To receive an item it does take awhile. I recently ordered something and it got here in two weeks, I was surprised. I only order things for my kids, no complains yet. The things I have ordered, the majority are much cheaper at Zulily than at other places.

Anything for kids is good.

First time customer, ordered two items on Zulily in late December. Received them both in late January. When I spoke to Customer Service, to get me off the phone, Jim offered me a promotion. Never heard from him about it again. When I finally received the packages, one of the items I ordered has a very strong disgusting smell. Per the return policy, I can't wash the item to see if the smell will come out and still return it if it doesn't.

I am tired of being ignored by this company every time I try to get in touch by phone, Facebook, etc. I will just keep finding websites to review them on until someone in the company takes notice.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. There is have over $1500 charged on my credit card for orders I did not make. Zulily said its a problem with the bank and has taken no responsibility for this. They also saud my account is closed so they are offer no help, and every time I call or email they say my account is closed so they cant help
Me. I did not make these purchases or close my account. They have the worst customer service and are a terrible company.

Most things I order are cheap so if they don't fit I just give away. A couple times I ordered expensive items that didn't fit or really bad quality for the price. I called customer service & was helped immediately. Once I was told to keep the item & was given full credit. Another time I was allowed to send item back & received credit - shipping. Was ok with this as it states no returns. As for home items, make-up, etc., have been pleased with items.

Ordered a dress for my granddaughter in her usual size. It came in a timely matter but the size was way off, far too big. The dress was also poorly made but for the price, I'd have been okay with that if it had fit. I contacted customer service--it should have another name, because all I got was a form email that was unresponsive. I hope she can wear it in a year or two because I hate wasting money.

Tip for consumers:
Be very careful about what you order. Sizing was way off on this item. Quality was poor especially considering what they cite as the original price. Customer service will not help you at all. Very disappointed.

Got sandals from zulily and they were larger than I order them-returned with zulily as instructed but no refund was issued after they received back the sandals-even every email was promising refund soon-they are a scam-opened a case with my credit card and Paypal to recover my money

I bought a swimsuit from Zulily a month ago to wear for vacation this Thursday and still have not received it. If you need an item any certain time that you order from them, better order 6 months ahead. You might still get it on time. I'm done.

I check the website daily - love getting the morning emails with highlights. Love the variety and prices. The only thing I wish was better was the return policy but whenever I've felt the issue has been from their side they have been very accommodating. If I have any concerns about the product I will try to do an internet search on the product for reviews or concerns before I buy. Overall, I've been very pleased and continue to shop Zulily.

As the grandmother of twelve, I cannot stress how much I enjoy Zulily! I don't "do" malls, so this is my go-to site for virtually everything. On the slim chance that something is not quite right, or if I make a mistake when ordering, the Zulily staff is fabulous about making things right.
Almost everything I have ordered is high quality, matches the description, is well-priced and arrives on time. For years I have been a cheerleader for this site.

Some items take a very long to ship and some things are non-returnable, so you have to pay attention to that when ordering. The quality of some items is poor, so go with name brands you know whenever possible. The Smart-Pay option is nice. Be aware that when you return an item, you don't get a refund on your credit card, you receive store credit instead, so either way, they still get your money!

I ordered a Christmas gift for my nephew on Zulily.com. Once it finally arrived, they mysteriously billed my credit card multiple times (in odd amounts) AND charged me for shipping (which is supposedly free when you spend over $20). When I called to find out what the heck was going on, they explained "We don't bill your credit card until the items ship out. The extra charges you are seeing are for "pre-authorizations. These extra charges will disappear after 72 hours". Ok- we will see. Maybe I'm missing something here, but I don't understand why they would be charging odd "pre-auth" amounts to my Visa AFTER I have already paid for the items and AFTER the items were delivered? Will NOT be using them again.

First of all, do be prepared to wait. Zulily orders from the manufacturers first, and then ships it to you. I waited about a week and half for my item which was fine, since I expected to. However, they sent me the WRONG item. I emailed them and they emailed be back quickly. They said that they no longer carry the correct item so they gave me a full refund and had me keep the item I received. They also gave me $10 of store credit. All fine and dandy except I was really looking forward to getting this item especially at the great price of 60% off. Now, I can not find it anywhere for anywhere near the same price. Will I order from again? Probably not.

I was honestly disappointed with my zulily experience. I knew it would take a little while longer to receive my order because I read about their shipping plan prior to placing my order. (I placed my order June 4 and received it June 24.)
Sadly, one of my dresses didn't fit and after reading about how to exchange it for a larger size I found out they don't "facilitate exchanges".
The dresses were cute but don't plan on doing business again with this company.

