end up forgetting I've ordered the item. Prices have changed quite a bit over the years. I love that if I order an item on Friday, I have free shipping until midnight on Sunday. Shipping prices are a little insane. Especially since they package so many orders together. You also have to check on some items, because they might be shipping International and will take quite a while to get delivered. I've had about five items get canceled over the last three months because Zulily didn't get the items in time to ship. This has been really frustrating because they were items I really wanted. I've ordered kitchen, home decor, garden decor, outdoor furniture, garden plants (all arrived dead), clothing, shoes, food, children's toys, pet toys, pet costumes, pet clothing, dog beds, car accessories, and have been really pleased with the majority of items. I will say that I love that Zulily carries brands I know and trust at great prices. I've also found a few new brands that I really like too. Customer service has always been great to help me with issues. I've had one representative that didn't seem to be very knowledgeable but overall, it's been good experiences. I've seen them have "smart pay" where you can break the payments up over two - three months. I'm sure this is coming from their parent company, QVC. In the end, I check out Zulily a few times a week and typically order a few times a month. Just make sure when looking at the item to also look at shipping times. I'm usually not frustrated if I remember to look there before purchasing.

I have placed many orders with Zulilly. At one point I changed the credit card number and on the next order I forgot to change the card number. I immediatly went back in to change the number. When the first part of the order was shipped it was charged to the original card so I call to make sure the remainder of the order would be credited to the second card. It was never done. When I called to complain they told me thay could not credit one card and debit the second. I have been in business for 40 years and I do this all the time for my customers. I wrote a letter, personal hand written, to the CEO of the company and heard nothing back. The customer service for this company is the worst. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WIH THESE PEOPLE AGAIN!

If I could, I would give this site a 3.5-star rating, but seeing as they're not 4-star quality, I will settle for 3-stars.
The offered information on the shipping when you're placing an order is misleading, seeing as they don't ship until 10-14 business days AFTER your order is placed. The package tracker didn't really help at all.
I actually got an email from the website telling me to redo my payment information. When I called, even though it took a bit for a customer service rep to answer, the customer rep was VERY nice, polite, and helpful and assured me that my payment was accepted and my orders processed, so I would give them 5 stars for their customer service!
I do like the quality of the garments, mostly; some things are on the translucent side, and I'm not a big fan of sheer clothing. The shoes were my favorite part and I'm still on cloud nine from them - I have trouble finding shoes in my size (10-11 in womens) and these 10's fit perfectly.
I will say that the fit of some of garments don't match the size charts even within the same company sale; I bought the same three sizes from the same company, and one was a tight fit, the second was a bit on the loose side, and the third is way too loose in the chest and I have a rather large chest.
My final note is on the pictures and descriptions: they do not accurately depict the clothing and shoes you order. Because there is only one side shown, you can't really tell what the back of your garments will look like; for me, this aspect was a pleasant surprise because the entire back of my pullover was lace and it looks awesome. Some of the colors, too, are misleading. I bought a bra that was described as "azure" and the photo showed it being a light turquoise, almost a cyan color; the actual bra has a yellow cup with a blue lace overlay, making it more blue-green-yellow than I initially anticipated. The fit of it was pretty good, especially since I was staking a stab at which size would fit best based on the measurements, but still a bit tight.
Overall, my experience with zulily was okay. I would shop with them again, sure, but I'm not sure if I would buy clothing other than shoes and tights/leggings simply because of the sizing issues.

Yeah, I (just like you reading this review) should have read the reviews before buying and wondering if you will get your stuff before the season ends (to be optimistic). Here's what they do. When you select something that says "in stock", well, it isn't necessarily. The way they do to have those amazing prices is sometimes to get orders first then they get the product. It's like this, a company will offer them a good deal if they order a certain amount. So they will order from the company once they met their quota for price (and that is another reason why brands and offers are there for limited time). Well, supposing they achieved the quota for pricing from the manufacturer THEN now it is the time to achieve the quota for shipping. That's right. You select standard shipping, and you are thinking it will take a week at least. Well, that depends on how many shipments they have for your area. Because they have to save on shipment too to guarantee those bargains, right? So, they will only ship your stuff once they have enough orders from the same area. I have purchased a couple of times, but second time I was aware it would take at least a month to get anything (still waiting). The good thing is that they usually have good brands that I do not find in stores where I live. But if you live in the Bay Area, or East Coast, just check the boutiques close to you. All the cool brands are sold in cool places... that does not include the arid Central Valley of California... Anyway, the bottom line is only order if you do not expect to get it for the same season. Seriously, your baby will outgrow a size before you get your order in. If in a hurry, you will be better off doing some bargain hunting at outlets and clearance racks. Oh, last, but not least, your bargain might end up being very expensive if you cannot return, which you cannot. So, do not buy anything you are thinking of trying on to see how it fits...

Terrible, terrible, terrible! I always get emails from the company, and I always delete them. A banner came across on fb and it said, $7.99 for little girl moccassins so I decided to check it out. The picture was so adorable I ordered my daughter two pairs. I also saw a pre school rocks dress that was adorable as well. My daughter wears a toddler size 9 in shoes, so of course that's what I ordered. The moccassins came in the mail and were huge. They were so big that my son who wears a toddler 11 1/2 could fit them. No sense in sending them back so I told my daughter she could use them for slippers. The dress however, has still yet to come in. It has been over a month, and the website still says in transit to zulily. I ordered it for her to wear the first day of school which is Wed., and the customer service rep said it wouldn't be in so I canceled. I had no idea they wait to order from a company. THEY DO NOT HAVE THE MERCHANDISE ON HAND... JUST A WARNING! They post it on their website, wait for everyone to order, place the order, wait for it to come to their facility and then ship. Horrible way of doing business!

I wanted to try Zulily and so I purchased 9 jackets and 1 skirt. They notified me that it would be almost 3 weeks before my merchandise was delivered. Every single jacket I ordered was 2 sizes too small. I order on line a lot and I never have an issue with sizing. This was an absolute nightmare as I ordered those jackets for job interviews. So I contacted their CS and they sent me very detailed return instructions, via e-mail, including the recommendation to get a tracking# and insurance. I still have all 6 pages of instructions and had to include a copy in the package I sent them at a cost of $27.96 (2-Day Priority w/tracking and insurance).
Zulily never told me to donate a thing. They refused to refund me and only offered me an in store credit/ account credit. So let's see, I had to spend money on the clothing, the ship to me was $7.95. Then the shipping back cost me $27.95 and they did not credit me for any of that. I cannot depend on their sizing.
Overall, I would say this was a really bad shopping experience. I mean they may be okay for household items but they really suck at the clothing end. No way on earth were these jackets even close to the usual size I wear. Plus, I had to order a couple of suits, jackets, slacks from a place where I know the sizes fit me and I had to have them over-nighted since I had flights scheduled and companies were flying me in for various interviews.
I did not save a dime. In fact this cost me a significant amount of additional cash. I will not be ordering from them again. Even an overstock warehouse distributor, that puts up an on-line shopping site for consumers, has an obligation to treat those consumers/customers fairly.
Zulily ranks in at the 0 and ranks in as #1 do not buy from store.
