While Zulily is great for quality children's clothing/shoes and handbags, it is terrible for adult clothing. I was embarrassed to find things I bought for Christmas and had sent directly to gift recipients were all low quality beginning with use of cheap fabric from China and poor construction/sewing. Fabric was 95% polyester/5% Spandex. They were sold under the labels of Reborn and Lbisse and many others. The same companies sell under different labels on Amazon. If it looks like a deal and is from China, it probably isn't. There is no way I would wear this stuff. When I go to department stores I always choose by style, color, quality of fabric, quality of construction. Sometimes I buy 95% polyester/5% synthetic but it is a heavier weave - you can't see through it, the clothing hangs better, has a better "hand" (feel) and drapes beautifully. Not like the fabric sold to me on Zulily.

The problem with all these clothing manufacturers in China is they cut every possible corner in all areas except for style and color. They can make clothing look good so that it sells but things fall apart quickly after laundering. While China produces fabric for top design and fashion houses, the fabric they use in cheaper products is poor quality. Often it is transparent, so thin it does not keep its shape after wearing, sitting and moving around, laundering or dry cleaning. China takes advantage of unsuspecting American customers with alluring low prices and Zulily helps perpetuate this fakery.

If there was a way to demonstrate the shortcomings via a photo I would be happy to post several but you can't see the movement of the fabric or the light showing through that screams CHEAP FABRIC HERE. Construction is usually sufficient until you launder the thing then you find strings of hemming coming undone, mismatched seams. My advice is if you care and want to make an investment in the quality of your clothing buy elsewhere or even go to the second hand stores and you will sometimes find better quality there. No more buying online unless I can return for free for a full refund, not a store credit.

I was skeptical about Zulily, and signed up over a year ago but never used it. After having wonderful experiences shopping online with OTHER places, I decided to give them a try because they had such cute items and decent prices for a poor mother and wife like me. I enjoy getting things for my baby girl, like I never really had, and with college graduation half a year away, I figured I'd just keep pampering her and she'd never even know what condition we were in before. Well... this was not pampering. I saw the delivery time. That wasn't really an issue. They delivered the items when they said they would (2 weeks from May 3th, today I got the items). My problem is what I got. I paid 70 dollars for all this. Shoes were adorable... handkerchief top was adorable, but the shoes are slightly too big and shorts were ABSOLUTELY too small! I have a very tiny 16 month old. She is wearing 12 month old clothing. The shorts were so tight on her that it looked like her legs would cease to have good circulation any second. They might fit a 3 month old, but not a 12 month old. ALSO, they charged my account 2 WEEKS later! I was explained to by a customer service rep that they put a hold on the account first, then charge when it actually ships. No where on their website does it say this for your own forewarning. Had I known about it, MAYBE I wouldn't have gone out and bought groceries, or helped my sister with her high school graduation :). Oh wait, maybe I actually wouldn't have ordered! Yeah, that's it! Now my account is over drafted, because they are charging me the second time around, not the first. I thought it had already cleared. Don't think I'll be doing this again. I'll stick to mainstream clothing stores online... whose products I trust.

Purchased three items on July 7th, and today, July 30th, still have not received them! When they say order processed in 7-14 business days, make sure you focus on the words "processed" and "business days"! I have e-mailed the company twice, and in both replies from them, they simply explain how their business works which basically is "we'll mail you your order when we get it from the vendor and then after we spend a week or two, after receiving it, getting it mailed out to you". My order started as a UPS delivery and ended up as a postal delivery - although since I haven't received it yet, I am not sure how it actually will arrive. On top of all of this and the fact that they took my money when weeks ago, the items I ordered are not returnable! This is my second experience with Zulily and most likely my last. They claim to be unique and to offer such fabulous deals which translates into, I think, "we are worth the time and trouble". No, they actually aren't! DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT TO RECEIVE IT IN LESS THAN THREE WEEKS (i. E., 15 BUSINESS DAYS!).

I ORDERED SEVERAL DRESSES COATS AND SHIRTS FROM ZULLILY AND ALL OF THEM IS A PIECE OF CRAP... RETURN POLICY A JOKE CHINA PHONE NUMBER... THE WHOLE OUTFIT IS A HUGE RIP OFF.

I never even had a chance to order! I was so excited to find some bare root roses that were on sale on their site. I'd never ordered from them before but being an avid online shopper I called to confirm that they had them and how to do the process and was told by the most lovely representative that I should probably wait to tomorrow, which was Friday) because I would have better shipping opportunities. The next morning, less than 16 hours later, I went to place my order and it gone. Not only was it not available, but I couldn't even find it anywhere on the Internet. Apparently this company has products that literally sell out ALL THE TIME! So basically I'm SO! I spoke to three representatives (one was a supervisor who broufht nothing to the table) and the actual company who sells the product. Nobody could do anything so I'm screwed. The supervisor basically song and danced me to "so sorry you had that experience". RIGHT... VERY USEFUL... It was such a waste of time and effort. Had I not listened to the advice of a person who works for them, who should seriously know how this company works I would be a happy camper tight now and be a regular repeat customer.
I am so PISSED OFF that I am now on a personal mission to spread the word.
So aside from the fact that I won't ever order form the company (obviously) I am telling everyone I know to avoid them like the plague!
I know that this is small potatoes and the world has many far worse problems but that doesn't excuse the fact that with times being so difficult these days, buying a beautiful rose bush would have brightened my life for a nice chang. It'a the little things, right? As a side note, if anyone saw the movie PRETTY WOMAN, when Julia Robert's character goes back to the store that treated her poorly and then goes on to spend thousands of $$ elsewhere, I will share her response to express my feelings to this putrid company by quoting her famous line "big mistake. Big... huge... I have to go shopping now."