I have bought many many items... mainly girls dresses. My granddaughters have been very happy with all their new dresses. I found there are brands that have better quality than others so I just stay with the brands that are higher quality. Even the lower quality items are worth the money. I did receive one item that had a spot in a very conspicuous place and called customer service... they were top notch. Very kind. Very responsive and the problem was resolved at no additional cost to me and I am very pleased. I will continue to purchase from Zulily.

For those of you who do not know how Zulily works here it is. They have events that run for a certain amount of time. They place one large order for all items ordered during that event. They receive discounted pricing based on their order which they pass along to their customers.

SO if you order at the beginning of an event you will wait longer than if you ordered at the end of the event. Sometimes an event will run for several weeks. The even ends, they place their order with the vendor and one large order comes which they then package and send to their customers.

This is in their policies and they did send me confirming email explaining all of this when I placed my orders.

Yes, it works differently. They do not hide any of this and when I called about an estimated ship date their customer service was very friendly and helpful.

Be aware you may wait weeks for your orders. It is a part of their policies and why they can offer such great pricing.

The first time I ordered something I got that I wanted at a good price. Shipping took forever.
Second time was ok too, except for their Paypal checkout. However you set up your Paypal account with Zulily is the way it stays for ever. If you would like to use a different Paypal account or change bank accounts that Paypal draws from, too bad. And shipping took forever
The third time the items they sent were marked the wrong size, so I received the wrong size. Too bad for me! No returns no matter what. Now I am stuck with items that are pretty much useless, and shipping took forever.

I've been shopping with Zulily for a few years and I love it! I look forward to looking at it first thing in the morning as I am drinking my tea. I've even got my daughter hooked on it. Sometimes it takes a little while to get my order, but they post that on the site. Never have had a problem

Zulily's shipping policy or procedures are absolutely absurd. I totally agree with Peggi C. They were quick to take my money for the item I purchased, but I'm getting a notification email, a month later, letting me know that my items have NOW been shipped. I won't be shopping from Zulily anymore.

Terrible company to work with. Only sorry I didn't see these reviews before ordering my items. Waited so long for items eventually found them on sale much cheaper, even after a number of calls and promising delivery no later than 9/22 then told still in transit. From where Mars? Now I have to wait 5 to 7 days to see my refund, That must be coming from Mars too. Thats ok Zulilly companys like you don't last!

Slow shipping times, items never as pictured, poor quality items. Returns are a nightmare.
Back when this company started out they were all baby and kids clothes, they had good stuff then, I think they were bought out by someone else.
Go to TJ Max or Marshalls if your looking for discount stuff. This site is not worth it anymore
It's sad because at one point zuliiy was awesome

When I first started shopping from Zulily a year or more ago, they were pretty good. Now, about 50% of my orders are broken, missing items, have very low quality goods ( i. E. shirts you can see through because fabric is so thin, that aren't marked as sheer or supposed to be a sheer type shirt)

I don't know if they got too big or what. Right now I am trying to get a refund on something that had 8 parts, and only 6 arrived. Taken a month so far. :( really hit or miss these days with Zulily and their quality can't be depended upon.

I have made few purchase. All the item I bought are very very very poor quality although look nice in the picture.One jewelry came as broken.My stored credit has pilled up since they don't offer refund. Unless you don't know your brand really well like Michael Kors, or Kate spade, etc, don't buy. Even though you have to be aware, you might receive defective piece.
Stay away from small window cheap deal.

Customer service was always very good. Polite and receptive to my questions. They seemed to try real hard to resolve any issues. However the quality of the merchandise is CRAP. It looks so pretty in the photos, until you receive it. All cheap junk, worth maybe 1/4 of what you paid for it. So disappointing. I have given them several chances as I know some people really like this site. Well I've returned three things, got a store credit and tried one last time. CRAP. All cheap, flimsy, poorly made, ugly in real life. Sorry Zulilly, improve your merchandise because i am done! Never again.

BEWARE! You will be scammed! I fell for the gimmick deal of the day as I enthusiastically placed my order. I was promised delivery by Christmas, but about a week and a half later (3 days before) I received an email that my package would not arrive by said date and they would issue me a $15 credit to use on their site. They can eat it. I won't ever buy another thing again from them. I've read many other negative things about this company. I don't know even know how they are still in business.

Ordered an outfit for my granddaughter for Christmas on Dec. 10th. It's Christmas Day and still don't have it. How is it that Amazon and eBay can get you your orders in 2-3 days. Will never shop this site again. Wish I had read the reviews before buying. Very disappointed!

Don't expect fast deliver...even slow delivery apparently is not available.