Tip for consumers:
DON'T SHOP WITH ZULILY!!!

I gave up because they are not in season so anything I can find is very expensive. More than 3x the price.

I mailed my purchases back on the 8th of this month and still No refund! I'm beginning to think they try to delay the refund.

You have thirty days to return but it takes them 30 days to acknowledge receipt of the order

I have been a Zulily customer for approximately 2 years. Let me be perfectly blunt here... the clothes suck! The vast majority of the clothing is shoddy, inappropriately sized, cheaply made and/or see through. I quit buying clothes from this site for awhile then i got suckered in again by the wonderful pictures on the website. I thought well I am sure they have improved and I ordered clothes again which was a HUGE mistake! Same song, different day! It is quite ironic that I started reading all the bad reviews today. Then the mailman appears with a Zulily box just for me. It contained 3 tops which of course look nothing like their photo and a pair of shoes that comes nowhere close to fitting! Here again I am left holding the bag... or box! I had to have a garage sale a few weeks ago to get rid of all the things that didn't fit or I would have been arrested for wearing out on the street because they were see through and flimsy. I had one lady at the garage sale say "I always wanted to buy from Zulily and ended up buying 1/3 of all the clothes. I didn't feel bad by selling her the clothes because at least she was lucky enough to see what she was buying before being ripped off. I was lucky to make 1/8 back on what I sold if that much. This is the second pair of shoes that I ordered that don't come close to fitting. They must have camera persons taking the pictures that also moonlight as magicians because they always look better on the site then they do in person. This delivery today was the straw that broke the camel's back! Everything I ordered is here. I am done with this company. I have enough merchandise here that I could open my own consignment shop! The only reason that I even gave them 2 stars is because of all the kitchen items and jewelry that I bought I was quite satisfied with. Sorry this review is so long but I could go on and on for hours about this company. So Zulily, I only have one thing left to say. See ya, wouldn't want to be ya!

I'm a mom of a toddler with another on the way. I have been a zulily customer for 2 years now. Spending hundreds of dollars on each order, on a regular basis. Up until the last 6 months, I would have given them 5 stars. Now? NO WAY. Their shipping & handling times have always been very long. I think they used to be shorter than the now estimated 10-14 business days, but I digress. This is the SECOND time I've had to contact customer service about an order that has taken WELL beyond their estimated handing time frame. I ordered 4 items in one order on September 13th; it is now 19 BUSINESS DAYS. 19; Later, and 2 of my items from that order are STILL pending. This is a recent issue, and hasn't just been for me. My sister (a very new customer) has had the same issue lately. They gave my sister a $5 credit because of the hassle. (Thanks a-holes for treating your newest members better than your LOYAL ones). Last time I contacted them about this, they blew me off, basically telling me, it takes a while to get orders out, and to just keep checking my order status. Thanks, alot, that was VERY useful, because I didn't know how to check my order status. I'm waiting to hear back about my 2 items that are taking nearly A MONTH to ship. I'm very disappointed in their service and the way they are handling things. SomethinG needs to change, before they go under. I won't be placing anymore orders through them, and when I receive all of my pending orders, I think I will be removing my account. Too much hassle to deal with, and their prices are not THAT competitive, especially not since you have to deal with this BS. Buyer beware!

Don't. Don't use the site. Their prices may be alluring, but it's not worth it.

I have been using Zulily for about 2 years now. The only reason I still use the site is because I can actually find plus sized clothing, BUT and this is a big BUT (pun intended) it takes alot of searching and homework before I find something suitable. You can't just look at something and like it and add it too the checkout. If you do you will be thoroughly disappointed when you get it. You have to first and foremost, google the item to see if you are actually getting the "huge" deal they always say you are. Zulily will put a big price and then slash it by a percentage and tell you what a fantastic deal you are getting ex. 80% saving - 100.00 regular,... you are paying 20.00. Well if you google the item you more often than not, find you are paying the regular price for the item at 20.00 or you can actually find the item being sold cheaper than 20.00 elsewhere... happens alot. So buyer beware. Also another thing that happens alot, the materials that the clothing is made from are not the best. Most times you see something that fits a model beautifully is actually a material that is not going to hang quite so well on you. I find this happens alot with the Rayon/Polyester/spandex tops which most of Zulily clothing is made from (cheap). If something is made from a quality material and looks nice, you are going to pay dearly for it. Remember that Zulily is an outlet store so you are probably eventually going to receive something that is either smoke damaged or defective, I have. I contact customer service and get a credit (they don't do refunds or returns). So armed with this knowledge, if you check out Zulily you will know in advance what to be aware of.
